• I have still zapped it, though, because it was a copyvio from http://ualr.edu/forum/index.php/2014/10/10/devenaires-redemption-in-love/. When you find something that has been input all in one, and is written in that flowery PR style, it's worth feeding a sentence or two into Google, which will often show you where it comes from. Can you please add all the information you have removed as I am currently getting the references now. The Reg Gutteridge quotes were directly from The fight footage from the BBC Archives. And the Steve sims quote is directly from himself via interview. The Bartley Gorman story is backed up in his own autobiography and I can provide a reference.

I have tried to add the quotes with references and I am being told it's not the correct page.

This page is important to Newport and the deceased boxer in question and after 16 years of collecting for the library and gaining video footage and in talks for a city memorial in memory of David.

This is slowing and stopping all the good work people have done, there was nothing on that page that couldn't be put to a book or a record or a DVD.

Can you please help as I understand you needed references and I am willing to oblige but at the moment this situation is very upsetting.

@FinnRiver180: Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. On Wikipedia, we have specific policies to ensure that the content that we place here is of the highest quality. Please read WP:VERIFIABILITY and WP:SOURCES for more information. I mistakenly thought that the person was alive, but it appears I was wrong on that. My apologies. Articles of living people are ruled even more strictly when it comes to content. The general rule on Wikipedia is, if it cannot be found in sources both online and offline in print, it cannot be on Wikipedia because it cannot be verified. • Perhaps this is a comprehension problem. Let's take the relevant bits in pieces. They (as in Beavis and Butt-Head, the fictional characcters the paragraph is about) later view the actual Breaking the Law video in the third season episode "Scared Straight". During the viewing they are distressed by Rob Halford's clothing and decide that, even though they still like Judas Priest as a band, the song sucks.. I mean, you can argue with Mike Judge's if you like, but I that being the characters opinion since 1993 still stands. I'm putting it back. It's about the show. Sandbox

I posted that protection request before the admins did some technical measure to block the vandal from posting inappopriate images. Also since the page has been protected in the past I thought that it would stop the person from wasting editors' time. Feinoha ^Talk 03:33, 23 April 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion

Hi, I see you tagged Supriya Kumar Chakraborty as a WP:U5 violation, "Blatant misuse of Wikipedia as a web host". Thanks for spotting it and tagging it, but the U-series speedy deletion categories are only applicable to pages in user space and not to articles in article space. The appropriate tag here was WP:A7, "No indication of importance (individuals, animals, organizations, web content, events)". I have deleted it under that instead.
