BiscayNigel - thanks for the message - I have just got back from a journey to the Bay of Biscay myself so I was inspired to write about it. I am fairly new myself on Wikipedia (certainly no expert!) Tony forcrudateplease visit my page and tell me what you think of my favorite word. P.S. Re: 62.25.109.194 blockThanks for pointing this particular user out. I agree that 3 hours isn't enough. However, it is a shared-ip address, meaning that other legitimate editors use it, so it will have to do for now. Once again, thanks for helping out in this one, and welcome to Wikipedia. Happy editing. --Jay(Reply) 15:37, 26 July 2006 (UTC) geocachingNot sure why you sound so offended about a small edit that left most of your addition, and just trimmed it a bit. I hope you will see the site for what it is, thank you. Mark —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.159.184.222 (talk • contribs)

The university itself is also probably unrecognized due to its geography. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.255.230.227 (talk • contribs)
A relative?Hallo Nigel, I'm Dirk Beetstra his sister, Richtje. I heard from Dirk that you once visited a Jan Beetstra in Dokkum. Well, I'm very interested in genealogy especially the Beetstra family. But I don't really know which Jan Beetstra you mean, can you tell me more about him and his family? You can find the emailadress on [1] Thank you! 81.207.121.135 16:36, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
Oops. Sorry about that. It wasn't meant for you, obviously. - Gimboid13 09:36, 10 August 2006 (UTC) ReginaWhat I have added to wikipedia concerning the entry Regina, is completely factual and intended to assist the reader. It is a fact that the city Regina rhymes with "vagina". This is a common mistake for people talking about our city, and the clarification is useful to the reader. Please reinsert my addition. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.84.1.68 (talk • contribs) 16:48, 11 Aug 2006 (UTC)

The user did many vandal edits in a short period of time with misleading edit summaries, which pretty much guarantees that (s)he's here for just vandalism. Re: ThanksWell, thank you... All I noticed is that there was a Vandal Edit war going on, and I managed to catch something, well, not so nice. It might be because of your use of Vandal Proof. It's more likely because of you reverting and warning Shabadoo on Al Pacino vandalism. The good guys usually get the short end of the PA stick. Logical2u 10:39, 23 August 2006 (UTC) Re: MWT issue queryNigelR wrote:
The error we're getting is a VB runtime error, which is how pre-.NET versions of Visual Basic deal with untrapped errors. If I had a good look at the source code, I could probably figure out what is causing the error, and modify the code to trap/fix it. I'm a little busy at the moment (as is Michael, presumably), but if I find time, I'll see what I can do. I suspect it may be Internet Explorer-related (I'm assuming it uses the IE WebBrowser control, in which case the pages are rendered using IE regardless of what browser is set as the default) – what version of Internet Explorer do you have? If I do find anything, I'll leave Michael a message, and he can upload a new version – Gurch 16:23, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Hmmm, in that case it may be something else. I have the beta version of IE7 installed (though I use Firefox normally), which I thought may have broken something. But since you have the same problem, that's evidently not it. We're both using Windows XP Pro, but I can't think of any reason why that should affect MWT. I shall have a look at the source anyway – Gurch 19:35, 23 August 2006 (UTC) Thanks for the heads-up. FYI the notice the original creator kept deleting was for a proposed deletion not an AfD, and there's nothing technically wrong with removing one of them. Anyone, even the article creator, can remove a prod... but if the creator keeps it up I'll likely nominate it for AfD anyway. VoiceOfReason 19:40, 23 August 2006 (UTC) Your advice is very useful, I might seem strange that I kept deleting it, not because I was ignoring the advice. I made corrections, then I delete the advice thinking that the editing was done. Again, there is a whole category in Wikipedia dedicating to Unites states Law firms, then the whole category is doom to be delete if my page is the problem. If the deletion is because of my user name, which i chose after I decided to write the article, then all I am at fault is for being honest and not trying to cheat the system. Then I don't think I should be reprehended for honesty. I would sincerely ask the editors and administrators to reconsider deleting my page. Link on "Desolation Row"Before you accuse people of adding commercial links or private websites, you might want to actually look at them. The wikipedia story on Desolation row stated in the tag at the top "This article or section does not cite its references or sources. You can help Wikipedia by introducing appropriate citations." I happened to have come across an article on the Minnesota Public Radio website (a subsidiary of NPR) which also suggests the link between Dylan's song and the lynching in Duluth, Minnesota. That was the story I linked the footnote to, as you would have known had you not made assumptions and actually looked at it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.220.42.4 (talk • contribs) 15:42, 29 Aug 2006 (UTC)
