The drive completed with 23851 reviews done in total, bringing the redirect backlog to 0 (momentarily). Congratulations to Hey man im josh who led with a staggering 4316 points, followed by Meena and Greyzxq with 2868 and 2546 points respectively. See this page for more details. The redirect queue is steadily rising again and is steadily approaching 4,000. Please continue to help out, even if it's only for a few or even one review a day. Redirect autopatrol: All administrators without autopatrol have now been added to the redirect autopatrol list. If you see any users who consistently create significant amounts of good quality redirects, consider requesting redirect autopatrol for them here. WMF work on PageTriage: The WMF Moderator Tools team, consisting of Sam, Jason and Susana, and also some patches from Jon, has been hard at work updating PageTriage. They are focusing their efforts on modernising the extension's code rather than on bug fixes or new features, though some user-facing work will be prioritised. This will help make sure that this extension is not deprecated, and is easier to work on in the future. In the next month or so, we will have an opt-in beta test where new page patrollers can help test the rewrite of Special:NewPagesFeed, to help find bugs. We will post more details at WT:NPPR when we are ready for beta testers. Articles for Creation (AFC): All new page reviewers are now automatically approved for Articles for Creation draft reviewing (you do not need to apply at WT:AFCP like was required previously). To install the AFC helper script, visit Special:Preferences, visit the Gadgets tab, tick "Yet Another AFC Helper Script", then click "Save". To find drafts to review, visit Special:NewPagesFeed, and at the top left, tick "Articles for Creation". To review a draft, visit a submitted draft, click on the "More" menu, then click "Review (AFCH)". You can also comment on and submit drafts that are unsubmitted using the script. You can review the AFC workflow at WP:AFCR. It is up to you if you also want to mark your AFC accepts as NPP reviewed (this is allowed but optional, depends if you would like a second set of eyes on your accept). Don't forget that draftspace is optional, so moves of drafts to mainspace (even if they are not ready) should not be reverted, except possibly if there is conflict of interest. Pro tip: Did you know that visual artists such as painters have their own SNG? The most common part of this "creative professionals" criteria that applies to artists is WP:ARTIST 4b (solo exhibition, not group exhibition, at a major museum) or 4d (being represented within the permanent collections of two museums). Page ReviewThank you for reviewing the Slingshot_(whiskey) page. I created another page which hasn't yet been reviewed. As I'm a new editor, I don't know how long these things typically take, but the whiskey page all happened quite quickly which maybe gave me a misleading impression. Anyhow, would you mind taking a look at it? It's Jeremy Leibler. Whitemancanjump23 (talk) 05:17, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
NPP schoolHi, thanks for replying to my message on the new page previewer talk page. I'm happy to be part of the NPP school, I might not be able tomorrow (Friday) but I will be available on Saturday if this is okay with you? Thanks, SarahTHunter (talk) 12:52, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Bicolai Eigtved buildings![]() A tag has been placed on Category:Bicolai Eigtved buildings indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 01:10, 11 August 2023 (UTC) NPPSCHOOL requestHi, I am interested in starting NPP school. Given your recent edit to WP:NPPSCHOOL, I'd like to see if you would be willing to take me on as a student. I am familiar with some basic NPP skills, but I would like to gain a comprehensive understanding of how exactly things work so that I can be confident I am doing them correctly. Thanks for any help you can provide, —PlanetJuice (talk • contribs) 03:09, 11 August 2023 (UTC)

A team of up to ten coordinators will be elected for the next coordination year. The project coordinators are the designated points of contact for issues concerning the project, and are responsible for maintaining our internal structure and processes. They do not, however, have any authority over article content or editor conduct, or any other special powers. More information on being a coordinator is available here. If you are interested in running, please sign up here by 23:59 UTC on 14 September! Voting will commence on 15 September. If you have any questions, you can contact any member of the current coord team. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 09:13, 9 September 2023 (UTC) New pages patrol newsletterHello Joseywales1961, ![]() Backlog update: At the time of this message, there are 11,300 articles and 15,600 redirects awaiting review. This is the highest backlog in a long time. Please help out by doing additional reviews! October backlog elimination drive: A one-month backlog drive for October will start in one week! Barnstars will be awarded based on the number of articles and redirects patrolled. Articles will earn 4x as many points compared to redirects. You can sign up here. PageTriage code upgrades: Upgrades to the PageTriage code, initiated by the NPP open letter in 2022 and actioned by the WMF Moderator Tools Team in 2023, are ongoing. More information can be found here. As part of this work, the Special:NewPagesFeed now has a new version in beta! The update leaves the NewPagesFeed appearance and function mostly identical to the old one, but updates the underlying code, making it easier to maintain and helping make sure the extension is not decommissioned due to maintenance issues in the future. You can try out the new Special:NewPagesFeed here - it will replace the current version soon. Notability tip: Professors can meet WP:PROF #1 by having their academic papers be widely cited by their peers. When reviewing professor articles, it is a good idea to find their Google Scholar or Scopus profile and take a look at their h-index and number of citations. As a very rough rule of thumb, for most fields, articles on people with a h-index of twenty or more, a first-authored paper with more than a thousand citations, or multiple papers each with more than a hundred citations are likely to be kept at AfD. Reviewing tip: If you would like like a second opinion on your reviews or simply want another new page reviewer by your side when patrolling, we recommend pair reviewing! This is where two reviewers use Discord voice chat and screen sharing to communicate with each other while reviewing the same article simultaneously. This is a great way to learn and transfer knowledge. Reminders:
MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 16:45, 22 September 2023 (UTC) Hello Joseywales1961 -- I understand your concerns about this article, but looking at Jaan Nissar Lone it was repeatedly created in 2019, so there is a real possibility that notability has been achieved in the ensuing years, especially as several of the awards post-date that time. I think an AfD will be needed to clear this one up, one way or the other. Regards, Espresso Addict (talk) 03:03, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
I understand the problem of there being a broken reference on the page but I have absolutely no idea how to fix it. The problem is that the page being transcluded from has a reference on it that is sourced elsewhere on that page. I even looked at another page that must have had to deal with the same problem, but I couldn't see how I was doing anything differently. If you have any idea how to fix it, please let me know! Stephen 11:04, 25 October 2023 (UTC) Arch of Charents sourcesHi Joseywales1961. You edited my Arch of Charents page and you removed 4 of my sources. Although I agree with you on most of them, I have to mention that I used those sources because there aren't many websites that have reliable information on Arch of Charents and most of them are travel websites. I have to mention that the use of the YouTube video " Ռաֆայել Իսրայելյան" was used in the Western Armenian version of the website and is the only reason why I used it. Unless you again say that it's unreliable, I am going to add it, but thank you for suggesting improvements on my page. Spino-Soar-Us (talk) 09:12, 27 October 2023 (UTC)

SOS - The San Onofre Syndrome film Page DeletionHi Joseywales1961, thank you so much for adding your comment explaining your deletion. Please help me as I am pretty new to creating pages. I made an effort to give the source for every sentence I wrote. I copied the Synopsis of the film from its website and I got a Deletion warning about Notability etc, is copying a published synopsis not allowed? Then I thought you wanted more reliable sources so I copied one paragraph from two different publications to show diverse opinions on the film's content thinking that would be interesting to Wikipedia. Could you please help me on how to proceed. It is an important film on an important issue that was just release and got a top award at a L.A. festival just as it was released. Many thanks!
