Athens metroHello! I love the work you've done with Athens Metro article! I am the author of File:Athens public transport map future.png, but I've forgotten my password and I can't log in. I'm generally a railway fan! Anyway, it's marvelous! --178.128.144.132 (talk) 06:53, 30 August 2012 (UTC) Yes, of course! You can go ahead and flag it! :) By the way, this is a map of line 1. What do you think?
Disambiguation link notification for September 6Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Line 3 (Athens Metro), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ambelokipi (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. DYK promotionsMarianian, thank you for your recent review of Template:Did you know nominations/Detropia. I wanted to clarify something about the DYK process: once you review a hook and approve it, as you did for this review, your job is done. The system is set up so that someone else is responsible for adding it to a prep area; indeed, it's set up that way so there's an extra layer of hook and article checking built in. People who have contributed extensively to an article, nominated it for DYK, suggested the hook, or approved the article, are not supposed to promote it to the prep area; similarly, if you suggest a new hook as part of your review, you aren't also supposed to approve it. I've removed the Detropia hook from Prep 2; in due course, it will be picked up and added to a prep area by someone who wasn't involved with the nomination. This may take several days: we currently have 115 approved hooks backlogged, and are posting them at a rate of 21 per day, just up from 16. Please let me know if you have any questions. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 16:02, 30 January 2013 (UTC) Blue TitHi Marianian: You recently removed Blue Tit from WP:AFT, saying it was "too vulnerable to abuse". However, the feedback page shows no sign of such abuse; in fact, it contains several helpful bits of feedback! Can we un-blacklist it please, unless and until it starts causing problems? Thanks! Article Feedback deploymentHey Marianian; I'm dropping you this note because you've used the article feedback tool in the last month or so. On Thursday and Friday the tool will be down for a major deployment; it should be up by Saturday, failing anything going wrong, and by Monday if something does :). Thanks, Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 23:24, 13 March 2013 (UTC) ![]() Message added 21:37, 5 April 2013 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template. NumismaticsHi Marianian- I was looking at the member list for Numismatics and saw that you have an interest in paper currency. I have a FLC Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of people on United States banknotes/archive1 that could use some more reviews. This may not be your thing at all, in which case no worries. Thanks--Godot13 (talk) 17:52, 6 April 2013 (UTC) Global cash dinar vandalThanks for picking up on this. As I look back on it, I believe I thought that one of the edits was suspicious because it was unnecessary but I did not understand the other edit. They needed to be reverted but I could not tell whether they were vandalism. I suppose if I had taken a good look at the IP's talk page, I would have found that out. The talk page often tips the balance on sly vandalism when the user has been warned about something already. Thanks again for the followup. Donner60 (talk) 19:47, 19 April 2013 (UTC) AFT5 re-enabledHey Marianian :). Just a note that the Article Feedback Tool, Version 5 has now been re-enabled. Let us know on the talkpage if you spot any bugs. Thanks! "Global cash dinar" vandalAfter successfully getting Yugoslav dinar placed on pending changes protection for one year (thanks, Darkwind), it appears that Wikipedia isn't the only wiki suffering from the "global cash dinar" vandal. So I've sent a message to some of the affected sites:
Global cash dinar vandals are already on a short leash. It does not take rocket science to prove that old Argentine and Yugoslav currency are only worth what the collector is willing to pay for, and nothing more. Archive.isRequest content removal by archive.is by clicking the "Report abuse" link on the archive.is copies of your pages, and selecting "Copyrighted material" in the form. You may wish to consider actually putting a copyright notice on your pages. If not satisfied, request DMCA takedown to archive.is directly, instead of Google. In the meantime, if you want, you can hide the archive.is archives of your pages by a) blanking your page, b) archiving the blanked page at archive.is, c) restoring your page content. There is a problem, however. Trouble is, you released the material CC-BY-NC, so it can be copied for any purpose EXCEPT commercial use - this at the moment doesn't forbid archiving by archive.is, since it's not obviously commercial, nor is it obviously non-commercial. If and when archive.is becomes commercial, your takedown notice based on CC-BY-NC will have the support of CC, in my opinion, and I'm not a lawyer. --Lexein (talk) 05:42, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
Athens transportation mapHello User:Marianian!
There are some mistakes on the map, concerning the suburban railway lines (P). There are actually three lines: --79.103.246.168 (talk) 20:56, 7 March 2014 (UTC)
For Piraeus line you have to add the stations Rouf, Pyrgos Vasilissis and Kato Acharnai...till Chalkida . And Tavros Station (which is scheduled) --2.85.161.218 (talk) 13:37, 14 June 2014 (UTC) Pumpie sockpuppetQuick question: User:Hannah Undel has edited New York City Subway articles as well as Spanish railway articles, while Pumpie edits, according to what I have seen, Greek railway articles. Has Pumpie, or any known sockpuppets edited New York subway articles before? Epicgenius (talk) 18:44, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
Zimbabwean Dollar. There will not be a fifth Zimbabwean dollar, as the use of multiple currencies will continue for the foreseeable future. The Zimbabwean Bond Coins are the closest thing to a local currency, as they have been in circulation since 18 December 2014 to fill a shortage of small change coins. - (202.89.141.109 (talk) 07:22, 15 January 2015 (UTC)) Nomination for merging of Template:BLNMT-icon
Removing your own articlesHi. Just so you know, when you accidentally create an article or otherwise want to remove a page which had no substantial contributions by anyone other than yourself, you can nominate it for speedy deletion under G7: Author requests deletion. Tagging it appropriately using one of the templates listed under G7 is the fastest way to have it removed. Thanks for your contributions!
