User talk:Loganberry/Archive12Graeme Wight, Jr.Yeah, I should have really said that in the edit summary. Although programmes and having seen it on the car myself as Wight Jr, it still will be Wight, Jr. because of how a name is written. Many apologies about the excessive strength of the summary, I did not mean to cause offence. Regards. Cs-wolves (talk) 23:25, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
Jupiter ACE: ACE and FORTH... or Forth and Ace ?Greetings, About the usage of CAPS on Ace and Forth...
Anyway, it is now accepted as "normal" and nothing can be done, its' importance is relative and I'm not qualified to decide on such matters.
Besides... C.Moore wouldn't care! He is now using small caps for everything... now he can use them.
Thus, in my view:
Hope not to bother with these considerations. They are more interesting things. Regards, P.S. - Maybe there's another reason to consider that is elusive but powerful:

I did try and make the infobox for a hillclimb but it just wasn't happening and gave up. I'm sure a bit of hard graft by someone on the wikiproject or yourself could actually get them perfect. Vikram Rawnsley?!Not sure what I was thinking there. Typing one line and reading the next, I believe! I'm sure I meant to type in Solanki's name, but why I would choose to do it twice, I'm not sure! Thank you for spotting this error, and the duplication of Sheryar's name. Bobo. 23:21, 20 October 2008 (UTC) On User talk:Bobo192, Loganberry said:
Problem solvedHi there. I've realized why there are still so many redlinks. James Turner, for example, when you created the article, you made at James Turner (Worcestershire cricketer), rather than where the link on my page exists as James Turner (cricketer). There are several other examples of this, which I can fix easily so long as I look at the early disambiguated names. Bobo. 23:36, 20 October 2008 (UTC) Speaking of whichI fixed a link on my Nottinghamshire page from James Turner (cricketer) to James Turner (Nottinghamshire cricketer). Therefore, when I create the latter, we can turn the former into a disambiguation page. Bobo. 23:41, 20 October 2008 (UTC) Just createdI went ahead and created a disambiguation page for James Turner (cricketer). The only two other James Turners on Cricket Archive are both Minor Counties players. Please see the hook at Template_talk:Did_you_know#Articles_created.2Fexpanded_on_October_21. Have a nice day. As the wikipedia article on the province elects to use Sindh I concluded that we should do so to. The phrase 'Sindh cricket team' also gets considerable more google hits than the other for what it's worth. That said, I've just looked up Cricinfo and they, like CA, call the team Sind so it's six of one half a dozen of the other. My lazy editing is to blame for not changing some of the Sinds in the article, I'll fix that up once we decide on what the best title for the article should be. Cheers. Jevansen (talk) 01:46, 16 November 2008 (UTC) I don't want to add to your workload at a point when you seem within striking distance of completing the Worcestershire cricketers - which will be a tremendous feat - but the Aldridge article looks to be a bit in need of your care and attention. At present, it's written, bizarrely, almost as if he was played as a batsman! Like Derek Pearson, of course, he also got into trouble with the umpires in the purge on throwing... I will have to retrace my steps as to why I've forgotten to include George Alfred Wilson on the list - I'd have to completely rewrite the list in order to see why - I haven't the time to do so now but I will look over it at the earliest possible opportunity. Maybe I haven't included the entire list for some reason... Thanks for checking this out for me. Bobo. 17:53, 22 November 2008 (UTC) On User talk:Bobo192, Loganberry said:
Laddy OutschoornThank you for the note, and sorry to have been nitpicky. In compensation, I've given him an infobox. Johnlp (talk) 22:07, 22 November 2008 (UTC) Just giving you a heads up that someone has proposed your article for speedy deletion. I'd remove the template myself but I'm not sure if you're allowed to if you're not an admin. Cheers. Jevansen (talk) 04:07, 24 November 2008 (UTC) |
