RegrettablyI have had to delete your submission on gunpowder, because it was... it was really not an encyclopedia article. I'm not sure what it was, perhaps it might have been better placed in a scholarly journal? Also, your submission on La Celestina - I don't think that one was really appropriate either, but I'm less certain; that's why it's in your userspace now (instead of in mainspace). I am extremely busy today and will not have time to discuss these decisions with you until Sunday; I'm sure another administrator will be willing to help if need be. Sorry for your fiancee comaI was wondering why you deleted/moved my two files! Did I miss a warning? You have explained both cases clearly, but you may not judge an unfinished article The User:Mcapdevila/Catalan gunpowder it appears in the 120 volumes ESPASA Enciclopedia (WIKI pretends to substitute paper Enciclopediae!!)I did not enter the reference but I will The User:Mcapdevila/The catalan Celestina, Dr. Garcia Valdecasas (Dr. n law & Dean of Bologna University) has proven the author was fron Aragon for the rest the books that backup the theory are referred and available in libraries Thank you!Mcapdevila (talk) 20:19, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
Very sad newsThank you for caring about my fiancee; however, you misunderstood what I posted (although, in all fairness, I was not thinking too clearly when I posted it). Yes, she was in a coma. But then she stopped being in a coma. There are two ways that someone can stop being in a coma: you can wake up.... or you can die. And she did not wake up. To repeat, though - thank you for caring. I think I have corrected all the issues... They were unfinished... But on the other hand... Do you think anyone can consider being my own work, the fact of publishing works from other people already published in encyclopediae or research books 5, 30 or 80 years ago? (80 years ago I wasn't even born) The only thing I shouldn't do is to draw my own conclusions, but this is not the case, for I just publish assertions from other people's works already published in other books or encyclopediae I've copied the references from worldcat.org Catalan gunpowder1. ^ Enciclopedia Universal Ilustrada Europeo Americana., Madrid 1934-96- VOL.46 - Page 122- ISBN 8423945006 2. ^ NASA CONFERENCE PUBLICATION #2014, VOL.1, Page 73 - R. Panoramanotice the article has aquired a panorama; I've moved it down, as it was too obtrusive parked in the middle of the History section. I've also converted it to a normal image file. The caption there (and on the image) said "At least two catalan flags hoisted on two Armada ships against what it has been said officially in the spanish records" which seems prety dubious, so I've brought it here for discussion.

Note in particular, that there is a problem noted with, 1, the lack of sources in general, and 2, the use of original sources, where it is difficult or impossible to identify the article material in the original, non-English language source. Whatever help you can offer is appreciated. Also, note, two images were swapped that were identical to the two appearing before, that simply had a watermark type of text inscription removed (because this is less appropriate in wikipedia). If you are sure that or other content is wrong, remove it -- but otherwise leave it in and create a section in talk to discuss the change. Otherwise, I have one request -- make sure in all cases, that all content in the lead (lede, opening, introduction) also appears later in the main body of the article, and then -- this is important -- put the citations in the main body, not the lead. This is a request, from me, a fellow editor that has worked here. Bottom line, the article is much improved in content and sourcing, and I am happy for your return and contributions. A tag has been placed on LED lightpad, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. The last one (no free copy, sorry) is written in Catalan by Ramón Pujades, from Barcelona. Speedy deletion nomination of Fèlix Cardona i PuigA tag has been placed on Fèlix Cardona i Puig requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason: Rough Translation of Spanish Wiki Article

BDD (talk) 19:27, 15 December 2015 (UTC) Can you please use narrower categories on your articles?I was checking out Category:History for cleanup since people often put way too specific of articles in there, and I noticed that you'd labeled several articles with just the basic "History" category in the last few months. Wikipedia categories aren't like hashtags, you don't want to just use the broadest possible category, you want to use the most specific categories possible. So a book about navigation in Barcelona should not be categorized as "Books", "History", "Spain", but instead "Works about the history of Barcelona", "Books about geography", "History of navigation", etc. Can you please look at some of your past articles and see if you're using too broad of categories? As a general rule, only extremely broad articles should be in major overarching categories. So if you have anything labeled "History", "Spain", "Books", etc. please refine it down to narrower cats. Thanks! Speedy deletion nomination of Hommes et plantes
A tag has been placed on Hommes et plantes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
