Your request for rollbackHi Krenair. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Imidacloprid. And imidacloprid and beesHello, I do not want to be disruptive and I want to collaborate. Every change I make they revert. Their story is one sided and extreme. Certainly not neutral. Imidacloprid and bees is not about water. Yet they quote a partial paragraph In a document that in the same paragraph says it is safe and does not leach. I added a viable quote about trees and bees and they take it out. He just reverts. Please tell me what I can do as I work with this material, know a lot about it, and find it very upsetting to have them trash this. Also while some of their info is accurate. They do not allow the US govt reports and university experts who say this issue is about monoculture, mites, disease, and the fact these are artificial man made hives that are sprayed purposely with pesticides to kill parasites. This material is 100 times safer than the toxins it replaced. It is currently saving 100's of thousands of trees from EMerald ash borer, Asian long horned borer, hemlock wholly Adelaide, and others. Thank you. I will not edit war and want to be a neutral and collaborative; which I was able to establish with Gandy on imidacloprid. Looking forward to your response. SandboxI see you have reverted edits to both the sandbox and its subsequent talk sandbox. Don't revert changes to these (notably blankings). The bot will restore the headers. People can write and delete whatever they want on those pages (as long as its not disruptive or offensive). Calabe1992 20:22, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
Hello, There are 4 external references of notability in the reference section and there is only a single un-biased descriptor. I'd like to ask why you have reapplied warnings that are not helpful to the Victim of Xen article and also inappropriate. Sincerely, --Smolders (talk) 23:37, 3 April 2012 (UTC) Sam Because it has significant coverage from only two of the sources. One of which isn't reliable. You should also explain in edit summaries why you are removing such tags. They're not supposed to be helpful to the article, but to editors. They're also completely appropriate. Please do not add messages to the top of my talk page, use the 'New section' button. --Krenair (talk • contribs) 23:50, 3 April 2012 (UTC) Hello, That was not a duplicate link that you removed. Amaranth Games and Aldorlea Games are two different organizations that are significant within the rpg ingie gaming niche. You can even view their Wikipedia articles. Please revert back the references, because Smolders can not add games to those website (the must be added by Amaranth Games and Aldorlea Games themselves). The sources are all regular contributors to independent gaming and I'm not sure how you can say they are unreliable. Furthermore, the vested interest doesn't make those warnings appropriate. The article itself is entirely unbiased an unpromotional. Warnings like that deter and disrespect the credability of an article, that would otherwise be taken as it is. There's no call for either warning considering the neutrality and citations. Sincerely, --Smolders (talk) 00:02, 4 April 2012 (UTC) Sam Actually it sort of was. The URL provided for the duplicate reference was http://www.indiegamemag.com/victim-of-xen-review-female-fantasy. If you check the article then you'll see that the URL occured twice. The second of which is correct because it bears the correct date and title. I think you put the wrong URL for the one I removed. As for the notability template, I'm not sure anymore, and I'd like to avoid being involved in a dispute over it. I'll wait to see what the person who originally added it (Breawycker) says. --Krenair (talk • contribs) 00:25, 4 April 2012 (UTC) Hello, Thanks for bringing that to my attention! I'll get the proper link up right away! Sincerely, --Smolders (talk) 01:04, 4 April 2012 (UTC) Sam Krenair, Bwilkins is abusing administration powers by deleting the article, "Victim of Xen" despite it's significance (citations, neutrality, quality, etc). Can you please me in keeping Wikipedia, and Bwilkins, informed about the infraction? Sam Smolders (talk) 13:51, 4 April 2012 (UTC) I can't do anything about it. Even if I could I wouldn't necessarily agree that it was abusive. Please politely take it up with Bwilkins, or see WP:DRV.--Krenair (talk • contribs) 13:59, 4 April 2012 (UTC) Krenair, This is untrue! You, as an entity, have the power to discover truth and influence decision (others). If you feel that the Bwilkins' action was justified, then please explain your reasoning, so that you may improve me (odd choice of words, maybe, but that's how it is). If you feel, as I, that the article contained real information (RE: The citations and further improvement of facts), then I encourage you to mention this to Bwilkins for the same reason we are speaking. Sam Smolders (talk) 15:21, 4 April 2012 (UTC) I can't find out what the contents of the article were when it was deleted. I therefore can't decide whether it was justified or not. I did ask #wikipedia-en earlier, and an admin said "Technically software doesn't fall under A7. However, that article wouldn't get saved at AFD and I think it's be beaurocratic to restore it." --Krenair (talk • contribs) 15:30, 4 April 2012 (UTC) Krenair, The article was the same as when you viewed it ("Victim of Xen is a role-playing video game...etc") with the same citations. I added "It has been noted for it's gender-swap story." and moved those two review citations down next to that (since that's the first thing those sources talk about). Shortly before it was deleted, I was working to display the basic cover art image. June 2013Hello, and thank you for removing vandalism from J. R. Smith. This is much appreciated, but unfortunately your repair was not successful in restoring the article to its pre-vandalised state. For future reference, it is better to deal with vandalism by checking the article's page history to determine how it appeared before it was vandalised. You can then restore the whole article, or the relevant part of it, to an appropriate earlier version. If you simply delete the visible vandalism then any content removed or overwritten by the vandal is lost. See How to deal with vandalism for details. Thank you. Blah blah, template. Just giving you a heads up that you reverted to a vandalised version. 930913(Congratulate) 17:10, 13 June 2013 (UTC) Would you be willing to give jsMessage a second parameter, so it has an id/class we can use to hide it via CSS? πr2 (t • c) 23:35, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
Huggle 3Hey Krenair! I am Petrb, one of core developers of Huggle, the antivandalism tool, which you are beta testing (according to https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Huggle/Members#Beta_testers). I am happy to announce that Huggle 3 is ready for some testing. You can read more about it at WP:Huggle/Huggle3_Beta. Please keep in mind that this is a development version and it is not ready for regular use. That means you must:
If you find any problem with a feature that is supposed to work perfectly, please let us know. Some features are not ready yet, it is listed in known problems on Huggle3 beta page, you don't need to report these - we know it! So, that's it. Have fun testing and please let us know about any problems, either using bugzilla @ http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/ or #huggle connect. Please respond to my talk page, I am not going to watch your talk page. Thank you Petrb (talk) 10:57, 14 November 2013 (UTC) Huggle 3 beta is out - and we need more feedback!Hey Krenair, how are you? I am Petrb, one of huggle developers, and you are currently subscribed as a beta tester of huggle on meta (meta:Huggle/Members. You may not have noticed, but this week I released first beta precompiled installers for ubuntu and microsoft windows! Wikipedia:Huggle/Huggle3_Beta has all the links you need. So if you can, please download it, test it and report all bugs that is really what we need now. Don't forgot that as it's just a beta it's unstable and there are some known issues. Be carefull! Thank you for helping us with huggle Petrb (talk) 16:21, 29 November 2013 (UTC) Elton John's TIny Dancer pageI recently attempted (twice) to modify the wiki page for Elton John's Tiny Dancer, because it has an error. The page mentions that the song references Billy Joel in a line ("Piano man..."), but this seems impossible; Tiny Dancer was released two years before Piano Man was. So the trivia seems impossible (how would Bernie Taupin reference a song from the future?). Even cursory research on wikipedia backs this up. How can I go about changing the page so that the inaccurate trivia is removed? Thanks. 96.236.228.180 (talk) 20:33, 16 March 2014 (UTC)matt rob
We need your help testing latest huggleHello, I am sending you this message because you listed yourself on meta:Huggle/Members as a beta tester. We desperately need attention of testers, because since we resolved all release blockers, we are ready to release first official version of huggle 3! Before that happens, it would be nice if you could test it so that we can make sure there are no issues with it. You can download it packaged for your operating system (see Wikipedia:Huggle/Huggle3_Beta) or you can of course build it yourself, see https://github.com/huggle/huggle3-qt-lx for that. Don't forget to use always latest version, there is no auto-update message for beta versions! Should you find any issue, please report it to wikimedia bugzilla, that is a central place for huggle bugs, where we look at them. That is i mportant, if you find a bug and won't report it, we can't fix it. Thank you for your work on this, if you have any questions, please send me a message on my talk page, I won't be looking for responses here. It would be of a great help if you could download it (if you have windows, all you need to do is getting http://tools.wmflabs.org/huggle/files/huggle3.1.0beta.exe and putting it to a folder where you have installed huggle) and test it. You can always get a help with making it @ #huggle connect! Major changes:

Huggle messageHey Krenair! You are receiving this message because you are subscribed at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Huggle/Members#Beta_testers I have recently launched a new downloads for beta testers that contains nightly builds of huggle, eg. versions that are built every day from our master branch and contains latest huggle. These builds are currently provided only for Windows and Ubuntu. You can find them here: http://huggle.wmflabs.org/builds/ Please keep in mind that these don't have any automatic updates and if you download and start using nightly build, you will need to update it yourself! ArbCom 2017 election voter messageHello, Krenair. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC) Upcoming changes to wikitext parsingHello, There will be some changes to the way wikitext is parsed during the next few weeks. It will affect all namespaces. You can see a list of pages that may display incorrectly at Special:LintErrors. Since most of the easy problems have already been solved at the English Wikipedia, I am specifically contacting tech-savvy editors such as yourself with this one-time message, in the hope that you will be able to investigate the remaining high-priority pages during the next month. There are approximately 10,000 articles (and many more non-article pages) with high-priority errors. The most important ones are the articles with misnested tags and table problems. Some of these involve templates, such as infoboxes, or the way the template is used in the article. In some cases, the "error" is a minor, unimportant difference in the visual appearance. In other cases, the results are undesirable. You can see a before-and-after comparison of any article by adding ?action=parsermigration-edit to the end of a link, like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Foss?action=parsermigration-edit (which shows a difference in how {{infobox ship}} is parsed). If you are interested in helping with this project, please see Wikipedia:Linter. There are also some basic instructions (and links to even more information) at https://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-ambassadors/2018-April/001836.html You can also leave a note at WT:Linter if you have questions. Thank you for all the good things you do for the English Wikipedia. Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 21:18, 19 April 2018 (UTC) ArbCom 2018 election voter messageHello, Krenair. petscan-issue (Gateway timeout)Hi,
you are shown as the last one, who restarted petscan (April 4). petscan is again showing gateway timeout for quite some days. Can you restart the cluster again? I have so far had no success trying to contact the administrators Magnus Manske or Andrew Bogott, so I hope you can help. NB: there seems to be some fundamental issue with the petscan installation. How can an investigation into the petscan software be initiated? Greetings from Germany --Wikipeter-HH (talk) 10:12, 30 April 2020 (UTC)
ArbCom 2020 Elections voter messageTemplate editor revoked due to inactivityHello Krenair. This message is to notify you that I have removed your template editor user right because you have been inactive for a year or more. This removal is merely procedural in nature and serves to mitigate the potential risks of having inactive accounts retain sensitive permissions. Should you require access again, please make a request at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Template editor. Thank you for your past contributions to the project and best wishes, --Blablubbs (talk) 21:59, 14 July 2022 (UTC) |
