Welcome! Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (~~~) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! The Wheel of Time MergeSince you worked on this page recently, I wanted to let you know that Lowellian (talk) has reverted all the articles involved in the merge. Please join the discussion and see if we can all come to an agreement. This note is to alert you -- I hope that future discussion of this can mostly take place at talk:The Wheel of Time#Book Merge. I will be following that page. DES 16:31, 12 July 2005 (UTC) By-electionsWe could, but I don't really see the point, as the result is clear in all three cases. Ambi 01:30, 18 September 2005 (UTC) Suburb disambiguationsI just noticed that you've been creating some for New South Wales towns - but is there any chance you could do a bit of a search when you add them, so as to catch some of the other potential meanings? As an example, there's about five people called Ashcroft in Wikipedia, a court case and a couple of towns. It's not that important, but it does make the disambiguation pages somewhat more useful. Ambi 07:40, 18 September 2005 (UTC) Re:Chance in NZ/VicHi JPD - as I told Cassowary, I'm just going from the people I know from around Aus - so I must simply know the "posher' Victorians. Mind you, my view may be a little unusual in that my own accent still has strong southern English overtones so I don't really have a "natural" ear for NZ or Australian accents. Grutness...wha? 09:43, 4 October 2005 (UTC) French ensignsThanks for your comment on my RfA! By way of explanation (also posted to the RfA),
Just to let you know, I can't argue the French ensigns, and related French colonial flags issue on their related talkpages due to a stupid injunction. However, I can continue the defense on the user talkpages.

I hope I will be able to live up to the confidence placed in me. --Cyberjunkie | Talk 04:27, 19 October 2005 (UTC) Re: Category renameIt should be fine to go ahead and rename it without submitting it to CfD. If anyone has a problem with it, it is always reversible. Though, I don't see why anyone would. --Cyberjunkie | Talk 12:38, 26 October 2005 (UTC) Hey. I changed your db-copyvio to a copyvio since I didn't see that green-trust was directly involved in making money from that content, which is the criteria for deletion in that manner. It was blatant copyvio though but I don't think it fits the CSD. Feel free to comment on my talk. gren グレン 10:55, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
Doh! Fingers are moving too fast. I'll fix it. Thanks for the notice. slambo 17:37, 27 October 2005 (UTC) User pagesD'oh! He/she was a new user without either a user or a talk page, and I got the wrong one. Thanks for catching that, I've moved my message. --Bob Mellish 16:20, 31 October 2005 (UTC) Football projectCheers mate, thanks for the feedback. No-one has really helped me with the project as yet, so thanks for acknowledging it. See the discussion page for my comments.Rogerthat 09:58, 1 November 2005 (UTC) Re: Batting GraphsActually, I was just thinking that I probably should do that for the current players, so I will. I plan to update them after each test series. Thanks for the comments. Raven4x4x 11:26, 1 November 2005 (UTC) Western Sahara Infobox/VoteI'm going to remove my comments form the talk page (including your reply) although they will be preserved in the history. I see that Daryou has previously addressed this question in a prior section and I'm satisfied with his response. He's also convinced me to change my vote, although there doesn't seem to be a section that will allow me to support the no flags with information option. I now understand what you meant (and what you were referring to) in your initial reply. Sorry for the confusion. --Viriditas | Talk 14:09, 11 November 2005 (UTC) Australian Aboriginal flag is the current ACOTFHi. You voted for Australian Aboriginal flag to be selected as Australian Collaboration of the fortnight. It has now been selected. Please improve it in any way you see fit. Thanks. --Scott Davis Talk 13:57, 27 November 2005 (UTC) WP:CricketHe is a troll who has been doing this sort of stuff for a few weeks now. Shane Warne used to be the main scene of his activity, now it is Adam Gilchrist. It is better to ignore him on the talk pages. Tintin 14:22, 28 November 2005 (UTC)
Northern beaches lineThanks for adding the deletion comment. Steven Fitter 23:36, 29 November 2005 (UTC) Re:Other New Zealand Flag conceptsNot sure why you think that none of the flags shown on this page is from FOTW. As the designer of one of those flags, I can tell you that I drew the gif that is shown on this page as the proposed flag of Ross Dependency, and the only place on the web it has ever been sent is FOTW - so if it didn't come from there, someone must have stolen then from my computer. FitzroyBecause despite its claims,, the post merger club is not legally the same club as the pre-merger one - the original Fitzroy Football Club ceased to exist upon the merger just as the Brisbane Bears Football Club ceased to exist at the same time. Given who my grandfather was, i am hardly likely to disrespect Aussie Rules. PMA 19:08, 4 December 2005 (UTC)

I'm looking forward to spending my summer holidays shut away in a darkened room, drinking G&Ts and playing with my new tools ;-) Please accept this Tim Tam as a token of my gratitude. Thanks for voting in my recent RfA. I was overwhelmed at the turnout and comments received.
Hi there, just wanting your opinion on whether Newtown High School of the Performing Arts is a "selective high school"? User:Joestella says that it is, but I disagree with him: see User_talk:Joestella#Newtown_High_School_of_the_Performing_Arts_2. I guess it goes back to what we should include as a "selective school"? In its current form, it includes academically selective only I would say? enochlau (talk) 01:36, 20 December 2005 (UTC) RE: Your RfCI have noted your post, and will respond when I could find the time to shortly. Re: Queensland Governor's flagI forget by now what the reference was. I'll try and find it again. I think I recall being awfully surprised by the late date, given (as you say) the age of the design. It might just've been a typo on my part, though. —Felix the Cassowary 10:35, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

Thank you and best regards. :) Daryou 19:11, 16 January 2006 (UTC) Just incase if people ask for a photo of this flag, you can go ahead and use http://fotw.vexillum.com/images/a/au_cust.gif and put it under {{CC-by-sa}} under my name. Centenary flagHi, do you have any idea how many points the Commonwealth Star on the Centenary Flag has? Also, from the details on the FOTW page it seems there is a ledger of use for the flag. Both these probably rate a mention in the section, I'll try and find some more concrete details, I'd appreciate if you'd look too, two sets of eyes are better than one. --nixie 22:19, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
ApologyMy comment to you was totally uncalled for. The comment that your comment was "impressively restrained" put your comment in a much worse context to where I felt personally attacked. However, I should not have responded in the way that I did and I apologize. BlueGoose 02:21, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

Regards A Y Arktos 21:08, 4 March 2006 (UTC) This article was intended to be comprehensible to all mathematicians. It was not intended to teach mathematical induction. It was not intended to explain what mathematical induction is, nor how to use it. What I see is (mostly) a bunch of non-mathematicians looking at the stub form in which the article appeared when it was nominated from deletion, and seeing that
And so I have now expanded the article far beyond the stub stage, including
Therefore, I invite those who voted to delete before I did these recent de-stubbing edits, to reconsider their votes in light of the current form of the article. I noticed you restored the prod tag on Clemson University Football after it was removed. Don't do that. Prod is only for uncontroversial deletions, so any objection counts. In order to gain consensus and move forward there is currently a discussion about whether the scope of the template should be Great Britain or the United Kingdom. You have previously commented on this tempate but have not yet made any remarks in the latest discussion. For example, use {{subst:test}} instead of {{test}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template.
