User talk:Phaedriel/Archive 16Awwww... thank you! :)I appreciate the flowers, but the most beautiful images you've given to all Wikipedia remain your gorgeous self-portraits, which I sneak a peek of whenever I need to be cheered up! ;) I've tried to return the favor by catching a candid shot of my kitty for you (it's the prettiest thing I have on hand), but he is not cooperating this morning, the rascal! So, I'll have to settle for sending virtual hugs! (XOXOXOXOXOXO) I know it isn't in your character; but, should you ever feel like suing someone, it's my treat! :) (I wish I were a baker, then I could offer free donuts instead...) You're adorable! Xoloz 17:32, 3 July 2006 (UTC) She can have a pic of mine instead. Terms and conditions apply. Overlonged exposure has been known to cause uneasiness in humans. Major typing error there...if you can fix it, I would appreciate it. Combined with the copy-n-pasting I was doing, no wonder it looked and felt a bit off. Thanks for noticing...I will continue off and on. You have given me strength to continue now that my work in this dusty corner of clutter has been noticed.
RfA Thank you
Many thanks againDear Phædriel, many thanks again for your kind and caring words. Here is a picture of my cat, resting. He's so special, he just spills right out of the page! :) Your comrade, El_C 00:36, 4 July 2006 (UTC) Userpages barnstarFor bringing life and vibrancy to the userpages of so many and being a beacon of hope to the encyclopedia, I award you this barnstar. RFA nomination?Would you be interested in becoming an admin and spread some wikilove around by cajoling editors to behave civilly, and when not agreable to use the mop and flamethrower? If so, drop me a line on my talk page. ≈ jossi ≈ t • @ 04:56, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
HolidayThanks for the message! It was a pleasent sight to tired, tired eyes. I wouldn't exactly put it down as 'a relaxing vacation', but I had a lot of fun (and that includes running from the sinister Bed & Breakfast we were staying at...). Sergeant Snopake 08:53, 4 July 2006 (UTC) I'm Back!!My dear sweet Phaedriel, thanks for the kick in the backside - I'll get back to editing right away! Serriously though, the vacation was great, very relaxing, but the car ride back was about 8 hours, so I pretty much just fell into bed ;D Anyway, how have you been (five days is a VERY long time in wikipedia), what have you been up to? It's really good to be back, and really good to hear from you. Big hugs back, The Halo (talk) 09:00, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
Dear anonymous:I would have normally posted this at your talk page, but since you appear to be using a dynamic IP address, I can't be sure if you'll read it anywhere but here. I have no idea what I have done to anger you so much, but I would have preferred if you contacted me to discuss whatever problems you might have with me. I can stand many, many things, and I have withstood all sorts of childish personal attacks in my time in WP; but to be accused of being a betrayer to my race, and to those things I deeply believe in, goes far beyond what I consider acceptable. Now, if you were simply the usual ocasional anonymous vandal, I wouldn't care - but you seem to be too well informed about my background and my contributions for that. Frankly, if you wanted to bring me down, news for you - you failed, because I can recognize the words of an Indigenous brother or sister when I see them, and hardly would one make a judgement like the one you just did. If you simply have a problem with El C or someone else I tried to cheer up, then why don't you just go ahead and say it. Furthermore, I invite you to discuss it privately with me. But whatever you do, please stop leaving the same message over and over in my Talk page - hardly anything positive will be gained from that. Peace be with you, Phædriel ♥ tell me - 09:03, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
And how am I supposed to contact you privately? I won't use the link to email provided on the page. You'll probably never get it. 61.78.123.176 09:37, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
Illegitimi non carborundumMy dear, dear Phaedriel. I've seen the trouble that you've been having with Thewolfstar, and I just wanted to post here to remind you that she is but one. You have dozens of friends (and I am immensely proud to consider myself one of them) who KNOW that you are
Seems to date to WWII, and was used by General Joseph W. Stillwell.

Trooping the Colour urgentDear Phaedriel, Firstly, thanks for saving this page, to which I have contributed a lot recently, from vandalism. Secondly, I refer to some edits made on 2 July ( I think) by a party bearing the number 62.56.98.120. I do not have a user name. Do you know who this person is and can you help me contact them? Or can you do so? They made an edit that is incorrect, substituting the expression "Dais" for "Base" throughout the article. I refer you to the discussion page on Trooping the Colour where I clarify that Saluting Base is the correct term, NOT Saluting "Dais". (I was lucky enough to attend T the C this year and have the programme stating this in black and white.) Please reply to me at the Trooping the Colour discussion page. Many thanks for any help you can give. -- FClef 22:23, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
My dear SharonIt's simply impossible to say how touched I am by your beautiful, kind words. So here's a heart for a lovely Wikipedian and friend, a little something I had fun with in Photoshop. :) Have a wonderful Fourth of July! Kind regards, Sango123 23:59, 4 July 2006 (UTC) Your article, Flamenco A Go-Go, was selected for DYK!I never would have done anything with that article if you hadn't started it! We finally found a Travel Lodge (which is like a motel) at nearly midnight, and stayed there overnight. The holiday was pretty much normal from there. the next day, we wandered around Canterbury, and found a hotel. We went to Warwick Castle, Herne Bay, Hastings, an absolutely gorgeous town near there called Rye, another beach, which I believe was called Greatstone, and Hampton Court Palace. And the weather was splendid! I don't think it ever got below 30 (I forget how to convert to fahrenheit), and it once went up to 39! How are you doing? Planning to go on vacation yourself anytime soon? ;) Sergeant Snopake 09:12, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
Clouds and starsI wanted a cloud :( (but thanks for the star, anyway!)Will (message me!) 11:52, 6 July 2006 (UTC) You're very very very very very welcome!— Thank youvery, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very much for the gift. Love, Orane (talk • cont.) 02:52, 7 July 2006 (UTC) thanks ever so muchThat message was pretty much the best thing I've gotten recently. Regrettably my recent lack of activity comes as the result of a rather strange accident which is taking a while to heal up, rather then temporary stress. I suppose I could be using the time to edit, but im going through my West Wing DVD collection instead, which seems a little less productive, but is endlessly entertaining. I should be returning here shortly, and just wanted to let you know I got your message before too much time had passed and I looked ungrateful. In hopes of a new friendship... -Mask 03:12, 7 July 2006 (UTC) FavourPhaedriel, Hi. My name is Evan Robidoux. I was wondering if you could do me a tiny favour and review me. For the past few weeks, I have been wondering how I can improve on Wikipedia and I badly need the feedback. Just one thing I'd like you to keep in mind: there was this issue that I had with a vandal (User:68.96.23.7) that I believed I could help turn into a better user, but ended up failing miserably. I have a bad feeling that it may affect my WikiFuture. Please put this under scrutiny as you review me. Cheers! --Evan Robidoux 07:08, 7 July 2006 (UTC) Hi Sharon. As promised, I've given your WikiProject's categorisation a spring clean. This involved editing a few templates, removing some mainspace articles from the WikiProject category, assigning all the Project pages and templates I could find to Category:WikiProject Indigenous peoples of North America, and creating Category:WikiProject Indigenous peoples of North America articles and Category:Indigenous peoples of North America portal. You may or may not want Category:WikiProject Indigenous peoples of North America participants, if you do want such a thing all you need to do is add it to your user page templates (see Category:WikiProject The Beatles participants for an example). Hope that helps. --kingboyk 11:51, 7 July 2006 (UTC) EncyclopedistHow familiar are you with the events around Encyclopedist's blocking? If you're not very familiar, here is a very breif thumbnail of the side of events that I saw. I will gladly fill in any more details, though I admit to not having encountered him before the blow-up. - TexasAndroid 18:18, 7 July 2006 (UTC) ThanksI am deeply sorry for the sins I have commited here. Another user we wish would returnAbigail-II has been gone for two years (long before I ever joined the project), and I just came across her page a month ago. I don't even know what to say about it…sadly, it's more true than it isn't. I don't agree with her logic on all points, but it does make me frustrated when people revert (etc.) completely valid and necessary changes without using the talk pages—now I know that what may be frustrating for onw Wikipedian can be completely maddening for another, so for the larger part, I don't blame her. One other thing...I need an archive table set up for when I start an archive (after 25 headings) and was wondering if you could do it for me. —It's The Cliff! 20:29, 8 July 2006 (UTC) HelloThanks for the anti-vandalism barnstar the other day. As I hit 1000 edits (most of which are reverts and warns, plus a whole lot of spelling) I figured I'd let you know I'm suffering from Editcountitis and would like to thank you for your motivation in these past few days. --Draicone (talk) 22:03, 8 July 2006 (UTC) StarThank you so much for the star award.
