@86.170.34.214: Hi ,As per Wikipedia guidelines for reporting vandalism, an editor needed to be given 4 warnings and then he can be reported for Administrator intervention against vandalism. I have given level 2 warning already to him,after 2 more warnings if he persists with vandlizing than he will be reported. So, don't worry for that. In relation to the main covid-19 article on india

Can you please take a look at "Remove the lines in the start claiming India has lowest level of testing in the world - 4th May, 2020"[1] section on talk page of the article? Only one contributor is replying to me and has been very harsh so I was looking for second opinions. Thanks sir! I did not know this tidles rule I will keep it in mind. Sir but my real problem is that the contributor who is very biased towards me.

 Here is a last simple fact and logic for you. If you want to know if a person is infected with covid or not, the only way to know that is by testing. So, how many people in a country is infected with covid can only be known with testing. So, repeat after me 7 times "Only testing can detect corona virus and through testing one country can know the affect of the virus". The point is knowing the exntension of affect of the virus, which can only be known through testing, there is no other way. I hope it enters in the processing unit.

This is what they replied to me after a lenghtly fact-based claim by me. I am a new contributor and looking to help Wikipedia more and more but I wanted to ask you if this is right sir? I welcome the facts but not the kind of language such "repeat after me 7 times", "enters in your processing nit", etc. What should I do about it? Hi @Vikram maingi: You may have misunderstood, I am not updating Punjab article but I do update COVID-19 pandemic in India, COVID-19 pandemic in Rajasthan daily and case numbers for various states on Wikidata. New way of getting the last value of a multi-value Wikidata property

Dear Mayankj429 and Timbaaa, you have used the following code to get the last value of a multi-value Wikidata property (array):

I'm happy to report that I have come up with and RexxS has kindly implemented a simpler and safer way of doing it:

Hi @Timbaaa: I and Ashinpt updates the Indian states on the template mentioned, and I will be happy if this is can be linked to wikidata as it reduces manual editing. Hi @Timbaaa: For date we are using P1603 (no. of confirmed cases) while we should use P8011 (no. of clinical tests) as commonly both these are updated on same day but for some states like I updated for Chattisgarh, no. of cases are same from 6 May so on wikidata it have not been changed from 6 May and clinical tests are updated till 10 May. Hey Mayankj429, I have added more states in my sandbox. Some changes need to be made for those, which I have included as inline comments. Before moving them to template, dont forget to remove those comments. And let the MP row be there as a sample to work with. Also check out MP's ref, I have added wikidata item as ref. I am thinking we can add those for all others states. There will be two refs for all Indian states in the template. Hi Timbaaa, I was thinking same as what should be done for refernces. If Wikidata can be added as ref. then it will solve the problem. For UTs data could be added in template, if we have it on wikidata. Timbaaa Ohh, is that population data :D , I thought it is something related to the code, If so then it is 2011 Census data, which was used in template from before i started updating them. Template:COVID-19 pandemic data

Hey Mayank, is there any reason Template:COVID-19 pandemic data's India row being edited manually. Since, it can also be linked to wikidata like testing template.

Hi Timbaaa, Yes I was thinking the same for few days but i didn't changed it from few reasons -

1) Data from this template is directly used by google search engine using some script i think, as if you search COVID INDIA there they have linked this template as source and i don't know if code will create a problem their or not and if it does then this will affect many people who search for the cases update on google.

2) This is secondary reason although can be ignored - That template is moderated by a lot people and their are chances of removal of it or may be not.
