Interesting exercise, I was wondering about that :) Thank you for the barnstar. As to why it was hidden, it is most probably a misunderstanding of your motive combined with some anti-IP (anti-anonymous-editor) bias. That page gets some traffic from sockpuppets as well as people who ask questions that seem out of place for Wikipedia in general, to the point where it seems like trolling.
