Welcome!
Women in RedHi there, Marleeashton. and welcome to Women in Red. It's good to see you are interested in improving our coverage of Californian politicians and activists. I see you have recently been improving existing biographies of some of the women politicians. As you already have considerable experience as an editor, it would be good if you could assist us in chipping away at the gender gap by creating new articles about women. If so, you might find it useful to look as some of our Essays, perhaps starting with our Primer for creating women's biographies. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 10:10, 4 November 2022 (UTC) Thank youThank you for all your great work reverting vandalism to Wikipedia. Those edits can make a big difference, especially in biographies. Certes (talk) 10:49, 15 November 2022 (UTC)

I’m also really annoyed with it. I mean aren’t they just violating 3RR at this point? I’m going to go through the articles are remove what’s incorrect and go from there tbh. Knock it off!Hey, User Marleeashton - knock it off! Don't just go around utterly unjustifiably reverting a new editor's first (and completely valid, and properly explained) edit. You want to run new talent off the encyclopedia (that it desperately needs)? There's no better way. I don't mean to be contentious here, but if I see this pattern displayed again I will immediately report you to the administrative board in charge of new changes reviewers. You must act more responsibly than this. 2601:196:181:BE00:8518:ECB4:790F:31D2 (talk) 09:37, 23 November 2022 (UTC)

2022 San Bernardino mayoral election moved to draftspaceAn article you recently created, 2022 San Bernardino mayoral election, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of " Jewish genetic debate on a Khazar talk pageMarlee, since you are an active Wikipedian with partial Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry and visit the mtDNA X haplogroup page, I wonder if you would like to weigh in on the current "Request new section to discuss Brook 2022 and later studies that confirm or disconfirm it" (related to DNA evidence) at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Khazar_hypothesis_of_Ashkenazi_ancestry#Request_new_section_to_discuss_Brook_2022_and_later_studies_that_confirm_or_disconfirm_it which relates to multiple currently undiscussed peer-reviewed sources that could be summarized in some manner on the page Khazar hypothesis of Ashkenazi ancestry, which has restricted-access for editing. Frankly I think all the genres, which had adequate sourcing, are fine to keep. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of First Lithuanian Republic, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not a WP:A1 candiate, as it is an attempt at writing about a period in the history of Lithuania. WP:10 may possibly apply, perhaps - please see Lithuania#20th and 21st_centuries. Thank you. Shirt58 (talk) 🦘 08:39, 5 November 2023 (UTC)

April 2024Hi, Marleeashton. Thanks for patrolling new pages. I've declined your deletion request for a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. Please take a moment to read the new tutorial for patrollers, criteria for speedy deletion, and particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion or proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. --Lajmmoore (talk 17:50, 28 December 2024 (UTC) via MassMessaging Thanks for the response to...our recent editing. Because of time demands, we have found the best balance to be thorough (and sometimes persuasion-attempting) edit summaries, rather than the combination of those and new Talk entries, as bot-driven reversionary edits most often ignore all but edit summaries (if even those are consulted before acting). We understand this is a minority, and somewhat rebelious perspective, but it derives, in our team, from combined registered WP editing experience of several decades (the shortest of ours being ~15 years here). With kind regard, one of a team, and a former res. univ. faculty member, and former reg. WP editor. 98.226.86.66 (talk) 08:12, 2 January 2025 (UTC)
