A barnstar for you!
A goat for you!Thank you for improving my wiki page on Eve C Zyzik. I'm having to create it for a Uni assignment, so your help is appreciated :) Zarah629 (talk) 23:57, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
Nowiki & tlYou can wrap your favourite code fragments as <nowiki> code fragment </nowiki> for easier cut & paste, fwiw, e.g.:
There's also a tempate called {{tl}} which you can use to display a template name on which you can click to read its documentation, whilst preventing it doing its template thing, e.g. to produce {{coord}}, {{cite book}}. All the above probably best read in edit mode. --Tagishsimon (talk) 09:47, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

More thanksI'm still playing with last night's scientists, but I see you've been all over the place adding links & such. No-one else will thank you, but I will. Well brought up, you see ;). I know how much work it is, so it's really appreciated that you're putting so much effort into these (as well as the economists - I saw your fingerprints there, too) --Tagishsimon (talk) 14:57, 5 April 2019 (UTC) Thank youThanks for all your fabulous contributions to the stubs I have been making! Most appreciated! ThatMontrealIP (talk) 02:42, 9 April 2019 (UTC)
Evelyn Conyersthanks for the thanks. if you want a list of all the Florence Nghtingale medal recipients, many without articles, here is a query. [1] -- cheers -- Queen-washington (talk) 20:25, 10 April 2019 (UTC) May you join this month's editathons from WiR!
--Megalibrarygirl (talk) 16:17, 27 April 2019 (UTC) via MassMessaging Autopatrolled grantedHi Oronsay, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Schwede66 22:36, 20 May 2019 (UTC) Kia ora from NZ!Kia ora Oronsay, just thought I'd leave you a note to say hi and thanks for the input on the Cheeseman family articles. I have been trying to add the sisters to the infobox on Thomas' article but I can't seem to get it right, even after reading the WP page about infoboxes! - do you know how to add a line to an infobox for relatives?? DYK for Anna B. EcksteinOn 13 August 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Anna B. Eckstein, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Anna Eckstein (pictured) dressed in white and collected six million signatures to promote world peace before the First World War? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Anna B. Eckstein. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Anna B. Eckstein), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. — Maile (talk) 12:02, 13 August 2019 (UTC) Thank you!Thank you for participating in the Franklin Women Wikipedia Edit-a-thon for Women in Health and Medical Research. --Rosiestep (talk) 16:25, 27 August 2019 (UTC) via MassMessaging AWR@Oronsay: I am hoping you might turn your considerable abilities to the appalling article Australian Women's Register. Improvement is needed because Tom.Reding needs to link to it with the AWR link in the authority control (See Barbara Hanrahan... Ring me if I seem to be talking nonsense. We do need this article and I cannot see it being more than a pathetic stub.... MargaretRDonald (talk) 10:21, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
Jillian GreenI got tempted to do Jillian Green (see User:MargaretRDonald/sandbox/Jillian Green). The links to the Turner Galleries had such good texts and so many images illustrating her work.... (See exhibitions). But, there are only effectively four sources: her website, the Turner galleries, the NGA and Cruthers references. It is clear that she has had many major commissions, but the sources are possibly too close to her and not sufficiently many? Hoping you might do something to save the article. (PS. You probably knew it, but unlike the taxonbar, the authority control does not come up in the article preview, clearly the from parameter is no use here.) MargaretRDonald (talk) 00:04, 31 August 2019 (UTC)
Mueller's female collectorsHi @Oronsay: See User:MargaretRDonald/sandbox/Mueller's female collectors This clearly is going to take me forever. (I was unable to do maps for the smiths. Data are entered differently in AVH as compared to MELISR and in fact I doubt if most of their data are entered - nothing corresponding to Winnie Jane could be found). However, the question is whether this format might be acceptable with so many unnotable names... PS Please suggest some suitable categories.. MargaretRDonald (talk) 01:51, 6 September 2019 (UTC)

--Megalibrarygirl (talk) 18:44, 25 November 2019 (UTC) via MassMessaging ArbitriumHello, thanks for adding a link to Prof. Martha Clokie on the Arbitrium page. However, I could not find any citation for her making that particular claim. According to the Nature paper, what she said is something quite different. Can you please provide sources? Thank you. --Jose Mathew (talk) 18:05, 26 November 2019 (UTC)
Thank you for finding the date of death- I couldn't see it anywhere. I suspect there is more to say about the woman but I was editing as usual from online sources and at first I really struggled to find anything about her. It always amazes me how some days the information is like getting water from a stone but then the trickle starts... ☕ Antiqueight chatter 13:43, 1 December 2019 (UTC)

Enchantress (1825 ship)Hi Oronsay, First, thanks for adding the project info to the talk page. Second, I reverted most of your changes to the master's name. I generally try to stick to the name as it is in the source. This frequently, very frequently, leads to inconsistency within the WP article. But I do so in case someone, perhaps a genealogist or local historian is searching. It suggests alternatives they might try in their sleuthing, or may even help them find the article in the first place, depending on where they are starting from. (By the way, I have even seen ship's captains vary the spelling of their own name, or that of their ship, and that is nothing compared with the Anglicization of place names.) Speedy deletion nomination of Category:2020 Australian novelsA tag has been placed on Category:2020 Australian novels requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Dora SerleThank you for alerting me to the errors associated with the naming of Hacke Place, Conder. I have, with the family's consent, initiated correction with the ACT Surveyor General. Doubtless this will take time!Lexysexy (talk) 05:07, 22 January 2020 (UTC)
S. H. ErvinThanks for your work on Ervin. You certainly added some value to the article. I took a few images of the S. H. Ervin Gallery and realised that Ervin needed an entry. Collywolly (talk) 22:30, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
