Disambiguation link notificationHi. When you recently edited Georg Nicolaus Knauer, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Illiad (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. MSU InterviewDear Patar Knight, My name is Jonathan Obar user:Jaobar, I'm a professor in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at Michigan State University and a Teaching Fellow with the Wikimedia Foundation's Education Program. This semester I've been running a little experiment at MSU, a class where we teach students about becoming Wikipedia administrators. Not a lot is known about your community, and our students (who are fascinated by wiki-culture by the way!) want to learn how you do what you do, and why you do it. A while back I proposed this idea (the class) to the communityHERE, where it was met mainly with positive feedback. Anyhow, I'd like my students to speak with a few administrators to get a sense of admin experiences, training, motivations, likes, dislikes, etc. We were wondering if you'd be interested in speaking with one of our students.
If you have questions or concerns at any time, feel free to email me at obar@msu.edu. I will be more than happy to speak with you. Thanks in advance for your help. We have a lot to learn from you. Sincerely, Jonathan Obar --Jaobar (talk) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.11.206.39 (talk) 03:47, 21 February 2012 (UTC) The Bugle: Issue LXXI, February 2012

Citation of WP:BLP in the deletion of 'Cruelty in Islam'Are you sure about that? I find it a stretch to say that 'Islam' somehow falls into the category of 'living person'. I disagree with the rest of your rationale as well, although we'll deal with it one point at a time, this being the most egregious I think. I should also hasten to add that I am not overly dismayed by the page being deleted – it's no big thing. Just the rationale really. I mean, attack page, really? I find that to be a knee-jerk and frankly thoughtless reaction to a good faith disambiguation effort. Vranak (talk) 05:12, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
Deleteing of Coopism pageDear friend on the other side of the Atlantic. I wish to know why coopism wikipedia page was deleted? I understand that it has some similarity with the cooperativ movment, but coopism is the definition of the ideology, and must not be confused with the cooperativ movment. The REACH FoundationIn regards to trying to create a wikipedia, I have permission from The REACH Foundation to use their content. I used to work for them and the work they do for children in need should be publicized. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nonprofit1234 (talk • contribs) 14:57, 28 February 2012 (UTC)

== Sam Foley Hi, You have recently deleted a page that I had created "Sam Foley"...this had previously been restored so I could add the appropriate references into this article however due to time constraints with work, between this being restored and you deleting it I haven't had chance. Would you be kind enough to either restore so I can copy the information off it and work on the page whilst it is off line and won't cause anyone any offence. It is my first page and look me a long time to get the coding right for the work I had done. Thank you and kind regards (Sreilly84 (talk) 13:50, 18 April 2012 (UTC))

Credo Reference Update & Survey (your opinion requested)Credo Reference, who generously donated 400 free Credo 250 research accounts to Wikipedia editors over the past two years, has offered to expand the program to include 100 additional reference resources. Credo wants Wikipedia editors to select which resources they want most. So, we put together a quick survey to do that:
It also asks some basic questions about what you like about the Credo program and what you might want to improve. At this time only the initial 400 editors have accounts, but even if you do not have an account, you still might want to weigh in on which resources would be most valuable for the community (for example, through WikiProject Resource Exchange). Also, if you have an account but no longer want to use it, please leave me a note so another editor can take your spot. If you have any other questions or comments, drop by my talk page or email me at wikiocaasi@yahoo.com. Cheers! Ocaasi t | c 17:27, 11 July 2012 (UTC) The Signpost: 16 July 2012
