2017Ethnic groups in HoustonHi! I remember you added information about the German settlers in the U.S. to the Demographics of Houston page. The info is now at Ethnic_groups_in_Houston#Whites. Since these details are not in Trevino p. 29 (the reference attached), do you have other references for this part? Thanks, WhisperToMe (talk) 01:18, 1 January 2017 (UTC)

Papua New GuineaIn this edit, you changed the capture of German New Guinea from "early in World War I" to "in 1905", which does not appear to be correct. I've changed it, but if the several articles in Wikipedia referring to this event are incorrect, please include some sources to back up the date.-gadfium 19:05, 19 January 2017 (UTC)

If the punctuation is placed inside, that is indicating the punctuation is part of the work's title, which invariably isn't true. This guideline appears to clearly back up my position. I didn't mean to jump all over you edit to Montgomery County, Mississippi. You make excellent edits and I admire your writing. I'm not sure "repression" was the only motivation for the Great Migration. A while back I added Clarksdale, Mississippi#The Great Migration and there were many reasons, although a desire to leave the segregated south was surely one of them. Cheers. Attention: WikiProject African diaspora participantsHello fellow project participants. Not sure how many users are still active as normal Wikipedia editors but felt the need to attempt to get a gauge on who can be called on for help with articles falling under the umbrella of the African diaspora project. According to the project's article table there are over six thousand articles related to the African diaspora; there's not a hundred at FA/GA grade and there's over twelve hundred that are unassessed. With Wikipedia being one of the major information reference points in the world today we should consider this unacceptable. Much work needs to be done on the rating of the importance of articles as well. With more communication amongst participants and a dedication to addressing the articles on the to-do list I believe we can make this WikiProject one of the most well organized and thorough on the site. If you are interested in collaborative work with some of your fellow project members, have certain expertise on any particular subjects, ideals on/about the WikiProject, etc. simply drop your name under the "Project revision" section I've created on the project's talk page and state your intentions and main points of interest in our WikiProject and we can attempt to move forward from there. Hoping to hear from everyone soon! WikiGuy86 (talk) 03:21, 24 April 2017 (UTC) Talk:Operation MockingbirdHi, Parkwells! Please commentI had an unfortunate dispute last week on West Virginia over some clarifications I wished to be made, resulting in a stalemate with another editor that spilled over onto Talk:West Virginia, which I was wondering if you could take a look at, since I believe this is in your field too. He is accusing me of OR, but in my view he is appealing to Divine Right of Kings as a precedent, if you can believe that. It's the line that says "His sister Mrs. Lucien Webster remained loyal to the Union although married to a Confederate officer, who died during the war." Francis Smith Webster was married to Lucien Bonaparte Webster, who had died in 1853. Do you happen to have access to a source saying that she remained loyal to the Union? If so we can add that part back in.--Cúchullain t/c 21:59, 21 August 2017 (UTC)

College Mound, TX = ghost townHey Parkwells, when looking through the College Mound, Texas article and seeing the "ghost town" mention I was confused. In my mind ghost towns have 0 populations while buildings remain. Reading the Ghost town article it states that ghost towns can still have small populations. Is there some official Wiki guideline as to what gets included in lists of ghost towns? Or is just a matter of a notable source stating it is a ghost town? For what it's worth sources online give a population of 300-500 for College Mound. SQGibbon (talk) 22:12, 24 October 2017 (UTC)
