User talk:MKY661WelcomeHello, MKY661, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Malaga AirportHi, further to your edits to Málaga Airport please remember that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a travel guide. It is not the purpose of the article to provide travel tips, etc... I have trimmed some of the superflous information from the article, please use the article discussion page if you disagree with any of the content being removed rather than re-inserting. Thanks. SempreVolando (talk) 21:45, 16 February 2010 (UTC) Málaga AirportHi, thanks for contributing images to Wikipedia. Including images makes the world of difference to an article and really helps the project. However, a number of images you recently added to the above article were of such poor quality that they make the article look unprofessional without really adding anything and as such I have removed them. Please only ensure that good quality, encyclopedic images are used in the future. Thanks, raseaCtalk to me 18:02, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Privilege Style destinationsA tag has been placed on Privilege Style destinations requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding Recent ContributionReminder, wikipedia is not intended as a vehicle for promoting businesses.--RadioFan (talk) 00:15, 6 March 2010 (UTC) March 2010 - Speedy Deletion NoticesPlease do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Privilege Style destinations. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. RadioFan (talk) 00:16, 6 March 2010 (UTC) Re your noteI noted that you were having trouble understanding the deletion of the above-captioned articles. Although it's not usually considered useful to compare one page to another (see this policy for details), you note that other airlines seem to have a separate page to list destinations. If this is indeed the case, it's probably because the larger airlines have very long articles and it's considered appropriate to split out some of the content into some smaller linked pages. The Privilege Style article is very short and will fit into an average screen on most computer monitors; there is just no reason to split out any of the content and actually makes the article more difficult to use. I've reinserted the content into the main article. I trust this explanation is what you were looking for. Accounting4Taste:talk 00:44, 6 March 2010 (UTC) Your recent editsHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. I was looking in the booking system of Monarch Airlines, and I only saw scheduled flights from Alicante. I think that the route map is not updated. Arkefly destinoOn 24 April 2010 you created the page Arkefly destino by cutting content from Arkefly and pasting it into the new page. When copying or cutting content from one Wikipedia page to another, you must indicate the source page in your edit summary in order to comply with Wikipedia's licensing requirements. See Help:Merging for more information. Note that the page Arkefly Destinations already exists as a redirect to Arkefly. It was created in 2007 and was merged to Arkefly on 29 October 2007. Since you did not leave an edit summary, I don't understand why you thought the creation of a separate destinations page was warranted. Prior to your edits, Arkefly was reasonably short (about 9.5kb) and readable. The new Arkefly destino provides no obvious advantages that I can see, and since it does not describe the Arkefly airline may actually be less informative. For these reasons, I will restore the list of destinations to Arkefly and place a dated {{prod}} tag on Arkefly destino. If you still believe that Arkefly destino should be kept in Wikipedia, you may remove the {{prod}} tag to prevent it being deleted. If you do so, however, please explain why in your edit summary and at Talk:Arkefly destino. Thank you and happy editing, Cnilep (talk) 14:49, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
I have moved Arkefly destino to Arkefly destinations per your request. The former title now redirects to the latter page. Cnilep (talk) 20:21, 12 May 2010 (UTC) Photo ReplyHi, I'd completely forgotten about that but thanks for reminding me. To be fair the new photo is much better quality but I see no real value in it as far as the article is confirmed. It could be any part of any airport in the world so I see no reason to include it. I would suggest opening a thread on the article's talk page but for my part I would strongly oppose inclusion. raseaCtalk to me 19:53, 11 May 2010 (UTC) Birmingham PhotosHi, thanks for getting back to me. The only gripe I had really of the photos were that they could have been taken anywhere and didn't appear to enhance, in their current form, the article which of course is principally about the airport. Feel free to put them back up, excluding the Onur Air photo, but if there are any photos of these aircraft/airlines which actually show the airport as well, ie. at the terminal building, then I think that would probably look a lot better in the airport article, and feel more related to the airport. Fair use rationale for File:Buzzairlogo.JPGThanks for uploading or contributing to File:Buzzairlogo.JPG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. License tagging for File:Mint-Airways logo.JPGThanks for uploading File:Mint-Airways logo.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Page titlesHi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Viking Hellas a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Fly Hellas. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history. In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. You have not included any of these and I have re-typed your edits with proper format and added dates for the end of the suspension. I also noticed that you (very quickly) removed Jet2's routes to Enfidha without reason, next time please give a reliable source, thanks. RMS52 (talk) 10:03, 17 July 2015 (UTC) Hello. Thanks for this. I actually wasn't aware there was a set date for the resumption of flight to Enfidha with Thomson, I thought these wouldn't come back for a while. I've seen on other pages the words in brackets (suspended) so I did it this way. As with Jet2, the route had already stopped operating by the time I removed it, as the end date was very short notice and wasn't put up beforehand. Not coming back for 2016 Either. The same was with Monarch, but I managed to see these dates in time just before they stopped them :) --MKY661 (talk) 10:15, 17 July 2015 (UTC) Your welcome, most people who put in brackets, 'suspended' are mostly new editors or don't understand the editing system, again you didn't really need a source for removing Jet2 and Monarch. But it is useful because then people may re-add the information again, thanks for understanding. --RMS52 (User talk:RMS52) August 2015Thank you for your good work on Malaga Airport, keep it up! You have been moving the page to TUI Airlines, but it's not the correct name, because the new airline name is TUIfly Netherlands (see TUIfly and TUIfly Nordic), check website. --2.238.41.27 (talk) 01:19, 4 October 2015 (UTC) Thanks. I saw on several sites that it says the airline is Called TUI Airlines Netherlands. I'd Imagine the fly part is being dropped from all the airlines during the rebrand :) --MKY661 (talk) 09:47, 4 October 2015 (UTC) October 2015Hello, I'm JMHamo. Please note that Jetairfly was indeed renamed to TUIfly Belgium and NOT to TUI Airlines Belgium as was expected. There is no reason to be found as why TUI changed its naming policy again but you can check the new website tuifly.be and this article http://ch-aviation.com/portal/news/50251-jetairfly-rebrands-as-tuifly-belgium for reference.
