Hello again! I recently found a really interesting seal/coat of arms. Its in the Vatican's archives. Its from 1593 "letters of the elders of albania" it also has "Regni" in it. Its inscription says "sigill Regni Macedoniae et Albaniae" Its all on the bottom of the page here [1] and then another link here [2] Then I found another interesting coat of arms. Its for the Albanese in Sicilly- [3] Have a great day thank you again! Arberian2444 (talk) 21:25, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Rodon Castle Coat of Arms
Hello Again! Ive recently found a very interesting coat of arms as well as background info about it from Castle of Rodon in a book I recently got from Albania. Its a Stone coat of arms that used to be above one of the entrances to the castle. Im pretty sure its a Venetian noble family coat of arms. I can send you the image and the background about it if you would like. Is their anyway I can send this to you like through instagram? Thanks again!Arberian2444 (talk) 13:43, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok Thanks for telling me! Here is the Link- [4] I included the Photos of the coat of arms and I sent the part of the book which talks about the castle and how the coat of arms got there as well as the front of the book. I don't know if the photos are in order. Thanks again! Arberian2444 (talk) 01:24, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for sending the files. The coat of arms looks interesting but the image quality is poor and therefore difficult to recreate. Kj1595 (talk) 01:36, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Besides, how can Varfi correlate such an image as belonging to the Zaharia family? The afresco would have to include inscriptions saying as such. Kj1595 (talk) 20:34, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I mean Danje castle was under the Zaharia family but the fresco itself still is really interesting. I don't know if this helps much but I have a connection to someone in Albania who's in this specific field and they said their was a fresco but it was supposedly taken by the Albanian government during the communist era so its probably currently in storage or in a government building somewhere. But I can still send the page of the book with the fragmented fresco. Thanks again. Arberian2444 (talk) 21:59, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have Varfi's book. What I meant was if you have any images of the mural inside the castle which shows the coat of arms. Found in some other book. Any visual image of the historical coat of arms. Kj1595 (talk) 23:04, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh im so sorry. No at the moment but I've been currently searching for it. I was wondering could I make a new topic on your talk page and just leave new coat of arms every time I find one? Thanks again! Arberian2444 (talk) 23:23, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As well as I just found this very interesting book It has information and the coat of arms of the Bruti and Brati family im not sure if it has other albanian families but the Brati and Bruti family are next to each other in this book [6] its on page 93 on the website but on the actual book its on page 96. Thanks again! Arberian2444 (talk) 23:31, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
