New ProjectMyself and several other editors have been compiling a list of very active editors who would likely be available to help new editors in the event they have questions or concerns. As the list grew and the table became more detailed, it was determined that the best way to complete the table was to ask each potential candidate to fill in their own information, if they so desire. This list is sorted geographically in order to provide a better estimate as to whether the listed editor is likely to be active. If you consider yourself a very active Wikipedian who is willing to help newcomers, please either complete your information in the table or add your entry. If you do not want to be on the list, either remove your name or just disregard this message and your entry will be removed within 48 hours. The table can be found at User:Useight/Highly Active, as it has yet to have been moved into the Wikipedia namespace. Thank you for your help. Vandalism from FinlandHello there. Notice you gave user Kreegah several warnings. Thank g-d, finally! New vandalism has occurred in "List of North European Jews", "List of Canadian Jews" and "List of Manitobans", checked "Canadian Who's Who" and "Who`s who in the world" all show that the edit was bogus, so I reverted, am not a regular user here, though so it was just a fluke, also vandalism seems to be race-related. There have been several major vandalism sprees of this type, most originating in Finland, Sweden and Czeck. LegoKontribsTalkM 02:29, 7 May 2008 (UTC) Edits to Twin articleMy recent edit to the Twin article does not at all constitute vandalism. I made a legitimate edit: one which improves the article by rewriting (or in this case, omitting) redundant phrases. Wikipedia's definition of vandalism is "any addition, removal, or change of content made in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia." I have not done any of this. You warned the person who kept re-adding the song "Parasite" without citing sources, he's completely stopped editing, for which I thank you. But now we have a new user, Disturbed92893, having an edit war with me about the song. I've told him to stop editing, unless he has a source to cite, but he continues editing, without a source, and has told me he will not stop editing because he "knows" (AKA speculates) that it is on this album, although, clearly, there's no official statement. I was wondering if you could warn this user please, and possibly place a protection on the page Indestructible. Thank you, tell me what happens please. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dude527 (talk • contribs) 04:23, 15 May 2008 (UTC) This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. I would have to note in turn, however, that any editor who automatically reverts an edit without reading the content of the edit is guilty of WP:VANDALISM. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 18:18, 16 May 2008 (UTC) This is getting annoyingThis stupid constant posting of Indestructible is getting annoying. People keep re-posting Parasite (not constantly, like before, but I got home and I think 3 people edited it back up). They even deleted your tag saying that Parasite should not be kept up, they changed it to something like "Keep Parasite up because it was on Inside the Fire single CD, so it belongs on this list". Are you sure "very" isn't an understatement? I'm surprised at some people, for how surprisingly dumb they can be. I mean that level isn't in my capacity unless you get me drunk... Dude527 (talk) 01:27, 17 May 2008 (UTC) Oh my, now people keep re-adding Parasite to Disturbed Discography under "B-sides to Indestructible". It never ends, why do I even try to keep Wikipedia factual anymore? Oh and the user who you gave a formal level four warning, said if we block him, he will create a new account. Dude527 (talk) 02:01, 17 May 2008 (UTC) Well, I guess it's ok, many people tend to skipthe "discography" and go to the track listings for the individual albums, the best we could do is keep Parasite off of there as much as possible, and hope people overlook it when it is there. Once I'm sure what it is, I'll give it a shot. :) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:39, 22 May 2008 (UTC) Thank you
Your Sig....Doesn't work on a white background and this is something that most users and pretty much every newbie will be editing against. Would you mind considering a change to a sig with darker colours - or at least more contrast anyway. Cheers Spartaz Humbug! 08:19, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

While it's correct that the edit was significantly damaging, it's also a fairly typical newer user or fat-fingered editing error. It didn't look like vandalism at all - vandals rarely put in an apparently correct interwiki link replacing the article content. That was pretty obviously an attempt to append the correct interwiki link which went wrong. Please remember not to bite the newbies. Telling someone who made a mistake that they did so and asking them to be more careful is entirely appropriate. Telling them not to vandalize isn't. Thanks! Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 00:57, 28 May 2008 (UTC) Salwa JudumYou reverted edits I made to the Salwa Judum page. There is no complaint against you. I just want to bring to your attention that the page gives information solely from Maoist and Marxist-Leninist sources and request your help in cleaning it up. I don't want to rewrite it and see it getting edited away. First, I agree that the charge of defending pedophilia was without any evidence, but it was actually based on their defence of the Maoists abducting hundreds of children leading to charges of pedophilia. I don't understand why you reverted the word 'popular' though. That is actually a fair representation. Naxalite is a dirty word in India! So Salwa Judum is actually hugely popular. The "human rights" organization, PUCL, actually has a one point agenda -- that of crying out against "injustices" against Naxalites. IOW, it is a Naxalite front. So what the page has is actually a POV. I don't see why the truth should be suppressed on Wikipedia. If the Maoists were actually popular and Salwa Judum was unpopular, why do the Maoists need guns and why do they have to hide in the wooded mountains? They would just sweep the elections. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.24.76.176 (talk) 13:24, 28 May 2008 (UTC) Antivandal tool and shiny thingI'm currently quite curious as to what tool you must use to have beaten me to the revert at least a dozen times in the last few minutes. Or do you just have very fast fingers?
Heh, LOL. I knew there was some way to get you off the revert button for a minute to give me a chance. ;) Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 22:04, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

RE: adviceAhh, thanks! didnt know that. Users either removing them or simply creating a page with the hangon tag already there annoy me something special. Ironholds 19:01, 30 May 2008 (UTC) This is enoughHello, J.delanoy. I'm contacting you for your opinion, let me explain. That user, Deblopper, and I, are basically having a war in the discussions. (Not articles) I'm sick of debating whether or not we should add speculation to the article, this user wants to name this article "Prince of Persia: Prodigy", they even provided a reference. However, they're saying, basically, "The general public believes this to be true, so we must apply it to the article." The reference they provided states this: "First, what do we call it? Though the Ubidays press materials listed the title's name as Prince of Persia Prodigy, the very same name recently trademarked by the IP-owner Jordan Mechner, Mattes wouldn't confirm that that was the final title: "I don't think we've announced the final title."" That means they haven't announced the final title of the game, doesn't it? The user even told me that, even though that reference states that the game is not confirmed to be titled "Prodigy", that we should name it so, because the fans are speculating it. Here is the discussion, where this user clearly states that, because this title is speculated, we should add it. Tells me to stop using my opinion, which I'm not doing I'm simply trying to stick to rules and keep it factual. I find it surprising they use opinions on factual based articles, don't you? Anyways, in conclusion, just give me your opinion, based on the facts, whether the page should be called Prince of Persia: Prodigy or Prince of Persia (2008). Dude527 (talk) 03:29, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
