User talk:JB82/Archive 8Translation help wantedHello JB82. I am looking for someone to help me translate articles from English to French. I would put an equal effort into helping them translate articles from French to English. For more details see Translation partner wanted--Toploftical (talk) 20:48, 3 April 2017 (UTC) Union Station (Brattleboro, Vermont)Please stop your ridiculous changes to the infobox of this article. Putting the parameters out of their usual order and with nonstandard spacing makes it more difficult for editors to make changes. Furthermore, you need to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you make to articles. You are an experienced editor and you should know better than to make unexplained changes. We noticed though that when you edited St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Vanity Fair. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. Since the last newsletter, the VisualEditor Team has spent most of their time supporting the 2017 wikitext editor mode which is available inside the visual editor as a Beta Feature, and adding the new visual diff tool. Their workboard is available in Phabricator. You can find links to the work finished each week at mw:VisualEditor/Weekly triage meetings. Their current priorities are fixing bugs, supporting the 2017 wikitext editor as a beta feature, and improving the visual diff tool. Recent changesA new wikitext editing mode is available as a Beta Feature on desktop devices. The 2017 wikitext editor has the same toolbar as the visual editor and can use the citoid service and other modern tools. Go to Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-betafeatures to enable the ⧼Visualeditor-preference-newwikitexteditor-label⧽. A new visual diff tool is available in VisualEditor's visual mode. You can toggle between wikitext and visual diffs. More features will be added to this later. In the future, this tool may be integrated into other MediaWiki components. [1] The team have added multi-column support for lists of footnotes. The Other changes:

—User:Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 23:14, 28 February 2018 (UTC) Disambiguation link notification for April 14Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Phi Eta Sigma, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages St. Michael's College and Newbury College (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.) I noticed that you recently removed content from WTEN without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
