Cheers, — LeoFrank Talk 13:40, 26 March 2016 (UTC) Username warningThanks for the heads-up. I've used Wikipedia before but not edited previously and I figured I ought to contribute to the knowledge base. My username (RinconPhotography) isn't a business and it's not promotional in nature. It's to honor a photographer (a photojournalist) who I once worked with and was killed in Central America. There is no foundation, no organization, no business, that benefits from the use of that name, there is no employee or owner. If there is a business named RinconPhotography out there in the world, I'm not affiliated with them and don't know about them. This is just my memory of a young guy I knew who was considered a threat by the powers that be so they silenced him. And I don't ever want to forget him. So...RinconPhotography is a special name to me since I"m likely to be contributing details about Central America, sharing some of the photos I took while I was there, or details about the politics in Guatemala and El Salvador. Pending changes review on Pinocchio's Daring JourneyHi KGirlTrucker. I saw that you recently got Pending Changes Reviewer rights, but I wanted to warn you that you have to be MUCH more careful when accepting edits that you look at the entire edit history, not just the most recent edit. For example, you accepted this revision, which on the surface looks like an okay change, but if you actually looked at the revision history, you would see that the changes made since the last accepted revision added a ton of information on a non-existent Florida version of the ride. If you had also looked at the revision history to determine why the page had pending changes protection in the first place, you would've seen dozens of similar reverted edits that added information on a Pinocchio at the Magic Kingdom (the fact that the added information didn't cite any sources should've also been a warning). --Ahecht (TALK

Regarding your speedy tagging of Bak pasir - you tagged it as blatant vandalism, which was not an appropriate tag. The article consists of a couple of sentences of advice in Malay, and it's not really a basis for an encyclopedia article at all, but it wasn't vandalism. (Articles in languages other than English should be tagged for translation, unless they are clearly inappropriate for some other reason such as spam or attack pages. More info here.) I changed the speedy tag to "no context". Another problem with using the label "vandalism" is that it can be unnecessarily harsh on the creator who acted in all good faith. Thanks, and happy editing, --bonadea contributions talk 21:03, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
Administrator Intervention Against VandalismGreetings! Thank you very much for guiding me, to be honest i still have a lot to learn about being a good, useful, contributing editor on Wikipedia and comments like yours are sure appreciated if i wish to avoid any unnecessary conflict with the administration. However, I just wish to explain that when I tried to give a warning template on the aforementioned reported editor's page (warning templates are still new and difficult to apply properly, at least for rather unintelligent little old me), it said the user page was deleted by said user and/or may not exist, so i admit i was really, really confused and immediately assumed he/she/they had blocked me from taking the only responsible course of action i could even think of. I seriously suspect a single editor may be targeting me for undue newbie hostility and may unfairly be using multiple sock puppets to overwhelm how much i can possibly contribute to the edits in 24 hrs, i am still steadily gaining evidence as i write this i am so glad to say. I always felt Wikipedia should be a place where if i say something wrong or insulting or just plain ignorant, i won't be viciously attacked and the caliber of my work won't just be insulted outright, but instead people like you can civilly remind me that i still got a looong way to go, preferably by the usage of tags and discussion instead of never-ending, repetitively wholesale deletion (without any tags or warnings first and continuing in spite of my best efforts to respond, as the reported editor and some others working on the article in question attempted as well in violation of Wiki rules, i believe?) of my hard- researched work as well as verging-on-the-personal, subjective insults like "your work is pointless to me, not meaningful/valuable to me as a person at all or just plain 'fancruft' in my opinion (especially as i've given what i believe to be valid, thought out reasons as to why my writing could possibly have real educational value or at least a modicum of meaning to somebody who may not even remotely be a fan of any discussed subculture/work of art)". But regardless of that, honestly, I never meant to circumvent Wikipedia's warning guidelines, i simply was mistaken, and i shall try my best to never attempt anything similar in the future. Thank you again for helping this newbie out, i sincerely hope that i may contribute to Wikipedia more often without worrying about being bullied/pressured into not contributing at all!! Social WorkHello, there I see you have pp-protected its talk page. This probably might be from Timothy request. There is an ANI involved with this editor in continuously attacking along with other editors and it was solved there. The editor was inactive on the article for sometime after the issue. But granting them this requests will only support their disruptive behavior in future. The premise for this request is in updating the talk page archive settings. I hope you would review it and notify it @ the page with regard to that ANI. This around the time when the article page was stopped having revert block process. The next process will be blocking the article if any edit made and continuation of the same cycle. If the talk page reviewed, it is also possible to see that the original poster has withdrawn from the IP-Hopper heading and asked to stop adding to the list and it only reserves to that editor. I hope you could see the pattern that is there. The best thing about it is this issue was already solved.59.96.58.147 (talk) 16:33, 28 July 2016 (UTC)

But could I please ask a favor and ask you not to automatically accept the changes in the "Best selling girl groups worldwide section"? Speedy taggingHi. Thanks for patrolling new pages, a vital and under-appreciated task, but it is important to get the right tag. You tagged Nat zang with {{db-nocontext}}, "a very short article lacking sufficient context to identify the subject of the article." That's for things like "He is a funny man with a red car. He makes people laugh." In this case, though it was certainly short, the subject of the article was clear: this actor Nat Zang. The right tag was {{db-person}}. It's important to choose the right tag so that the article author, probably a newbie, understands the problem and may do better next time. It's worth reading through the definitions at WP:CSD, and checking with that list if you are in any doubt. There is good advice for speedy taggers from an experienced admin at WP:10CSD and WP:A7M. Wait a bitIt is suggested that pages that might meet CSD A7 criteria not be tagged for deletion immediately after they are created. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks. I tried my best to follow DTR, however I noticed that you tagged Sriviswesh babu. I agree that it was not notable, however maybe the editor could attempt to prove they are. The reason I did this is the current source that is cited identifies her with "kate". I was actually in the middle of reviewing the change when you accepted it, and was about to decline the change. I'd suggest letting "kate" stay until a Reliable Source is provided that contradicts the current one. --Cameron11598 (Talk) 01:22, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
ClothesHi, KGirlTrucker81! Thanks for your contributions, it looks like you're learning your way around very well and quickly. I wanted to discuss the part of your user page where you say, So, it's up to you whether you want to keep that sentence or not, but I wanted to let you know about this aspect. I used to work with people with autism, and a lot of them had trouble with the complicated unspoken social rules about sex and bodies, so I wasn't sure if this had occurred to you. Thanks for reading, and keep up the good work! FourViolas (talk) 03:01, 9 August 2016 (UTC)

CopyviosJust a bit of advice: Before you mark (clearly promotional) new articles as reviewed, as you did at Walter Kolm, you should probably check that they're free of major copyright violations. Deor (talk) 22:46, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
Jared dines PRODI'm glad you got to it before I did. Honestly there is notability for him, but that page is an absolute mess right now and perhaps a bit of WP:TNT wouldn't be a bad thing. RickinBaltimore (talk) 17:13, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
Major BLP, not blankingThis edit was not blanking - it was a major BLP issue. Issuing a blanking warning is not exactly helpful. Toddst1 (talk) 22:14, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
BLPPROD'sI've seen you get this wrong a few times now, so I figured I'd take a moment to explain. For this process, external links count as sources, provided they mention the subject. Specifically, WP:BLPPROD say: the process requires that the article contain no sources in any form (as references, external links, etc.), which support any statements made about the person in the biography (Emphasis original). I hope that clears things up. Sir Sputnik (talk) 13:43, 12 August 2016 (UTC) I have unreviewed a page you curatedHi, I'm Kudpung. LavaBaron (talk) 22:48, 12 August 2016 (UTC) Andrzej KochanowskiNice to meet You at Wikipedia. Thank You for reviewing my article about Andrzej Kochanowski, the poet and translator. There is only one thing, I don't understand: how a man dead for over four centuries can be given a biography of a living person? Is there a wrong link or did You mean another Andrzej Kochanowski? Thanks once again. (Anagram16 (talk) 22:37, 12 August 2016 (UTC))
About edits I made that you reverted.Twice I edited the List of serial killers in the United States-article to mention that Grim Sleeper was sentenced to death, and you reverted my edit both times. For this reason, I am contacting you directly on your talk page to discuss my edits. During my first edit, I mentioned in my edit summary that, at the time of that writing, the Grim Sleeper-article said that Lonnie David Franklin, Jr. was sentenced to death by the Los Angeles Superior Court on August 10, 2016. You reverted that edit, claiming that I "Didn't provide an source to confrim it". Did you try reading the Grim Sleeper-article before claiming that I "Didn't provide an source to confrim it"? During my second edit I made the same edit and added this source from the Los Angeles Times ([1]) in my edit summary. You reverted that edit too, saying "Please include it and I'll be happy to accept it" in your edit summary despite me providing the source in my edit summary.
Well, yeah, I could have provided a source in the article, but how many sources does that article cite for the various claims it makes? At the time of this writing, I count one ([2]). Do you think all claims within this article that aren't sourced should be removed since they aren't (at the time of this writing) sourced?80.167.173.189 (talk) 22:30, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
Okay, I have made the edit to the List of serial killers in the United States-article again and cited this ([3]) as my source within the article in question. Is that okay then?80.167.173.189 (talk) 23:16, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
I made a mistake in my earlier edit. I wrote that the accessdate was August 13, 2016, because, in my time zone, it was August 13, 2016 when I made that edit. I have fixed that mistake.80.167.173.189 (talk) 23:30, 12 August 2016 (UTC) Proposed deletion of Jordy Lokando and Nick GillekensWhat references (they have played 1 professional match) can I put ? Talk page clean-up
Sorry, but I've declined your A7 on that one. It's not a bio of a real person - it's about a book by someone called Scot Gardner. Whether it's notable or not I can't say, but it is published by Houghton Miflin Harcourt, which gives it more chance than CreateSpace would. As an article it would need work to be a success - just being a plot summary isn't good enough. There isn't a speedy criterion for it, really, so I'd suggest doing a bit of Google (other search engines are available...) searching, and then prod or AfD if no reliable independent sources turn up. Have a talk with MelanieN or Ritchie333 if you think there IS a chance. They're good rescuers who have worked with me on things like this before. (I've not found anything much recently for them - that could mean the new articles are getting better or that they are getting worse...) A7, by the way, is for living or dead people, organisations, named animals, organised events, and web content only. Fictional people (and the undead...) don't come in. Mind you, it's not easy to tell sometimes. This one gave it away by the use of 'characters'. Peridon (talk) 21:03, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
Hey KGirlTrucker81, thanks for the warm welcome and for going over my new article. I just realized that since I am mostly translating the German article on Katrin Hattenhauer, I might have to go thru special procedures. Could you help me with that? Thanks again. --Your Highness (talk) 12:26, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
Can't get a definitive year on Vanessa StaceySince the article says she was born 1979, the August 7 page must reflect this. However, I am not sold on that year, because there is a string of references going back 10 years: first it was 1973(IMDB), then 1975, then 1977, then 1979. It looks like she doesn't want to get older. I will leave it at 1979 until someone finds a birth certificate. But I'm betting she's 43. Dfoofnik 72.200.20.62 (talk) 23:14, 15 August 2016 (UTC)

Jacob Zuma - pending changes reviewHello KGirlTrucker81, I am assuming that you accepting this pending edit was a honest mistake, as the edit could be seen as openly racist vandalism. Please be a lot more careful, when reviewing pending edits - especially edits to biographies of living people and other possibly controversial content. If you have any doubt about a pending edit - happens to me all the time -, just skip it and let another editor make the decision. Thank you for your consideration.
