User talk:Pedro/Archive 12Hi Scott manson here, my client has attemped to start a page for me, although you keep deleting it. Please contact removed email to prove authenticity thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by Viridblink (talk • contribs) 23:37, 10 November 2007 (UTC) Okay by me. :) I highly doubt the guy was ever going to contribute anything worth keeping. GlassCobra 23:42, 10 November 2007 (UTC) I'm sorry to overrule you, but I'm absolutely outraged that someone should bring the picture of your son into this. This user has gone way, way, way beyond the point where any further contribution is even remotely possible and I can't accept the possibility that he will insult your family again; I've permanently blocked the account. You were far more forgiving than I'm prepared to be on your behalf. The only person who's going to change my mind on this topic is you; if you want something different to happen, let me know and I'll do it, but I'm so mad right now you could probably fry eggs on my head. Hi, I am trying to create a wikipedia page for CP Morgan Company. I promise you, I am not associated with the company in any way. How can I edit my page so that it is not advertising? I do not want it to be advertising or come off as advertising! KB Homes, Shea Homes and Ryland Homes all have pages in wikipedia. Thanks so much Jdent15 16:45, 14 November 2007 (UTC)joelle RepliedI reply on my talk page, so it would be best if you check there for responses. — Save_Us_229 21:03, 14 November 2007 (UTC) ProtectionHey Pedro, I need protection on these pages: User:Lex94/Signature and User:PayneXKiller/Signature so me and my adoptee can have our signatures protected from any vandals. Delete FormicaPedro: I would greatly appreciate it if you would reconsider this decision. I did not authorize this bio, and I am not 'notable'...although thanks for that. MJF —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.177.177.162 (talk) 12:36, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
They are already recreating the pagesNow User:Neda23 is recreating the pages you just deleted. Ridernyc 12:57, 15 November 2007 (UTC) SignaturesThe problem is that the code for my signature did not fit in the My Preferences tab. Lex94 Talk Contributions Guest Book 18:14, 15 November 2007 (UTC) Also, Wikipedia:Signatures#Transclusion of templates tells us to not use templates, because they aren't technically actually signatures. However, my preferences tab, has '''{{User:Lex94/Signature}} ~~~~~. The 5 "~" classify it as a signature.
Signature with talk linkHow's this? Any suggestions gratefully received. Accounting4Taste | talk 21:39, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
[[User:Accounting4Taste|Accounting4Taste]]:<small>[[User talk:Accounting4Taste|talk]]</small> don't use the pipe - it breaks templates on user blocks (only found that out after I got the buttons!!). You can play with the code or let me know!! Pedro : Chat 21:45, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
Miserable old git...Hahaha...admitting it is the first step to becoming
Yo[1] - I really don't think this article is justified. I mean, it's hardly noteworthy, AND it's a cover of Led Zepp's Good Times, Bad Times. And this non-noteworthy Godsmack version is already mentioned in detail on that article, so this other article just should not exist. Cover versions are never given a separate article, even if it becomes more famous than the original (but this has clearly not, and will never happen). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.185.219.1 (talk) 05:28, 16 November 2007 (UTC) Red links in the edit logWhen I check the edit log the are links to article that are supposedly requested but not yet created. How are those request made? And how do you delete something? NYDreams 10:50, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
HoaxesHola Pedro. I suspected someone might take issue with my tagging this silly hoax for speedy deletion. But I am familiar with the rules. I'll have you know was attempting to follow speedy delete guidelines, which state that patent nonsense does not include: "poor writing, partisan screeds, obscene remarks, vandalism, fictional material, material not in English, badly translated material, implausible theories, or hoaxes of any sort; some of these, however, may be deleted as vandalism in blatant cases" (emphasis added). I'd say copying a Toy Story writeup and replacing the word "Toy" with "Aliens" and inserting a fake and poorly manipulated movie-poster is pretty blatant. But I am often wrong about such things. Isn't there a faster way to delete this garbage than PROD or AfD?--The Fat Man Who Never Came Back 11:17, 16 November 2007 (UTC) Wikipedia pageHi. I have created a mock CP Morgan Company, Inc. page in my user page for- Jdent15. Could you please take a look at it and tell me what I need to change so it can be used on Wikipedia? Thanks! Jdent15 16:22, 16 November 2007 (UTC)joelle I have recreated the page however, there is a message coming up saying it still faces trouble. I tried using the KB Homes and Shea Homes as examples of how to write it. Do I need more more references or information to complete this article? Thank you thank you 76.106.38.66 (talk) 22:11, 17 November 2007 (UTC)joelle
ItsNatPor favor Pedro puedes revisar el artículo ItsNat de nuevo? alguien ha marcado el artículo de nuevo como borrable con casi ningún cambio después de la última "aprobación". Gracias. Pedro please can you review again the ItsNat article? someone *again* has marked the article as speedy deletion with almost no changes after the last "approbation". Thanks. -- Jmarranz (talk) 17:18, 16 November 2007 (UTC) My RfAI'm sorry you feel that way. I am deeply concerned by the calm acceptance by everyone that this series of IPs is who he/she claims to be; and some folks' positions seem to verge on, "Well, of course, we'll remove any articles that the subject doesn't want here"; in other words, we'll self-censor. I do not feel I was biting the noob; I don't even know if there is a noob at the other end of that IP. (That said: I'd rather have honest criticism than sly weaseling. You stated your position clearly and explained it well.) --Orange Mike 23:13, 16 November 2007 (UTC) |
