--Lajmmoore (talk 18:47, 29 November 2024 (UTC) via MassMessaging Autopatrolled statusHi. Thank you for the nomination. I had autopatrolled status for a while but never used it in any way. I didn't know what it was but I thought it was a nice recognition for my editing. When I lost it with Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive1109#Autopatrolled I was not aware of the discussion and I didn't understand what I did wrong. I felt hounded with users demanding I lose a right I had never even used and I considered leaving Wikipedia all together. Since then I have definitely improved as an editor, but not sure what qualifies as "substantial page creation" though. I don't know what I could even do to get it back but it's okay. Thanks again. - Moondragon21 (talk 11:28, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
Draft article creationHi Baqi, I have seen that my first Wikipedia draft article Draft:Pauk Ko Taw was rejected again, even if it was a notable subject with credible and reliable references, it got rejected. The article certainly is well-written, encyclopedic, sourced, and neutral. Can you explain why and how can I fix it? Where is there left to fix? Thank you! Question from Amdiin1129i (03:39, 3 December 2024)How can I make sure a citation in foreign language can be identified as credible citations --Amdiin1129i (talk) 03:39, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
Draft article creationHi Jannatulbaqui, Thank you for your feedback on Draft:Gamezop. I have carefully reviewed the concerns regarding notability and references. I have now added multiple reliable, secondary sources with significant coverage of the subject, ensuring they meet Wikipedia's guidelines for notability and independence. I kindly request you to review the updated submission. Please let me know if any further improvements are needed. Thank you for your time and consideration. Best regards, Kiran More Morekiranwiki (talk) 08:18, 4 December 2024 (UTC) Primi Nécega, and citing translationsHi Jannatulbaqi. It looks like your recent article Primi Nécega contains translation from the existing article on glwiki. For copyright reasons, those translations need to be attributed in your edit summaries. See Help:Translation#Attribution. Also some of the references seem to have been accidentally mangled -- for example, the first paragraph of the "Career" section was attributed to this statistical report from 2024, which as far as I can tell doesn't mention Nécega at all. The same paragraph on glwiki is referenced by an article in La Comarca del Eo that I don't have access to. (According to this, "it is only available on specific computers at [Biblioteca Nacional de España] facilities or at the Conservation Centers of the Autonomous Communities.") I've removed that citation. Similarly, the second paragraph in "Career" was referenced by an article on paper folding (again no mention of Nécegas), whereas the glwiki article references this newpaper piece on her -- I've changed that. Query about BLP Guidelines concerning low-profile/high-profile figuresHi, I am addressing this to you, as you were recently assigned as my mentor on Wikipedia. I have a query about the BLP guidelines and the criteria for low-profile and high-profile figures. If for example, the subject of the article was deemed high-profile due to giving a recent interview to the press, what would have to change for them to be considered low-profile again? If they stopped talking to the media for an extended period of time and no longer had a high-profile career, could they become low-profile? Secondly, if the subject was deemed low-profile, would that be a justified reason to remove any information not relevant to their original reason for notability that could harm their reputation, such as a historic conviction that is now spent? In brief, what is the general guideline to determine whether a previously high-profile figure has now become low-profile? And, if they do become low-profile, would that justify any information, unrelated to notability, being removed for harm and balancing reasons? --Lajmmoore (talk 17:52, 28 December 2024 (UTC) via MassMessaging 2025 Update from Women in Green![]() ![]() Hello Jannatulbaqi: 2024 has wrapped up, and what a full year it was for WikiProject Women in Green! Over the past year, we hosted two edit-a-thons, one themed around women's history and another on women around the world. We also managed to achieve most of our 2024 annual goals, nominating 75 articles for GA, reviewing 64 GA nominations, nominating 8 articles for FAC, peer reviewing 3 articles and reviewing 10 FAC nominations. Excellent work, and thank you to everyone involved! For 2025 we have a new set of goals for nominations and reviews. In particular, we would like to see more articles on our Hot 100 list being improved and nominated for GA this year. If you take a look at the list and see an article you are interested in contributing to, feel free to add it and yourself to our Hot 100 project discussion. You might even find someone interested in collaborating with you! This year, as with every year, we hope you will join us in helping improve our coverage of women and women's works on this encyclopedia. Every contribution helps. We'll see you around! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 09:47, 3 January 2025 (UTC) P. RagulvarmaHi Jannatulbaqi. I wanted to let you know that I have just speedily deleted this article which you just accepted at WP:AFC: P. Ragulvarma. It appears the user created the article as a hoax by copy-pasting content from this one—R. S. Munirathinam—substituting their own name instead. This isn't the first time they have done this—they were blocked previously under the username RMR2004, see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/RAGULVARMA PRABHU. Because of this, in my opinion the article qualified for speedy deletion per WP:G3 (blatant hoax) and WP:G5 (creation by blocked user in violation of a block, where there are no significant edits by other editors). Please let me know if you have any questions. Best, Mz7 (talk) 08:40, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
Thoughts on Catholic-Hierarchy.org?Thank you for spending time on the Wojciech Radoszewski article. I saw that you removed the reference to Catholic-Hierarchy.org. Could you offer your thoughts behind that? It does appear to be a self-published source, but it also potentially meets the SME standards found in WP:RSSELF given that it is used as a source in some peer-reviewed journal articles and other edited material. The site also has mechanisms for corrections and appears to meticulously cite the sources that it uses. Perhaps the positive qualities of the site do not outweigh its self-published nature, though? Thank you. OldPolandUpdates (talk) 17:02, 9 January 2025 (UTC)

They are articles and that is what they are called on Wikipedia. Wikipedia isn't a book. Please refer to them as such. Thanks. scope_creepTalk 08:48, 27 January 2025 (UTC)
