Disambiguation page

Niceguyedc, looks like you really like some disambiguation pages! I have a quick question for you: Right now, Hopewell, Mississippi redirects to the "Mississippi" section of the list of Hopewell. It looks like the "Hopewell, Mississippi" page was merged with the list in 2020 and has a tag that says "This is a redirect from a page that was merged into another page. This redirect was kept in order to preserve the edit history of this page after its content was merged into the content of the target page. Please do not remove the tag that generates this text (unless the need to recreate content on this page has been demonstrated) or delete this page." You probably know exactly what this tag means/says as you've probably seen it plenty of times, but I've never seen it so I wasn't exactly sure about it. Could I turn the redirect page of "Hopewell, Mississippi" into something like Good Hope, Mississippi so that the communities in Mississippi are all on one, easier to read page? Or should I just keep the page like it is and let it just redirect to the list? Let me know if this doesn't make any sense or I need to clarify something. Thanks! @Dofftoubab: Normally I would say to go ahead and WP:BEBOLD, but in this case, it appears that every single [[Hopewell, state]] article is actually a redirect to the Hopewell disambiguation page. Unless there are actually a lot more articles for places named Hopewell in Mississippi than the 7 listed there, I would just leave it as it is.-Niceguyedc (talk) 02:46, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
