Hey LAX it's me Steelerfan-94, hey is it possible for you to let me get the userboxes of my userpage and for you to let me get my friend list? Thanks. RKO 4 Life (talk) 16:48, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
BFG
Can't the Bound for Glory IV logo be left in the article so that it may be used in a production section to show how TNA hyped the event, or is that also against the rule.--WillC00:37, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I was just wondering because I left it in there so after the event I can use it in a production section. I plan on making BFG IV an FA so I want it to be the best article from the project, that is why I'll be working on it in a sandbox. I feel that logo will help in a production section.--WillC00:56, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
To show how TNA began to hype it. maybe by stating, "The build for Bound for Glory began in earlier July, with TNA announcing that it would take place in Chicago, Illinois. Their first real production of the event came when TNA introduced a new logo for the event. Unlike previous Bound for Glory events, this one was referred to in roman numerals, this was also the first pay-per-view event held by TNA to be referred to in roman numerals. (logo on the side to show the change in events)". Something like that.--WillC01:08, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I know what you're saying regarding the managers and whatnot, but they were indeed there at ringside in the corner of a certain wrestler, and I believe putting in "managed by" avoids any possible confusion to the non-wrestling fan. "Manage" doesn't necessarily imply that the talent are managers; it simply lets the reader know that they served as such, whether it was temporary or not for the given night. "With" could lead to a non-wrestling fan thinking that they were in the match themselves and besides, "managed by" is present within the results table for the FA The Great American Bash (2005), so I see no harm in making it a standard within all PPV articles. Just looked at the edit - I see what you're saying now (didn't know that there was a "manager" page). That aside, I don't see any reason why we couldn't incorporate a sentence regarding Amazon in the reception section. Superslammin (talk) 13:51, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I looked at the project's library and noticed you own alot of TNA ppv dvds. Did you buy the hard justice special from last year, because that is a big collection? I also wonder why you haven't expanded none of the ppvs you own?--WillC08:09, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Signpost updated for November 17, 2008 and before.
Because the Signpost hasn't been sent in a while, to save space, I've condensed all seven issues that were not sent into this archive. Only the three issues from November are below.
I see you have been inactive recently. Do you still plan on being in the WikiCup in January 2009? Please reply on my talk page. If I don't have a response by January 1, you will be removed. Cheers, iMatthew23:41, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ohai LAX, I was wondering, to get this article (as well as Survivor Series (2007)) to GA, I'd like to try and split it up between four editors. Myself, you, SRX, and DoomsDay349. Would you like to help out, and take one out of the four sections (Background, Event, Aftermath, and Reception)? ayematthew✡13:50, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
AfC news
Dear AfC participant,
Msgj and Tnxman307 are organising the AfC challenge! It's a little competition to help improve some of the articles created through AfC and we are hoping that everyone will get involved. For level 1, you just need to bring a stub up to Start-class. Level 2 is improving a Start-class article to C-class. And so on. To get involved or for more information please see the competition page.
Those of you who haven't reviewed an article recently might not have noticed the new process that was implemented this year. Reviewing articles is now more enjoyable than ever :) You might like to give it a try. All articles waiting for review are in Category:Pending Afc requests. (Please read the updated instructions.)
Please consider adding {{AFC status}} to your userpage to keep track of the number of articles waiting for review. At the time of writing we are officially backlogged, so help is needed!
There is currently a proposal to bring the Images for upload process under the umbrella of WikiProject Articles for creation. The rationale is that both processes are designed to allow unregistered users to take part more fully in Wikipedia, and partipants in each process can probably help each other.
If you no longer wish to receive messages from WikiProject Articles for creation, please remove your name from this list. Thank you.
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! It's that special time of the year again! The joy, the giving, the food, and most importantly, the PRESENTS! Remember, he checking the list twice. Yeah, and you thought you can get away with stealing that jar of cookies.;) Merry Christmas, and have fun opening your coa-I mean presents.
Spread the joy by adding User:SimonKSK/Sandbox/Christmas to their talk page with a friendly message.
According to this, you are a significant contributor to the article, so I just wanted to let you know that I have nominated it for GA, so if it passes, you deserve some credit.--SRX 20:51, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
WikiCup notice
The 2009 WikiCup will begin on January 1, 2009. The first round will run through March 31, 2009. For more information on this tournament, read the "about" section on the main WikiCup page.
This year, we have a different system in calculating points. At User:Garden/WikiCup/Submissions, you will find information about submitting your article (and other) work to earn points. Each contestant will have their own individual subpage for submitting completed work to us.
This year, User:ST47 will also be running one of his bots to calculate mainspace edits and read your submission subpages to calculate the point values you receive based on our scoring chart.
This year a bot will be tallying the scores for the tournament. This bot will be run by ST47 and will count edits–at 0.1 points each (major edits only, see below)–and submissions at the scores listed in the tables.
You must submit any work that you manage to promote in each period on your submissions page. Your page is located here. Rules and instructions are here for submitting.
Due to the massive influx of Huggle users, and because this is a content contest rather than an editcountitis extravaganza, minor edits will be scored at only 0.01 points. If you are a Huggle user your edits must be marked as minor or you will be disqualified. If you are unsure, check your contributions.
If you wish to drop out before the tournament begins, please do so as soon as possible, but not later than January 5.
Most importantly, good luck! Happy New Years, Garden. and ayematthew 20
TheChronic has given you a bottle of Cristal! Cristal costs $350, and hopefully this bottle has made your New Year's Day better. Spread the spirit of the New Year by giving a bottle of Cristal to someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Happy editing! Give a bottle of Cristal to someone else by adding {{subst:User:The Hybrid/Finger}} to their talk page with a friendly... wait...
