Disambiguation link notification for July 30Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Gus Fleischli, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Army Air Corps (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.) My first ever barnstar! Thanks for making my night and also letting me know I was doing the right thing, since I wasn't entirely sure. Cam (talk) 10:09, 23 December 2021 (UTC) Rick Oginz pageHi there, I saw you reverted back my changes to the bio I had been working on for the Rick Oginz page. My intention was to make the bio more professional and concise. After my edits, an editor put a general bio guide at the top of the page (c. Fred?). My edits were to conform better to the biographical format. Would it be possible for you to revert the bio back to my last edit? And by doing this do you think an editor will end up doing the same thing again and pasting the general bio guide article to the top again? I know I’m too close to the subject, but until we find an unrelated editor I’m just trying to streamline the bio so it’s not as wordy and more objective. Thanks very much and have a good day. Benoginz (talk) 23:05, 31 December 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for your response, my last edit had the example page pinned to the top, but the actual bio with my last edits was at the very bottom as it’s own entry Benoginz (talk) 03:18, 2 January 2022 (UTC)

So I think it is worth brining to AfD. If you made an honest attempt to find sources and did not succeed I would nominat it at AfD.John Pack Lambert (talk) 18:05, 1 June 2022 (UTC) Referencing
I noticed people filling out my bare URLs, so I'm trying to learn how to make properly formatted citations. But I'm having a lot of trouble understanding the process. I've been trying to use the templates on the page Wikipedia:Bare URLs but every time I try, something goes wrong. Could someone point me in the direction of a simple guide or tool for creating good citations so I can make better contributions? Sorry if I shouldn't be using this template since I've been around a while but I'm not sure where else to ask. MarchOfTheGreyhounds (talk) 22:10, 11 July 2022 (UTC)

I've noticed that you removed the content on tickle fight article about Barack Obama's tickle fight he had in Indonesia. There was a source to that text published by The Huffington Post, which is to my understanding a credible source. Here is another source by New York Magazine, which also is credible source. So why exactly did you remove that content? Just curious, since I can't figure out why you did so. --Pek (talk) 17:49, 18 December 2023 (UTC)

You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Wandering Souls (novel)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed.
