User talk:Ktsquare/Archive IIIWikiProject Military history: Coordinator elections--Loopy e 04:46, 23 January 2006 (UTC) Wiki Toronto/Richmond HillHi there! I was reading the wiki meetup for Toronto page [1] and noticed that it listed you as living in Richmond Hill. That's actually where I live, but it put me under Toronto when I signed up for the group and it's too much hassle to change it. Did you move since then? I hope they host a Toronto meetup sometime, that'd be sweet. Oddly enough, I think I recognized Sonja Elen Kisa from a Livejournal group I attended once but I have no clue which... --Tyciol 06:15, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
Hi. Are you interested in Toronto Wikipedia Meetups? If so, please add Wikipedia:Meetup/Toronto to your watchlist and help us choose a place and time on the talk page. --unforgettableid | talk to me 19:49, 31 January 2006 (UTC) Wikimedia CanadaHi there! I'd like to invite you to explore Wikimedia Canada, and create a list of people interested in forming a local chapter for our nation. A local chapter will help promote and improve the organization, within our great nation. We'd also like to encourage everyone to suggest projects for our national chapter to participate in. Hope to see you there!--DarkEvil 17:11, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
McTrixie Links To WaiguoHi, just writing to see if there is any progress on www.xzqh.com. Thanks. --McTrixie 04:03, 6 February 2006 (UTC) Wikipdia Meetup and TorontonianHey, Nick. Another Torontonian Wikipedian here. Have you heard of any upcoming meetup in Toronto? And What's your general idea of the Toronto media towards Wikipedia? I am not a reporter of any sort. However such information would be very useful as the Chinese Wikipedia is geering up for a general meeting in the coming summer. Please email me if you would not like to discuss here. I.H.S.V. Image Tagging Image:Sihanouk.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Sihanouk.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use. If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Matt 04:03, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

May be I gotta make it. Takima 20:56, 14 May 2006 (UTC) King of HongnongI say that "King of Hongnong of Han China" doesn't make sense because the expression "King of ..." normally follows the pattern "King of X" where X is the name of the place that the king rules. However, "King of Hongnong of Han China" has two arguments for "of", making it grammatically incorrect (one could say "King of Hongnong and of Han China", but that, of course, is not the intended meaning). - Nat Krause(Talk!) 18:06, 14 May 2006 (UTC) Survey on the use of Latinized/Greek names for Byzantine rulersHi. Sie and hirI believe my claim was not that they were not commonly used "enough" (whatever that means), but that the article, at present, provides absolutely no references to demonstrate that they are used at all. It is not my job to prove that they are not used (which is, of course, impossible). It is the job of the writers of the article to demonstrate that they are used, which they have so far signally failed to do. john k 12:43, 2 June 2006 (UTC) Ah, I thought you were saying I needed to prove my case. I've no idea whether they're used or not. I'd never heard of it until I found the wikipedia article, and I've still never come across the term in any other context. john k 10:08, 3 June 2006 (UTC) Military history WikiProject Newsletter - Issue IV - June 2006The June 2006 issue of the Military history WikiProject newsletter has been published. Invitation to join Wikipedia:WikiProject Eastern OrthodoxyHi there! I've noticed that you've edited articles pertaining to the Eastern Orthodox Church. I wanted to extend an invitation to you to join the WikiProject dedicated to organizing and improving articles on the subject, which can be found at: WikiProject Eastern Orthodoxy. This WikiProject was begun because a need was perceived to raise the level of quality of articles on Wikipedia which deal with the Eastern Orthodox Church. You can find information on the project page about the WikiProject, as well as how to join and how to indicate that you are a member of the project. Additionally, you may be interested in helping out with our collaboration of the month. I hope you'll consider joining and thank you for your contributions thus far! —A.S. Note on adding full Eastern Orthodox Project to your watchlistThis is a note for members of the Eastern Orthodox Project: Since the project's main page has been converted to a portal-style box format, each of the boxes is actually its own page (you can see the page outside its box by clicking the 'Edit' link on any often the section boxes on the project page, which takes you to the edit page for its contents). Because of this, updates to individual box contents will not necessarily show up on editors' watchlists, if you've only got the main project page watched. In order to keep up to date with all updates to the Project and its pages, I'd recommend adding each subpage to your watchlists. These are:
If you add all of the above pages to your watchlist, you should be informed whenever any part of the WikiProject Eastern Christianity is edited/updated. To discuss this, please see the relavent section of the Project's talk page. —Antonios Aigyptostalk 09:33, 7 September 2006 (UTC) Canadian WikipediansHello Nick. I have been wondering how these Canadians keep in contact, throug email, IRC or other means. I am mostly isolated from fellow Canadians until that meeting on August 16. As most Chinese Wikipedians speak English according to your note, I am encouraged to make a request: Would it be appropriate to add the English language links at MBendi Information for Africa to ZH:Wikipedia individual African countries' Economy pages? I have linked to the Namibia page, as an example, in the link. Here is another good example, the MBendi World Mining Overview. I will not make any links before I hear from you. Thank you. --McTrixie 19:04, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
