Line scoring in 1947 Rose Bowl articleThe best place to start with an edict such as replacing Convert or PAT with kick is the Wikipedia:WikiProject College football/Style Guide. I see your point with the edits to the 1947 Rose Bowl article. However the original terminology was taken from the UCLA Football media guide. Thanks Much, Group29 (talk) 00:27, 2 September 2009 (UTC) Cyrillic rendering of Russian namesI have noticed that you have deleted Cyrillic names from a few Soviet politicians. Having the names of foreign people in the native scripts is standard in Wiki. It is quite useful as the transliteration rules are quite tricky (check WP:RUS as an example). I have reverted your change. Please do not delete the info again unless you get some consensus on talk pages Alex Bakharev (talk) 04:31, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
February 2010Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Mikhail Gorbachev has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 03:07, 10 February 2010 (UTC) RE: I cannot believe...A few notes:
NamesPlease do not remove original names from biographies (in their native languages). Maybe they don't show up in your browser, but this would be unusual and would be a local problem. Their English transliterations are often awkward, not widely accepted, or just plain wrong. Materialscientist (talk) 22:34, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
Who are you, and no I will not, because it is substandard referencial and encyclopedic paractice. I own two Encyclopedia Brittanicas and I have read several other editions of both EB and other encyclodepias, and this useless convention appears nowhere. Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Please stopSeveral editors have explained that the removal cyrillic rendering of Russian names runs counter to Wikipedia convention. I do not want to block you as you have stopped doing this after a final warning. However, you have stated that you will not stop. If you resume this activity, I will block you. Please find something constructive to occupy your time here. Thanks Tiderolls 09:15, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

AN/I noticeHello. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Tiderolls 00:07, 12 August 2010 (UTC) Please stop You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for continuing to delete non-English rendering of names against convention and without discussion.. NCDane (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log)) Request reason: blocked for deleted pharsee text in article about person born in US, Canadian and or US citizen, resident North America all his life except for 1-2 years as child. Foreign language text imo therefore uncalled for and edit/delete appropriate Decline reason: Wikipedia operates by WP:Consensus. There is no support for your view that the English-language Wikipedia should not contain references in other scripts and languages. You have been warned, and blocked, before for removing them; the present block is a lenient one, and if you continue the next is likely to be indefinite. JohnCD (talk) 11:40, 29 August 2010 (UTC) If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked. I don't think that's accurate. You have been blocked for this and this. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 10:49, 29 August 2010 (UTC) October 2010I have reverted your deletion of non-English content here. This deletion, along with your dedication to drawing the line, make it appear that you continue to resist editing according to established guidelines and convention. Please, if you feel so strongly about the issue, take your concerns to the proper venue. Discussion is the method of change here. Tiderolls 00:30, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
I've reverted your edits to this article to restore the images and replace the article name in the info box. Again, if you are dissatisfied with the guidelines as they exist take your concerns to the proper forums. Tiderolls 05:57, 15 November 2010 (UTC) I will not warn you again
Hello, NCDane. You have new messages at Tide rolls's talk page. You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template. Tiderolls 00:04, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
Blocked indefinitely
For the time being I have unblocked the account as your last edits on the subject were to talk pages. I will not, however, hesitate to reblock if you edit war over this in future on any page. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward: not at work) - talk 12:26, 27 December 2010 (UTC) August 2011Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at User talk:TonyTheTiger. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 04:14, 22 August 2011 (UTC) Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on User talk:TonyTheTiger. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. Thank you. My76Strat (talk) 04:22, 22 August 2011 (UTC) Please stop removing the name in cyrillic script of Vladimir Vetrov as you have done several times earlier. You have been banned before for such actions. If you continue, you will be reported to the moderators. If you have a problem with scripts other than the latin script, start a discussion to change the policy of the English language wikipedia instead of removing such script from individual articles. - Takeaway (talk) 04:01, 29 August 2011 (UTC) Stop removing text in other scripts than latin script from articlesStop removing text written in scripts other than the latin script from articles such as you have done with Vladimir Vetrov, Seljuq dynasty, Irene of Athens and probably countless other articles that I haven't detected. As I have written before, if you have a problem with this, start a discussion on wikipedia policy instead of sneakily removing such script from articles. Also refrain from indiscriminately changing non-English language links in to English language links if that breaks the link to a legitimate article such as you have done to the articles German submarine U-550 and Ilya Muromets. - Takeaway (talk) 07:16, 21 September 2011 (UTC) This is your last warning. The next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - Takeaway (talk) 07:20, 21 September 2011 (UTC) Font sizeNCDane, the changes to font size that you made at Mike Krzyzewski and NCAA Men's Division I Final Four appearances by coaches are highly irregular and at odds with basic style practices on Wikipedia. If you want to pursue such changes, please discuss them first at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject College Basketball or some other appropriate forum. Let me know if you have questions. I'm happy to help. Thanks. Jweiss11 (talk) 15:49, 14 October 2011 (UTC) WarningIf you write a summary such as the one here (now deleted) again, I will block you. Such behaviour is offensive and totally unacceptable; you should know better. PeterSymonds (talk) 22:32, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
