DYK for Women in brewingOn 3 November 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Women in brewing, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that women brewsters were the primary producers of beer before commercialization of the industry? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Women in brewing. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Women in brewing), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. I know you're taking a break from Trump-related content, and rightly so, but on the off-chance you're interested, I am currently trying to track down cities hosting Nobody Is Above the Law demonstrations. If you care to add cities/sources to the article or talk page, you're more than welcome! Either way, hope you are well and happy editing. ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:31, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
AfroCine: The Months of African Cinema Continues….Greetings! Thank you very much for signing up to participate in the Months of African Cinema global contest/edit-a-thon, and thank you for your contributions so far. It is already the middle of the contest and a lot have been achieved already! We have been able to get over 200 articles created in over seven (7) languages! The figures soars to up to a thousand, if Wikidata entries are included. Furthermore, there have been about 5 in-person gatherings of Wikipedians in different countries across the world to create articles about African(a) cinema! We are very excited about what has been achieved so far, but your contributions are still needed to further exceed all expectations! Let’s create more articles before the end of this contest, which is this November!!!
Thank you once again for being part of this global event! Kind regards.--Jamie Tubers (talk) 22:50, 10 November 2018 (UTC) TheFamousPeople.com as a sourceHi Megalibrarygirl. I noticed that you used thefamouspeople.com as a source in Annie Jump Cannon[1]. Please note that there is general consensus that thefamouspeople.com does not meet the reliable sourcing criteria for such information. (Discussions here and here). If you disagree, let's discuss it. Thanks. --Ronz (talk) 21:47, 7 November 2018 (UTC)

I am currently translating the article you initiated, Women in agriculture in Japan, (see translation ca:Dones a l'agricultura al Japó) and I thought that you might add more information to it by this journal article:
Happy Asian Month!--Hienafant (talk) 17:53, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
Yep, another one: there are some references that can be used to add more information to your initiated article Korean Women's Associations United. Take a look at ca:Associació de Dones Coreanes's references (recent news plus a chapter).--Hienafant (talk) 14:16, 10 November 2018 (UTC) Hi, I think you might be interested in this article I have seriously created in the Catalan Wikipedia (ca:Avortament al Kazakhstan). It's not a translation of Abortion in Kazakhstan. All sources are, by now, written in English. You can translate my content with the help of Google Translate. If you are interested, I would gladly offer you my help.--Hienafant (talk) 00:07, 15 November 2018 (UTC)

I've already gotten what I need from the internet. My next step is to write the LOC to see if they have any French or German bibliographic encyclopedias, but I wanted to check with you first to see if Wikipedia has those available anywhere (I just saw the Wikipedia library - WOW!!). Thanks, Aurornisxui (talk) 14:42, 24 November 2018 (UTC)
ArbCom 2018 election voter messageHello, Megalibrarygirl. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
Requesting article re-assessmentHi - I'm not sure where to direct this question, so I'm going to start with you. Earlier this year, I did some work to de-stubbify the article on Odd Girls and Twilight Lovers. Is there a place I should go or a tag I should add to have it re-assessed? I'm hoping that I've gotten it past stub. WikiProject Women's History has it rated as a high-importance stub. Any advice on either procedure for getting it reclassified or ideas about other ways to improve the article would be most welcome. Thanks! - Kenirwin/(talk) 14:16, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
December 2018 at Women in Red
Preparations for DecemberI was wondering whether you could liaise with Rosiestep on what to include for December. I remember you said a few days ago that you would be preparing the editathon pages but I can't see anything for #101, #102 or #103. Let me know if you need any help.--Ipigott (talk) 10:39, 26 November 2018 (UTC)
Research helpHey, Megalibrarygirl! I've got an article from The Times of London, Leaked CCTV of nude blogger ‘is data breach’ by Mark Tighe September 2 2018, that is behind a paywall. Can you help? I've applied to get newspaperarchives from the whatchamacallit place (lol) but it hasn't come through yet so all the newspapers I can access are US. Thanks for any assistance!valereee (talk) 16:09, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
