ThanksThanks from me as well. Your message was quite helpful to me and contained some very useful links. SFilip 22:24, 14 October 2006 (UTC) Thanks for the welcome. It provided some links to a lot of useful info that I need to read over. Is there no bot that sends out a welcome like this automatically to all new user that have been posting or editing? If not I think there should be because this was useful. I will look into it. Talk me back if anyone has more info about it. Thanks. 23:00, 5 October 2006 (UTC)User:Digital20 Thanks for the nice welcome message! Elxx 03:51, 16 September 2006 (UTC) Dear Thanks for your guidence. Hey, thanks for the welcome! I will be sure to check out each and everyone of these suggestions! Dark AbrahmsDark Abrahms Recent editI recently (9-21-06) noted a misspelling of one word; I changed that, and the change appeared instantly. I hope I did everything correctly; this is my first time to enter an item (minor as it is), and have not read all the instructions for entering items yet. Please let me know if I did anything wrong. Thanks. heathbug. Thanks for the noteHello, Thanks for the note. I hope to be a long term contributor. I was afraid when I first saw the notice that 'no good deed goes unpunished'. I hope I've stayed within the style guide. But thanks for the extra links there. I was having a hard time trying to find some details, and there were a few things there that I was unware of. Do people really sign articles? I don't think I've seen that before. Cheers, Ryan thank you
re: Phantom highlightsJack, you have a PM at the THF! Hello back. Thanks for the welcome. I have some questions...First up: I've read repeatedly about signing your name at the end with the four tildes. Where exactly am I supposed to put this? At the end of the Wiki article? Or in the summary box below? Please specify. Q2: Today I created my first new page - Chocolate mint. If you haven't looked already, two of the sub-headings are in quotes. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't putting words in quotes actually make them show up on the final/saved page in italics (as I intended) ?? Q3: This comes later, but how can I append a stub to my page? Specifically, there's a stub about Andes Chocolate Mints that (I think) would fit well on my page. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks again for the warm welcome. I have to figure out how to make my pages better... Never said thanks for the welcome......but this is much due to my fallen expectations. I've expected the welcome (by someone) much sooner than I've got it. :/ Anyway, YOU were the one who welcomed me so as we say in our country when someone welcomes you: "Bolje vas našli" (lit. betterfound). Really appreciate some friendliness around here, its all to common to find the elitist attitude on these type of projects. Thanks for helping, Xiphos 03:08, 10 October 2006 (UTC) Thanks for the messageThank you for taking the time to contact me as I am a new user. Yes, I am confused, but so far I'm confused about the loading up a file. The page I was trying to load up has about 1200 words. When I load it, just the first paragraph show and the reset of the verbiage is in a long striaght line that takes my screen to the twilight zone. what did I do wrong? Marian. Dan the Megalomaniac thanks ye.Thanks for the kind welcome. I actually did some minor edits as a "visitor" and an update [grammatical fixes] on the M. Hillegas article. My twin brother is out here somewhere, but I keep forgetting what his user ID is... I've found Wikipedia useful the same way library encyclopediae were in my schooldays (middle-late 20th century): I can browse thru info and then jump to a related article. Much faster online: those Britannicae and Compton's were heavy! Plus I'm a born proofreader: I have actually done three projects for newspapers and technical journals (alas for free!). I find correctly-punctuated, clear and precise diction refreshing and enervating. So watch for my sporadic escapades in Minor Edits. PS I am a recovering Trekkie so I will fix any flaws I find in the ST articles. Dan4JDan4J (Dan Fortier) Hi thereI've had this account for a while but I've never had a welcome message, cool! Once I "got it" it really is easy softwear to use. I'm surprized at what is happening here a Wikipedia. For instance, I only wanted to put in one page of a certain subject, but when I put that page in, I had to create other pages so that it would not become orphaned. I find the whole process interesting. Best regards, Marian. P.S. check out Yda Addis Uhh. Thank you.Chewbacca1010 19:21, 10 October 2006 (UTC) Thanks...Thanks for taking me into account. Thanks for the help! I would someday like to start an article but need a lot of practice. I'll try to take your advice and try the sandbox soon. I haven't tried seriously yet. It's nice to get some human feedback via Wikipedia, which so often seems to involve a one-way form of communication, despite its collaborative philosophy. I've been registered as a Wikipedia editor for quite a while though. I honestly believe this site is one of the greatest forces for the equitable dissemination of knowledge in the world today, and well worth supporting. So since I don't have any money, I might as well contribute a little. Keith Woodman 23:30, 14 October 2006 (UTC) uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh thank u.i will enjoy i guess... Response to 'Plastic Man' Pilot EditHello Kf4bdy, The reasoning behind me posting “There is a 2006 unaired pilot for a Cartoon Network series called 'Plastic Man'. The episode has not been aired on TV and if it will be aired is still unknown. [1]” was that I thought I had cited my source clearly. I apology if I have not done so. If you would please view the video Plastic Man Unreleased Pilot for Cartoon Network on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cavl9n8E18A. I know at first glance You Tube, may not seem as a reliable source, however the video contains copyrighted credits that makes the video genuine. If you look closely the credits contain the following: Opening Credits Based on DC Comics Characters Plastic Man Created by Jack Cole Developed for Television by Tom Kenny Andy Suriano Ending Credits Animation Services Toon City Animation Inc. Executives in Charge of Production for Cartoon Network Todd Casey Heather Kenyon Alex Manugian Sam Register © 2006 Warner Brothers Entertainment Inc. All Rights Reserved The video gives credit to DC Comics and Jack Cole the owners and creator of Plastic Man. The video was developed for TV by Tom Kenny someone who has had previous involvement with animated programs. The animation work was done by Toon City Animation Inc. an official and established animation studio. The video was produced by Cartoon Network and cites Sam Register the vice president of Cartoon Network. Finally the video is copyrighted by Warner Brothers Entertainment Inc. the owners of DC Comics. I hope that I was able to clear the misunderstanding, and cite my source more clearly. I would appreciate it if you could suggest a better and more efficient way of citing this information on Wikipedia. Sincerely, Bondswalterppk 02:37, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Welcome messageThanks for the information. RE: Gaelic in the English language WikipediaIrish is the first official language of my country. Tried to improve some content on a range of articles re Manding languages, Fula, Mali, and one on floodplains. Also a way to assess needs in the Mande/Manding area. It needs a lot of work. One of the issues is that it would help to have a better way to "overview" the set of topics. Re content I will bring this to the attention of the Mande Studies Assoc. list, MANSA-L. But the structure is sth that the Wikipowers may be best placed to facilitate/permit. Would there be, for instance, a possibility of something for Mande or Manding along the lines of the Berber pages category? Need something along those lines for Fula also. Lots of ideas. By way of intro, I'm also involved in the "AfrophoneWikis" group. This current concern is related, under the general interest of improving info available on Africa. All the best. -- A12n14:42, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
