One small remark: the sentence "Diese Aussprache hätten auch viele Sprecher angenommen, die nicht aus dem Süden Englands kommen und an diesen Schulen unterrichtet wurden." is duplicated in the recording. Ég er nú ekki sammála þér um það hvort það sé "Góðan daginn" eða "Góða daginn". Flest fólk segir "Góðan daginn" en ég las á vísindavefnum að það væri vitlaust. Þú ættir að sjá afhverju:

Góður	Dagur	Góður dagur	Góði dagurinn
Góðan^1	Dag	Góðan dag	Góða daginn^2
Góðum	Degi	Góðum degi	Góða deginum
Góðs	Dags	Góðs dags	Góða dagsins

1 - "n" þegar lýsingarorðið er eitt og sér.
2 - Það stigbreytist ekki með "n" þegar "dagur" er með greini.

I beg to differ on whether it's "Góðan daginn" or "Góða daginn". If you look at the table below you should see why:

nominative	Góður	Dagur	Góður dagur	Góði dagurinn
accusative	Góðan	Dag	Góðan dag	Góða daginn
dative	Góðum	Degi	Góðum degi	Góða deginum
genitive	Góðs	Dags	Góðs dags	Góða dagsins

Although folk constantly use "Góðan daginn" it is wrong when using another noun with an article. You probably don't see why but it just sounds wrong. Like saying "a men", that's wrong to a native speaker but it might not sounds so to a foreigner. --S.Örvarr.S 01:23, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the message of support. The reason I didn't revert again is because the original comment was posted by an admin, and I don't feel like getting into an edit war. I've left a message on that user's talkpage in case their account has been used by an unauthorised person.
