Hello MurieMary, Thank you for reviewing my article. I will add my sources, as you indicate. I accidentally submitted it last night before finishing it, and did not know how to undo that. Hello! Thanks for your response, MurielMary. I've put in some further evidence to show that Von Tang is an up-and-coming fashion designer. (1) She is garnering recognition gradually in reputable fashion magazines. (2) Most recently her work was featured in VOGUE, (3) she did win second place just behind China's famous Guo Pei during Singapore Fashion Week 2016, and (4) her bespoke design has made it to the Met Gala in 2016, worn by Nicole Shanahan, the Google Founder Sergey Brin's wife. Regarding Katherine Haataja, on the Hannikainen Family website she appears in the family tree drawing on the right side, last on the branch, under her second name Elina born 1969. The parents names match the information available in public records. Obviously it is an old drawing, but she is most certainly included. In my research on Finnish Wikipedia I also found more relatives of female composer Ann-Elise Hannikainen whom I would like to include in the English Wikipedia. Dear MurielMary, thank you for you time and suggestions, and could you possibly have a look once again on the Draft:Yulia Kuzmenko. The entry has been significantly extended to represent Kuzmenko herself as much as possible. It is hard to separate completely Yulia’s biography from her current ordeal (arrest and incarceration) – obviously a life-changing event.

You write “an article <should be> written about the trial”. Your suggestion is worthwhile, and judicial side of her case does need an analysis and publicity. But at the moment it is scarcely possible, since 1) authorities are procrastinating the trial, and 2) prosecution is secretive with their materials.

However, there's an interesting lady, Fanny Fantham, who you might be interested in adding. Fanthams Peak on Mount Taranaki was named after her. She wss the first woman to climb it, and she worked in munitions factory and as a nurse in England in WW1. Hello! Based on your suggestions, I have refined the sources for Purdah by removing the IMDB and Amazon citations, and by including some others. There is currently a primary source citation to the website of the Oscar-qualifying Cinequest Film Festival that verifies that Purdah premiered there. There is also a citation of the article about the film's world premiere on the notable film trade publication, Screen Anarchy, in addition to a citation of the film's write up in PRWeb about the film's Los Angeles premiere at the famous Chinese Theatres in Hollywood. I've also listed some of the film's festival awards and nominations as well. There's also links to several positive reviews from recognized film critics who are some of the select few approved Rotten Tomatoes film critics. I'm new to wikipedia publishing and a little confused as to what would qualify? There are links to articles about the artist in Forbes Magazine, Bomb Magazine, Interview Magazine and a review of a group show that mentions the artist in The New York Times as well as links to significant exhibitions at major venues like Hauser and Wirth and The Aldrich Museum. Having reviewed other artist wikipedia pages, it's unclear to me why this page is being rejected. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also-do you advise listing print publications for which there are no web links? (i.e. Modern Painters Magazine etc).

Hi there, Muriel - it's some time since we have been in touch but I always appreciate your recognition of my stats on WiR. Inspired by David Eppstein's Category:Native American women academics, I thought it might be useful to have Category:New Zealand Māori women academics. I have tried to populate it as best I can but I am not at all sure all the names are those of women (here I often relied on Wikidata) or that I have added all the names of women who should be included. Good work User:Ipigott! I've written about every female prof in New Zealand (or all that I can find) and additional written about every Māori and Pacifica prof in the country. Most of these articles have my fingerprints on them so the lack of the category is probably my fault, I should have created it before. There's some complexity here separating ethnic Cook Islanders from Māori people, I don't usually add people to the Māori cats until I've found an attribution to an iwi / hapu. I also write gendered-pronoun free biographies, so quickly sorting articles into gendered cats may be slower than it might be, sorry. It's also worth noting that there are people like Karl Pulotu-Endemann who don't fit well into cats like these. (Thanks for the notification User:MurielMary.) New article on Christchurch's residential red zone

Kia ora and hello! I am writing to you because you are a Wikipedian from Christchurch, who has edited the Christchurch Wikipedia meetup. I have just finished creating a new article for Christchurch's residential red zone following the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes. However, I am an American who has never visited New Zealand, let alone Christchurch, so I would find it helpful for Wikipedians from Christchurch to look over this article. In particular, I am hoping that someone will be able to contribute an image of the zone after demolition and removal of the houses that were there, especially an aerial image.

Thank you! I am an urban planning student with an interest in natural disaster preparation and recovery, so I saw this article as a hole that I could fill on Wikipedia.

Suggesting that there "just isn't any evidence of notability" and making PROD/speedy nominations displays a worrying lack of understanding of WP:NACTOR and notability guidelines in general for someone approving or declining AfC drafts. However, as I've already stated, neither this page nor the talk page of the PROD project are the appropriate places to discuss the quality of the article and the person's notability. I am still trying to get an appropriate page for the discussion to take place on and meanwhile you are mocking me in quite an inappropriate way. I take exception to the repeated mocking tone that you are using in your messages to me e.g. "you're a comedian" and "in what universe". This tone is not the appropriate tone for one editor to another and I hope you will desist from continuing to use it either with me or with other editors. I find your attitude rude, condescending, patronising, accusatory (you seem to be convinced that I am incompetent, saying that I "attempt" to judge notability, that I'm "completely unfamiliar with processes" for example) and unbecoming of a longstanding WP editor like yourself. Your comments are also inaccurate, as my actions have not been "reverted by multiple editors" (two doe not equal multiple, particularly when one of them is yourself). Your behaviour is not at all helpful in building a community of editors. I suggest you do some reading on the meaning of "good faith" and Wikipedia:Civility as you have not demonstrated any of these values tonight; in fact you have not even acknowledged that your edit summary on the article, and your initial response on the PROD talk page, were utterly rude and uncivil. At WP:AFC, you're in a unique position to bite newbies if you so choose, and declining and then, when contradicted by another editor, repeatedly trying to delete an article that is an extremely clear pass for WP:NACTOR ensures that their first experience of Wikipedia is a bad one despite having done all the right things. That's really not helpful to building a community of editors. I always try to be helpful to people who are generally trying to do the right thing, but I return jerkish behaviour to sender. (talk page stalker) The Polish Wikipedia is very different than the English one, and the two have different rules about things. I do not edit the Polish Wikipedia, for I cannot speak Polish, but I imagine that it may have different sourcing criteria than we do. The English Wikipedia is fairly rigid in sourcing guidelines, while in my extremely limited experience with other wikis not all have the same rules in the same places. Could you please re-review the submission regarding Odette Wilen. It has been 'rejected' by a different reviewer claiming 'Wiki is not a place for Memorial Pages'. This is far more than a 'memorial'. I was doing historical research on refeeding syndrome when I learned she OW was the only one of 39 women SOE agents from Section F who did not have her wiki bio in English, so I did some more reading and put one together. It is now referenced to many historical citations. Is the other reviewer correct? Many male SOE agents have wiki bios and achieved less. Thank you for your time. Gdoig

Daria Usacheva

Could you please take one more look at Draft:Daria Usacheva and Daria Usacheva? You declined the draft at least twice, out of four declines of the draft, and the declines were stripped off the draft (and they say not to strip them off the draft), which appears to be a clear case of gaming the system. An article is now in article space. It doesn't appear that she yet satisfies skating notability. She is much closer to it than she was when you reviewed the draft, but her medals are still all at the junior level, which isn't in the scope of the guideline. However, I think that a before deletion search finds that she is famous for being famous as a young teenage skater, and that is enough for general notability. I don't like general notability, which is too subjective and winds up with arguments at Deletion Review, but it is policy. I don't like the fact that the sports notability guidelines and most of the other special notability guidelines contain language deferring to GNG, saying that a candidate who passes the special notability guideline is usually assumed to pass general notability. That winds up with arguments between the special notability guideline and general notability at DRV. But that is the way that the guidelines are written. However, this seems to be a real case where an article on an athlete should be accepted based on general notability. What do you think? Robert McClenon (talk) 17:37, 21 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am working on this draft and DGG mentioned the issues with the draft about WP:PEACOCK. It was quite clear and I made a cleanup. What I've understand till now is that it doesn't pass WP:GNG for now. I'd like your suggestion about this. The subject falls under the category British spiritual writers and I tried to follow the same pattern other pages in the category follow. Few examples are William Bloom, Cher Chevalier and Cassandra Eason. Most of the references they have are either their books or articles written by them.

@Chris.sherlock: a specific link to the post where I was "complaining" would be helpful here.
In the case of Fiona Balfour, Category:Australian women business executives is a non-diffusing subcategory of Category:Australian business executives (because gender subcategories are non-diffusing of their gender-neutral parents) so the article belongs in both of those categories. My "complaint" (Wikipedia:Australian Wikipedians' notice board#Australian women categories, User talk:Chris.sherlock/Archive 2#WP:SUBCAT, User talk:Mitch Ames#Stop!) is regarding inclusion in both subcategory and parent when the subcategory is diffusing the parent on some non-gender criteria, e.g. "writers" (example) or "actresses" (example). I checked it this morning and was quite shocked that Dalziel was on it (i.e. didn't already have an article) as she's a very distinguished NZ historian; so decided to rectify that right away and start her bio! She's quite a private person, there's not much online about her (where she was born/raised/educated etc). Re Level 3, yes and no - husband and oldest son will be able to go to work, but that means I'm working at home + supervising the other two with their online high school lessons so I will probably be even busier! Regarding your opinion that writing books and appearing in radio and TV shows does not equal notability, I completely agree. Compared to other writers, Carmen Harra has books in the Library of American Congress, a performance desired by any book author. This woman is known in the world due to her multiple careers: she was a singer in communist Romania, then she became a writer in the USA. Her books are published by major publishers and there are international editions of the books. Please consider when assessing the degree of notability that a woman fled the communist regime, arrived in the most important country in the world, and managed to publish 6 books in the Library of Congress. I appreciate Wikipedia because here I find relevant and verified information about people who have performed in various fields of activity. When I created this draft, I wanted to enrich Wikipedia articles. In a virtual world of social media platforms where only followers and likes establish "notability", I am convinced that Wikipedia remains a landmark of real, tangible objectivity. The Child's Bath

The Child's Bath is an 1893 oil-on-canvas painting by American artist Mary Cassatt. She was born in Allegheny City, Pennsylvania (now part of Pittsburgh's North Side), but lived much of her adult life in France, where she first befriended Edgar Degas and later exhibited among the Impressionists.

This painting depicts a mother figure and a young child, a genre scene based on the everyday activity of bathing a small child. Cassatt was heavily influenced in her work by some of her fellow Impressionist peers, especially Degas. Hi there! This is a question regarding the draft entry for Esther Forman Singer (November 30).

We are trying to address the issue that all the materials we can find online are hidden behind academic or corporate paywalls. Thanks to a research librarian colleague we have three published articles in American Artist, plus a bio of her in the American Artists "Contributors" section, and a "Who's Who In American Artists 2006". Since links to those sources take you to a login, we tried the route of uploading the materials to the official site. It is ok to just link to the paywalled sources? We are trying to do everything right by Wiki rules and practices, but the lack of publicly visible info on Esther Forman Singer is literally the issue we are trying to address. Adriaen van Ostade

Adriaen van Ostade (1610–1685) was a Dutch Golden Age painter. He was a prolific artist, and is best known for his genre art, with scenes or events from everyday life, such as markets, domestic settings, interiors, parties, inn scenes, and street scenes.

This oil-on-panel painting, dating to between 1650 and 1655, is entitled The De Goyer family and the painter; Ostade is shown standing on the right. The other people depicted are the seated Hendrick de Goyer, steward of Heemstede; his future wife Anna Questiers, in pink; and her sister, the poet Catharina Questiers, in the centre, perhaps reading one of her poems. The painting is in the collection of the Museum Bredius in The Hague.

Hi, MurielMary! I've fixed all the pending issues of identification for Michelle Penelope King (a preferred name for the Wikipedia article because her full name distinguishes her very well from other Wikipedia pages associated with "Michelle King" for other people. Changes made: 1) I removed the wrong link for her "husband" in the Infobox - I virtually checked and verified every citation once again and that was the only wrong one. Obviously, I removed the wrong information from the Infobox 2) It is clear, that she is an author of the books in the "Publication" section, so it makes her easier top identify her - all her articles, books etc related to women and gender equality and also her occupation as Director of inclusion. 3) I couldn't not to establish her origin (not South Africa and not New Zeland) but it is confirmed that she studied and worked as Journalist in New Zeland by the links in the page(you can see her photo in the article - the same person but younger). Hi Nikki, if she has a song which is a theme song for a notable show (is Blood and Water notable?) then that would meet criteria #10. However it looks like that is the only criteria she meets, so I don't think she meets the criteria for a WP article, sorry. Touring internationally is not on the list of criteria for notability. Hallo MurielMary, I saw your comment at Wikipedia_talk:Disambiguation#When_to_start_a_DAB_page?. I added the three of them to the surname page at King (surname), but for the journalist I wasn't sure what nationality to put for her as the article doesn't mention it. I see you've done quite a lot of work on the article: could you add a nationality to the lead sentence? I guess she's from New Zealand (first degree, and your own field of interest) but there's no nationality or birthplace mentioned. Hi there, yes you can use sources which are not online in the article, sure. Are you using Visual Editor to edit, or "edit source"? If you use Visual Editor, and choose "add citation" then "book" you will get a screen with blank fields which you can fill with the relevant information for a book. Hope that helps! Sunday 6 September: Blackball

Welcome to the West Coast Wikipedian at Large project! This is your first weekly postcard with updates on what's been happening and ideas for things to do. • Yesterday I drove from Nelson to Blackball down the Inangahua River valley, taking plenty of photos (see my uploads), through Lyell, New Creek, Inangahua Junction (sic), Oweka, Rotokahu, Larrys Creek, Cronadun, Waitahu, and Reefton to visit the museum in Blacks Point, then on to Formerly the Blackball Hilton. Lots of these places need an article, improvements, or photos. • Inangahua is actually three localities: Inangahua Landing, Inangahua Junction (munted by the 1968 earthquake), and Inanguahua proper where most people live – the article's a bit confused. • This week I'll be in Greymouth giving a talk to heritage folks and another to tourism operators, and running an edit-a-thon on Saturday. It would be great for people to take a look at the Grey District library system who'll be hosting the edit-a-thon and see what Wikidata coverage is like. Libraries and museums are on the Art page of the project. • I had a really good Afghan in Reefton (right) and realised the article is terrible. Research needed! My submission for draft:amber ardolino was rejected saying that the submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a wikipedia article, meanwhile I have seen a couple wikipedia articles of people with less references that exist. I'm sure the references can be checked first to see that the subject does in fact qualify for a wikipedia article as there are a few article for reference on the subject. Thank you!

Happening to look in here, it matters a little what the references say: Your lead paragraph says: she starred in several musicals in Broadway, but she did not: she had a named role in only one-- in the others, she was a member of the ensemble or an understudy. .Similarly on television. At this stage of her career, she will not get a genuine review significant enough to show herself notable. And dn fact, all there is there in the way of references in mentions. There are many hundred thousand articles in WP accepted in earlier years when the standards were lower that we need to either upgrade or remove. The least we can do is not add to them.

What you need to do is make a declaration on the draft page that there is no coi monetary or otherwise, and let me know on my user page. I will then revaluate. If there is no coi you are not required to say how you came to write the article, but it wouldn;t hurt to indicate somethign--but try to avoid saying just who you are---if you are not a coi editor, you have the right to anonymity. Sunday 14 September: Greymouth

Hello all from Greymouth! There are now a dozen of you from Australia and New Zealand signed up to help, which is wonderful. • The last week has seem some great work, especially from Schwede66, MurielMary, and DrThneed, busily creating categories, stubs, and some really nice articles like Hokitika Clock Tower • This last week I'll been in Greymouth, and gave a talk to the library staff, spoke to half a dozen tourism operators, and had a great edit-a-thon on Saturday, where the partcipants were so keen they organised another one in two weeks! • Check out Axel's reorganisation of the Greymouth category and see if there are photos that need articles. • The Greymouth article needs work, a gallery of historic buildings, and more references from news media and books. • Plenty of old buildings in the list to work on • Siobhan wants Wikidata for all NZ reserves, and I would like all tracks and walkways in Wikidata too, like the Rapahoe Range Scenic Reserve and Elizabeth Point Walkway – I took a bunch of photos there yesterday • Some of our new articles have been flagged (wrongly) because there weren't enough references yet; not to worry, but help if you can. I'm digging through local archives here for good sources. Here's a Google drive of local news stories by the way. • There'll be lots more photos going up in the next week so watch this space. A quick question, before I do anything wrong. As I indicated on Draft talk:Alicia Luna, I translated this article from the Spanish Wikipedia. Would I be allowed to use the Spanish original as a reference (by adding a footnote)? I thought I could not add new inline citations if they are not present in the Spanish original. There are now references (links) to 8 substantial articles dedicated exclusively to Carole Alexis and her work and to 4 videos of news programs dedicated exclusively to Carole Alexis and her work. These 12 independent publications are based on independent journalistic research and/or on interviews with Carole Alexis and/or on attendance of live performances of her work. Almost all publications feature visual and/or audio-visual documentation (photos, video recordings) of the work of Carole Alexis. I would respectfully like to ask you to review these references (links) and let me know whether I can resubmit the article on Carole Alexis for inclusion in Wikipedia on this basis. Hi from Westport! The ridiculously nice weather has largely continued. According to Wikipedia the Holcim cement works is here, but I'm pretty sure it closed in 2016. Work needed on that article! • One result of appearing on Seven Sharp is that Tourism New Zealand and the Glacier tourism folks are now interested in chatting. Watch this space, I may be headed south soon. • MurielMary and DrThneed have been helping with the West Coast artists list, many thanks – I may have more print sources for bios. The Yvonne Rust book is good. • There's been some great teamwork this past week, with Canley and Schwede66 sorting out all the West Coast heritage buildings in Wikidata without photos, and me running round Westport with my camera taking pics of them. • About half the Stewart Nimmo photos are uploaded, and keep an eye on my uploads for more. Look for inventive uses: I added one to the selfie article. • I'll be working on Denniston Plateau, the Westport News, Becky Manawatu, EPIC Westport, the Kawatiri Coastal Trail, Granity, and Barrytown; all help appreciated. • This week I have a few more days at Westport and will do a day trip to Granity, then down to Hokitika on Friday for 10 days to work with the Museum and heritage groups. Greetings from sunny Hokitika! The fine weather I've had for the last few weeks finally broke and it's been driving hail and wind today. • Last week in Westport was fun, talking to many local historians and photographers, and the Westport News (rewritten article) • Saturday I ran a workshop in Hokitika, yesterday a second one in Greymouth. One newbie improved the Dave McKenzie (runner) article and squealed when her changes showed up instantly in Google. Another ran out to take photos of the Pioneers' Memorial (right), and Schwede66 created an article that very night • This week I'd love help with Hokitika-area articles: sculptures of Hokitika, buildings of Hokitika, Guy Menzies, Hokitika Guardian (am meeting them tomorrow to get better sources), whitebait (the NZ aspect), Kaniere, Lake Kaniere, pounamu, Lake Mahinapua, Hokitika Gorge, The Luminaries, and the Hokitika River. This is a list brainstormed with the locals at the workshop, heartily recommend • There are more photos by Stewart Nimmo of Lake Brunner and Reefton (including the artist Alison Hale (Q99304897), who's on our list. • It would be super helpful of somebody to look at the Hokitika area on WikiShootMe and check the locations of rivers, hills, etc against NZ Topo Map or the NZGB Gazetteer. • Dr Thneed wanted a photo through the altar window of St James Church, Franz Josef, and that same day Paora supplied one. Kia ora from Hokitika! Tomorrow I pack up the car and head to Greymouth to present to Development West Coast our previous month's work, before heading south • Yes, Glacier Country are supplying accommodation in south Westland – Ōkārito, Franz Josef, and Fox – for the next two weeks. Possibly because I mouthed off to the media that Fox Glacier's entry is so short who would want to stay there? • So this week it's Ōkārito (splitting the article into settlement and lagoon), kōtuku, spoonbills, the West Coast Wildlife Centre (Q99767675), rowi, Franz Josef glacier (and NZ glacier photos in general glacier articles), historic buildings thereabouts, etc • I uploaded lots of Stewart Nimmo photos of the Haast area, and have some Paparoa ones by Jase Blair coming soon. • Pakoire noticed that Fayne Robinson (Q99836010) needs an article – can we collaborate on one? He's def notable and we need more coverage of Māori from the Coast. • Also women: see the Westland women in the WikiProject Hokitika Museum Google doc and Hokitika Museum Google drive. • Last week I wrote or improved articles about Hokitika Museum, Lake Kaniere, History House Museum, Lake Mahinapua, and Westland District Library. Gidday from Franz Josef/Waiau! Deserted tourist town, everything's a bit pricey, but there are kea circling over the main street which makes up for a lot • I just spent three days in Ōkārito, wrote articles about pakihi and Ōkārito lagoon, and took/was given a lot of photos of Kōtuku and hiking trails. A dearth of printed sources on Ōkārito but there are enough photos and info to make at least sections/galleries for buildings like Donovan's Store (Q79300924), Ōkārito School (Q79303038), and Ōkārito Obelisk (Q79309599) on its article • There are too many photos of Franz Josef glacier! It would be great to make a curated gallery of the most useful ones on its Commons page. Also finding and uploading good photos from DigitalNZ and the Macmillan Brown A. C. Graham Collection would help heaps • Local heritage sites that need articles: the Hendes Gallery, Defiance Hut, Chancellor Hut • I'll be spending Tuesday in the West Coast Wildlife Centre, looking at baby kiwi and improving Haast Tokoeka and Rowi articles • Great to see a new Fayne Robinson article from Pakoire, and Maida Bryant from MurielMary; Paora's been beavering away on lists of mayors • Housekeeping: do reach out to any of the team for a hand if some random editor knocks you back or makes trouble. Friday 23 October:Reefton

Kia ora koutou from Reefton! • We're in the last few days of the project, so time to wrap up loose ends. • Most of the last week I was based in in Fox Glacier, organising photo uploads from Fox Glacier Guiding of the glacier itself and Chancellor Hut, check them out • I've also photographed hiking trails and worked on articles about the West Coast Wildlife Centre, Lake Gault and Lake Matheson • Here in Reefton I'm improving the article about the town, have found info on the Inangahua County Library for DrThneed, and am writing about the Reefton Distillery • There are photos of all of Reeftons's historic buildings (and I've added a few), but no articles about the Reefton Courthouse or the Reefton School of Mines, and the Reefton Power Station article could do with work • Since I last wrote DrThneed has been hard at work on libraries, there's a nice Donovan's Store article from Gertrude206, much-needed improvements to pounamu by Pakoire, and Paora's been super-industrious with historic buildings but most importantly managed to produce a photo of the giant sandfly of Pukekura • Housekeeping: I'm sending out prizes kindly donated by Development West Coast and Friends of Waiuta to those of you who've worked hardest on the project, so if I ask for a postal address that's why. But even if you just signed up to get these postcards, that's fine too! • Thank you all for making a wonderful project work; I've never coordinated a team effort like this, and I think it's potentially a model for other edit-a-thons. Year in review

It has been a productive year for New Page Patrol as we've roughly cut the size of the New Page Patrol queue in half this year. We have been fortunate to have a lot of great work done by Rosguill who was the reviewer of the most pages and redirects this past year. Thanks and credit go to JTtheOG and Onel5969 who join Rosguill in repeating in the top 10 from last year. Thanks to John B123, Hughesdarren, and Mccapra who all got the NPR permission this year and joined the top 10. Also new to the top ten is DannyS712 bot III, programmed by DannyS712 which has helped to dramatically reduce the number of redirects that have needed human patrolling by patrolling certain types of redirects (e.g. for differences in accents) and by also patrolling editors who are on on the redirect whitelist.

Hi, MurielMary. I'm a little confused as to why this author isn't considered "worthy" of a Wikipedia page. Your reason provided — that there need to be more "published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject" — isn't logical. There are already 13 references, which is more than double the amount given for her male husband, Andrew Shaffer, who has long had a page. Are the requirements higher for women than they are for men? How many sources are enough?

Or is it the quality of the sources linked? Are outlets like NPR, Los Angeles Times, and Marie Claire — all of which are referenced in the entry — not considered "reliable" by Wikipedia?

Quick note to follow up: Since posting I saw in your bio that you are likely not in the United States. National Public Radio (NPR) is a HIGHLY respected national news outlet here. Hi, a couple of points to make here. 1, note the instruction on the submission review template which states: Please do not remove reviewer comments or this notice until the submission is accepted. You deleted my review decision and reason, so I have re-instated it. 2, sources for a biography need to be in-depth sources which focus on the person and their achievements. Some of the sources provided only mention Reisz in passing e.g. the one from The Loop is an article on the genre and has short paragraphs about six different books, of which Reisz's is one. So that doesn't qualify as an in-depth source focusing on her. It's not really a question of "how many sources are enough", it's more a matter of "how specific and how in-depth are the sources". Hi, Muriel. Not sure if I was supposed to, but I did not receive any notice you had responded. Just an FYI I manually visited your page after I saw and had responded to your other edits, etc. I appreciate your response, but it feels HIGHLY subjective. I don't know if you're a writer (I am, which is why I'm familiar with RITA, LAMBDA, and other literary awards). To have an article that's only on your book and five others is pretty darn in-depth. Authors long for that type of coverage. Also, that's only one example. Out of what is now 15 sources provided on the page. Again, I ask: There are hundreds of entries about male authors on Wikipedia that provide less than half the sources provided at Tiffany Reisz, including the entry on her husband! Is the bar higher for entries about women? Or is it higher for members of the LGBT community, which in my searching for more sources to please you, I discovered last night Reisz is? One of the new sources I added last night (Thrillist) is 100% focused on Reisz. Respectfully, what else are you arbitrarily expecting here?
