User talk:KeithonearthCogset articleThat's a good point about most single speed (non-bmx) bikes using a coaster brake, I'd not thought of that. That's probably true for N. American, (I'm Canadian), but I was thinking of the Asian Utility bikes when I wrote that... maybe I can make that make sense. --Keithonearth (talk) 00:43, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

Maybe it would be best if we just left the dust cover description out? Making the centre line more clear is something that I'd been meaning to do as well. I hope you don't mind that I put up a request to get input on your translaion, it's not that I thought it was wrong, just I think somethings can be a bit subjective, and others may have a different preference. You English is excellent, no need to apologies. Nor would there be a need if it wasn't so good, it's great to have the communication between the different language versions, keep it up. Aksai ChinYikes....check out the edits I made yesterday to Aksai Chin. I didn't realize until now when I looked further down the history what a battle it's been for you and FowlerandFowler to attempt to reign in Hindutashravi who is way out of touch with the facts. Some days (like all this week) I get to work on Aksai Chin all day, and next week will be headed over again to Ladakh (I see you've gotten there a few times!!) but I didn't mean to jump into this article uninvited.....I was just trying to correct some of the geographic trivia (heights, rivers, Soda Plains is only the northern part) plus the rather important and verifiable fact that India showed the line variable and indistinctly until the 1954 Nehru decree; only then did their maps start showing Aksai Chin as part of India uniformly; McMahon Line doesn't apply here, etc. I'll be away, but I'm with you on your efforts to maintain a modicum of the NPOV facts in this article!....keep up the good work.DLinth (talk) 14:40, 12 June 2009 (UTC) TalkbackHello, Keithonearth. I've got one here. I was wondering if you knew how to enter the correct digits using goole earth like Template:Location map China Yunnan province. At present the digits are for Yunnan. Any idea how we can get it to work? Could you please find the coordinates of your map? Plus we could really do with some svg pin locator maps for all of the Chinese provinces!! At present though, Tibet is what I'm after.. Himalayan 14:32, 13 October 2009 (UTC) HI. Try it for Rutog. For some reason it displays several hundred kilometres east of where it should be. I wonder if you could speak to User:NordNordWest on German wikipedia. Perhaps he could give you some guidance on creating blank svg in projection for a pin locator maps? Right now we could seriously use some good quality Chinese province maps like Tibet, Qinghai, Sichuan and the rest like Template:Location map Germany Thuringia! What I'll do is draw up some empty shell templates ready.. Himalayan 18:55, 13 October 2009 (UTC) Any chance you could do a another version of File:Tibet&neighbors.svg without the Tibetan Autonomous name written on it so it is clear or/and another version of File:Lhasa map.svg without Lhasa labelled and highlighted, a blank map? Himalayan 19:02, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
OK. You should ask NNW about map projections. He may be able to answer what you are looking for.. Himalayan 19:16, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
What are we looking for? Blank maps of the provinces of China like File:Location map China Sichuan.png that can be used to display in infoboxes with a pin point. Say Chengdu for instance. Himalayan 19:37, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
You should definately ask NNW... Thanks for your new map without lables BTW... Himalayan 22:28, 13 October 2009 (UTC) LhokaHow can you say south Tibet"is an area Chinese government has recognized to be Indian"? That's too distorted. --虞海 (Yú Hǎi) (talk) 08:04, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
Tibet county locator requestsHI. I've recently expanded Lhorong County and aim to fill out some of the others. However I was wondering if you could use your File:Tibet&neighbors Locator map.svg to create county locators by shading in the relative county in red like say Sikasso Cercle and saving it as e.g File:Lhorong County locator map.svg, File:Rutog County locator map.svg etc. If you could do all of the counties in Tibet I'd be grateful. It shouldn't take you more than a few minutes to produce each one it is just a case of using the blank map each time and highlighting the relative county. You can work them out using the existing maps anyway. This would be a great help if you could do this. Shade the county in dark red? Actually you could use the same dark orange/tan color you did with File:Shigatse map.svg that'd be fine and you could write the name of the county e.g Lhorong County in the same writing underneath that'd look good. So basically I would like a set of svg county locators like File:Shigatse map.svg but with the relative counties shaded rather than the whole prefectures. Can you do this? I don't them with the yellow bachground for the prefecture like in the horrid picture on the bottom right, but just say each county highlighted in the tan color nice and clean for whatever country it is. No pink and yellow!!. Himalayan 22:40, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
Naaa No no I don't want county "pushpin" maps!!! I just want you to shade in the relative county in Tibet and create different ones. Ah, I'll have to do a png example so you understand what I mean. Himalayan 18:57, 17 November 2009 (UTC) See Banbar County now. I don't have the svg facilities though. Do you see what I want? Himalayan 19:06, 17 November 2009 (UTC) No it doesn't work for some of them. Please can you help me out here? Himalayan 18:54, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

If so, then I think you've neglected to explode it into the nut plus the plastic cover on it -- that or it's a newer version I'm not familiar with. Since you're going out to the axlenuts, would it be a good idea (if it'll fit) to show some frame ends in between? 80.101.113.45 (talk) 13:35, 29 August 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the license rights and please check that it's OK. No big deal, but I would prefer that the image of the threadless headset not have the red centerline down the middle so it like the other one, if that is something you don't mind doing. Also, in this image, you didn't indicate where the handlebar stem goes -- that might be added. Your explaination was 'removing unhelpful cn tag'... however, i'm pretty sure there is no proof anywhere that 'Humankind has never been destroyed before' - 'The burden of evidence lies with the editor who adds or restores material.'; can you infact prove that Humankind has never beed destroyed before?? Your graphics skillsHello! Following the map request above I noticed that you have some excellent graphic skills. The bicycle diagrams you've done are impressive. Why don't you - if and when you have some spare time - drop by the Graphics Lab (we also have a Photography workshop and an Illustration workshop), have a look at the requests and see if there's something you'd like to work on. It's a fun project and a fun way to contribute, and usually the resulting images will have a great impact on articles, which are always in need of quality images like the ones you've done. wikiproject TibetHi Keithonearth. I'm guessing that the reason that you didn't get any feedback from your post on the Wikiproject Tibet page is that you posted on the project page, and not the talk page, where discussions are supposed to occur. You might try moving your post to the talk page if you are still looking for feedback, and you might consider moving it there anyway, as that's where it probably belongs. Flying Pigeon logoHi. I saw File:Flying Pigeon headbadge.JPG, which you uploaded, in the Flying Pigeon article. I've seen this logo elsewhere -- as I remember as one of a number of FP logos pictured on some webpage -- and I wondered about it looking more like Fg than Fp at that time. As it happens, a friend of mine just started importing FP bicycles to the Philippines, so I photographed the logo on one of those and uploaded it as File:Flying pigeon logo 2013.jpg. I haven't linked that image anywhere, but it probably ought to go in the FP article. Perhaps you know something abut the differences between the logos and could provide info on that (?).
