==Commercial use of Image:Carleton-Uni.jpg== Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Carleton-Uni.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Carleton-Uni.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3). If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Carleton-Uni.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 19:30, 17 May 2007 (UTC) License tagging for Image:Carleton-University-south-view.jpgThanks for uploading Image:Carleton-University-south-view.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images. For more information on using images, see the following pages: This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:06, 18 May 2007 (UTC) Commercial use of Image:Tory-portrait.jpgHello, this is a message from an automated bot. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Annan Carleton.jpg}Thank you for uploading Image:Annan Carleton.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:
Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale. If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), For more information on using images, see the following pages: This is an automated notice by STBotI. Thank you for uploading this media, (it's appreciated.) However, it would be nice if you could give some kind of indication as to what license the media is under. That way other people can be confident in making use of it for many varied purposes :) Adding license information also helps prevent media you've put effort into creating from being deleted :) You may wish to read Wikipedia:Image_copyright_tags#For_image_creators which will assist you :) Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:41, 15 May 2010 (UTC) File copyright problem with File:Temazepam10mg.JPGThank you for uploading File:Temazepam10mg.JPG. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This does not make sense. The phrase "signatory states" does not refer to states of the United States,it refers to countries (that is states) which have signed the convention. Since only the USA has US states or territories within it, this sentence can only apply to the USA, but the sentence is phrased to apply to all countries. I ask that you review what you were trying to get across and rephrase accordingly. If I have a problem with one of your images or you have a problem with one of my images, then we seek an opinion from an administrator or an established user and allow them to remove it. That's what I was told when I was banned. I will contact Raeky[2] for his opinion, and whatever he says goes. All my images are "cell phone images", it still has 5 megapixel/Carl Zeiss optics/Xenon flash, which is a reasonable camera. Editor182 (talk) 08:59, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Lets not start fighting about this again, the picture he added was a brand name packaging for the drug, although it is a "cell phone" image, we could do worse. 182 should think about getting a better camera though, one that doesn't have a fixed lens and is able to focus, but that's another issue. I don't have an issue with the new image, and the way the article is right now is fine I think. — raekyt 12:39, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Askachineselawyer.com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. —/Mendaliv/2¢/Δ's/ 23:04, 4 February 2014 (UTC) Orphaned non-free image File:Askachineselawyer.com logo from screen shot.jpgThanks for uploading File:Askachineselawyer.com logo from screen shot.jpg.
