User talk:InMontrealAmerican call signsTV Guide is not a reliable source for call signs, you must use what the FCC has on their database. If the FCC lists KCPQ as simply KCPQ, it will remain KCPQ in the list. Very few American stations actually have the -DT suffix. єmarsee • Speak up! 04:59, 8 December 2009 (UTC) CHRO-TV
@InMontreal; Δ happens to be correct here. If you look at WP:NFC #10c, it states that there must be a separate, specific fair use rationale for each use of a non-free image. Now looking at File:CTV Two.png, there is no rationale there for the use you are attempting on the CHRO-TV article. There is one for A (TV system), but not CHRO-TV. Accusing Δ of vandalism, being a bot and of not reading is hardly constructive. Further, attempting to escalate the situation by taking this to WP:AIV when you had been informed of the policy by Δ above was highly inappropriate. Δ is correct. Either fix the problem, or do not restore the image. Continuing to edit war without fixing the problem will go poorly for you, as doing so is clearly in violation of several policies. If you have questions, ask. But, continuing as you have been is not an option if you want to retain your editing privileges here. --Hammersoft (talk) 18:31, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

Re:LogosI remember dealing with a few users who removed NFCC images from many Canadian TV articles several years ago and it's something I'd rather not get involved in again. All it creates is pointless edit wars, stress and drama spreading over several articles and talkpages. This is likely going to be my only response on this issue and is merely my own opinion. WP:NFCC should not be trumped by a Wikipedia's own policies, and WP:TVS acknowledges that. From what I interpret from WP:NFG, non-free galleries are allowed if the images can be justified, and that usually means meeting NFCC 3a (minimal usage) and 8 (significance). 3a usually isn't an issue on articles regarding TV stations, since the image will not be used outside the article and will only be used once. The former revision does violate 3a since the current logo is repeated twice in the article. I'd be for the removal of that. I'd argue that minimal usage can also be achieved by removing the current alternate logo, and the 2001 logo since it bears a strong resemblance to the current logo and per WP:TVS "Do not add a logo if the only thing that has changed from the previous logo is the finish of the image." Significance can be achieved by adding commentary to the logo, preferably with reliable sources. I don't remember the article but non-free images were kept on an Canadian television article due to the introduction of sourced commentary. If those points are met, I think the image gallery can stay. On another note, the NBC and ABC logos page are sourced and critical commentary is provided, so that's probably the reason why those pages still exist. █ EMARSEE 01:42, 15 August 2013 (UTC) Hi, Hi, ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!Hello, InMontreal. Update neededHi, the article Le SuperClub Vidéotron is up to date but the same in Wikipedia in French is out of date, with this text source of this: Here, you could select all the text source of that page, copy the text source and then paste the text source on the article in Wikipedia in French, don’t forget to remove the actual text source of the article, the text source will work correctly on Wikipedia in French. I don’t know why, I tried but I’m not able, maybe because that I don’t have account. Thank you to do that for me, the article will be better after with the logo of today and a more appropriate color infobox...✋😀--185.92.26.14 (talk) 20:56, 4 October 2018 (UTC) ArbCom 2018 election voter messageHello, InMontreal.
