Hello, Msshss, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
Hi, I moved your user talk back to the user space as it shouldn't have been moved along with the article. Also your user page probably shouldn't redirct to the article, but this isn't a big problem and doesn't need to be fixed right a way. To fix it you can replace the redirect text with something else or request speedy deletion of the redirect page by pasting this code {{db-userreq}} here. If you need any help just let me know. Hello! NahidSultan,
you are invited to the Teahouse, a forum on Wikipedia for new editors to ask questions about editing Wikipedia, and get support from peers and experienced editors. Please join us!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Dhaka University Film Society, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to contain material copied from http://www.dufs.org/history.html#DUFS's, and therefore to constitute a violation of Wikipedia's copyright policies. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators are liable to be blocked from editing.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under license allowed by Wikipedia, then you should do one of the following:
I'm afraid that Nuhash Palli also has copyright issues. :/ Please review Wikipedia:Copy-paste. We have some very specific and very strict rules about what content can and cannot be copied onto Wikipedia. If you have any questions about these policies, please feel free to come by my talk page. --Moonriddengirl(talk)12:13, 31 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Re: How to add "help to improve this article" on my article?
This block is due to ongoing problems. I have just removed substantial content from an article you created on November 27th because it was copied from somewhere else. It is really, really important that you learn these rules and stop doing this, or your account is likely to be permanently blocked. Please see Wikipedia:Copy-paste and the other copyright policies before this block expires or before requesting an unblock. --Moonriddengirl(talk)12:16, 29 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Badhan (blood donor organization) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. SpartazHumbug!07:12, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, two things that you might not be aware of: you should still be able to edit this talk page even while prevented from editing elsewhere; as documented here, the person who blocked your account is willing to consider a request from you to unblock. So, if you haven't completely given up on wikipedia and can continue working without making copyright violations, you can make a request on this talk page that your account be unblocked. Best wishes, Sminthopsis84 (talk) 15:08, 4 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Shahbagh Square, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Rangpur and Rajbari (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
Hello Nahid! Thanks you for helping Wikipedia, but your signature does not link to you userpage nor your user talk page. If you turn off "enable wiki markup" in preferences, this should be fixed. Thanks! — nerdfighter23:23, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry to have to bring this up again, but it is absolutely essential that you stop copying content from other sources. I just removed a sentence from Dr. Abdur Razzak (Politician) that included material copied from and closely paraphrasing a 2011 article on a different Abdur Razzak. The source says "A versatile charismatic leader with dynamic organising capacity Razzaq emerged as a popular parliamentarian, and served Bangladesh government in different capacities." The sentence you put in the article on the other Razzak says, "A versatile charismatic leader with dynamic organizing capacity Razzak emerged as a popular parliamentarian, and took over the responsibilities of different ministries of Government of Bangladesh." The first half of that sentence is exactly the same. If you can't say it in your own words, you either will have to quote it or not include it in the article at all. --Moonriddengirl(talk)23:51, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Nahid, thanks for your contributions. Just a reminder that we don't normally link years, dates, common terms, and commonly known country-names. Thanks! Tony(talk) 10:05, 19 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed you added categories (birth and death years) to my new article on Robert Isaacson, which suggests you appreciate its substance. Unfortunately, a User who appended a hasty "speedy deletion" tag (removed by another Wikipedia User) has now restored it. Would you mind weighing in on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Robert Isaacson and supporting the article's continued inclusion on Wikipedia? Many thanks for your help Sandover (talk) 23:03, 25 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Rahat (Talk * Contributions)06:35, 1 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, can you tell me why I am currently blocked indefinitely on bn.WP? The only edit I made there was a request for deletion on a page created by a know en.WP sockpuppet. I did that because I have User:Jni's talkpage on my watchlist and wanted to help, you can find the context here: User_talk:Jni#this_spammer. Of course you can also checkuser me if you want. |FDMS10:27, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I removed the block. I have no words to properly revile myself for such an astonishing lack of awareness. I... really do not know what to say, because there is nothing to say.I will do whatever is necessary to answer for this shocking error, and I will accept whatever consequences there may be. Please don't feel too bad. Have a good day. --NahidSultan (talk) 11:39, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much for your quick response, as long as there is no block on my CentralAuth everything is fine. I can understand that sometimes when dealing with sockpuppetry you (and any other admin) rather decide to block one one-edit account too many than one sockpuppet too few, which I have no problems with as long as such non-sockpuppets have the chance to get unblocked. There would only be problems if you didn't speak english, which is fortunately not the case. Thanks again, FDMS12:14, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, you can't use A7 on schools or other educational establishments. They can be tagged for copyvio or spam if appropriate, but for notability it has to be PROD or AfD. I've prodded it, but it'll probably go to AfD. Peridon (talk) 17:41, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
File Mover Right
I have granted file mover rights to your account following either a request for those rights or a clear need for the ability to move files. For information on the file mover rights and under what circumstances it is okay to move files, see Wikipedia:File mover. When you move a file please ensure that you change the links to the file to the new name. If you do not want file mover rights anymore, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. FYI
Elizabeth Taylor, actress was in Butterfly 8 a movie that was filmed in Haverstraw in the1960's.
Also, many well known people from Stony Point and surrounding area took to train from Haverstraw to Manhattan ie Mich Miller the tv personality and band leader of the 1940's '50 and '60.
There was a large Italian population there.
Thanks for your work at remembering an important time.
In order to celebrate it's 10 year Bengali Wikipedia has arranged a photography contest at Wikimedia Commons. It is scheduled to, start at 1 September 2014 00:00 (UTC) and end at 31 October 2014 00:00 (UTC). We welcome you participate there. Hoping to see you at the contest . Thanks.
I have edited Aymeric Sallin's page to comply with the Manual of Style. Despite the changes the banner requesting for changes is still there. I was wondering if you could help getting rid of it?
Many thanks for your help!
After reviewing your request for the account creator right, I have enabled the flag on your account. Keep in mind these things:
The account creator right removes the limit on the maximum number of new accounts that can be created in a 24-hour period.
The account creator right is not a status symbol. If it remains unused, it is likely to be removed. Abuse of the account creator right will result in its removal by an administrator.
If you no longer require the right, let me know, or ask any other administrator. Drop a note if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of the account creator right. Happy editing! — xaosfluxTalk17:21, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Images in wikipedia, unused
Hi, I was advised to contact you about some images that were uploaded to the EN wikipedia, but most are not used there. They generally have inadequate information, but some at least appear to be good-faith photos that could perhaps be moved to Commons. Could you advise? The complete list is here.
I wonder whether this is fair use, and it is currently linked from a wikipedia page.
Hi Sminthopsis84, Thanks for letting me know. I'll be more than happy to help.
This image is obviously not fall under fair use criterion or any other CC license criterion because we don't know the source of each image that they were used to generate the whole image into one. We also don't know who are the authors of those images and what license they used. So it should be deleted anyway.
District locator maps always should have proper information like this one. Say, What is the original image source of your creation. I also don't think those two images are entirely self created. They should not be deleted on the basis of redundant, a discussion would be a better solution whether they should be deleted or moved to commons.
I agree with you that rest of the files appear to be good-faith uploads. Therefore I'll add info template to all of them and prepare for moving to commons. Regards. ~ Nahid Talk17:53, 20 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I've taken action about the maps as you suggest, and the more drastic action that you suggest for the composite image. It will be nice to get those cleared up. Sminthopsis84 (talk) 18:12, 20 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
From my experience, it's best if you simply used {{Not done}} as is, instead of adding a custom message to it (e.g. {{Not done}}). Otherwise, the bot responsible for archiving those requests won't recognize the fact that the request was declined, and thus I have to archive the requests manually. --I am k6kaTalk to me!See what I have done00:22, 18 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Moving Chittagong to Chattogram in historical articles
Please do not rename Historical articles with Chittagong in them to Chattogram. These incidents are referred to in history/other literature and that name should remain. If you wish to rename them, then please open a rename discussion. Further renames will be considered disruptive. Thanks. Adamgerber80 (talk) 14:13, 2 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Adamgerber80: I don't agree with you. According to your argument, every Dhaka related historical events that occurred before 1982 should be named as 'Dacca'? I don't think so. Anyways, Since you object, I'll start talk page discussion before moving the name of any historical articles related to Chittagong. ~ NahidTalk14:34, 2 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This is a little bit ridiculous. I've prior experience working on riot pages and I know how fraught they can get so I figured neutral eyes would come in handy. I have no real prior connection to Bangladesh and am only currently bringing myself up to speed on the political situation on the ground. I have expressed skepticism about the WP:NPOV quality of a frequently cited source on talk, but, come on, that's what talk is for. It's not like I've gone in and whole-cloth deleted sources or anything. In fact, as I am relatively new to the specific subject matter I'm trying to act with considerable restraint. I'd caution Logan11111112 about attempting to dogpile editors who are operating in good faith by going into what the hope to be the talkspaces of friendly editors. Thank you for your work on Bangladeshi election articles, but your recent change to Tangail-1 does not appear to follow consensus for constituency articles and has been reverted.
No problem. If my explanation made sense to you, I'd appreciate it if you would have a word with new user AshiqJamesBond. They are making widespread bold changes to constituency articles along the same lines as your edit. I reverted them twice over the past couple days, and have left two messages on their talk page, but they have been unresponsive and are continuing to disrupt the constituency articles.
When various editors created the first Bangladeshi constituency articles several years ago, they followed the pattern of UK constituency articles. I've continued to follow the UK pattern because no other constituencies articles have been rated as highly (WP:GA) by the community, and I want all Bangladesh-related articles to be as good as possible. Other countries, such as Australia, follow the same pattern, but I'm open to discussing alternative ways of presenting the information. --Worldbruce (talk) 17:50, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Worldbruce, Sorry it took me a while. I've talked with several Bengali Wikipedia users and readers from Bangladesh. Almost all of them feel that the table is somewhat confusing. While I understand that those tables are for MPs not for elections but the readers I've spoken said, they thought that the list is incomplete. To avoid the confusion, I'd suggest that we could either leave a clarification note somewhere in 'Members of Parliament' section or if a Member won more then one election, we could add all the years in the box next to their name. What would be your recommendation? ~ NahidTalk16:56, 7 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Parliamentary constituencies
Hello Nahid, Ashiq here. I think it will be difficult to understand for the most of Bangladeshi people. That's why I mentioned all the MPs for the all the election whether their consecutive or nor. For example If a MP is elected for three consecutive times and mentioned only once, Bangladeshi people won't be able to understand that he is also elected for the next two times. They will think that there must be some information gap.
Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. One article doesn't have references that doesn't mean that we should create other similar articles without references. One wrong thing doesn't justify another wrongdoing. I was going through the Bengali page of Bibliography of books defending Islam that's when I saw the English page. It is irrelevant that I didn't add tags on the other one. ~ NahidTalk12:18, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello NahidSultan. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Liter of Light Bangladesh, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not unambiguously promotional. Thank you. GedUK09:22, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Ged UK: well, The article has been created by the founder of that organization it seems. The account is globally locked for paid editing. Moreover, all those sources are trivial and REFBOOMB. Best,~ NahidTalk13:42, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't realise the account had been locked, there's nothing on the talk page. It doesn't necessarily follow that a paid editor would write a unambigously promotional article, and generally I felt that this one wasn't that bad. Whether the sources are trivial or not is not really for CSD to assess; certainly some are there as references to news stories that don't cover the company, but most of them do, to some degree. I think this needs to go to AfD. Sorry. GedUK19:55, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Pakutia Public School and College, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Please see the school article guidelines which describes how the content of school articles should be organized, with the aim of providing general guidance to editors - stubs are to be avoided. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
