Well first of all, I am not an Administrator, but I could help by showing you a few links. Read this to see what we want to see before becoming an admin and this to see what we don't want to see. Also read our policies to get familiar with Wikipedia. Its hard and only a few have earned the right. You may also want to read what Jimmy Wales (Wikipedia's founder) said here about admin rights. How can I user twinkle, i think it would help me a lot with my edits. It is hard trying to warn users of stuff, as i can get carried away with things. I want to look more "official".Goodman1145 (talk) 04:38, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Your going to have to wait until you are auto-confirmed. That takes about 4 days after your first edit. You passed the 10 edit mark, so just wait about 3 more days and you should have it. Also, because it appears you have an old version of a web browser, so you should get the latest version. I don't think it is compatible with Internet Explore, so you may want to get another web browser if you haven't already. I recommend getting Mozilla Firefox. Imperial Monarch (D•R) 05:21, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok thanks, I got a pretty old version of internet explorer, that might also explain why some of my edits had strange things going on. I have to say you and User:Manway have been really nice and helpfull.Goodman1145 (talk) 05:29, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The Guidance Barnstar
Thanks for your help with introducing me to Wikipedia. With your help about how to conduct myself about certain issues, and giving me information about Twinkle and other Wikipedia policies. Goodman1145 (talk) 05:41, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Your request for rollback
Hi Imperial Monarch. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! FASTILY(TALK)01:58, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Forbes Fictional 15
Why did you remove the 2010 list, but kept the rest there? I could see either keeping the most current list or deleting the page. But I don't understand your thinking behind keeping the page, but only including old versions of the list. Can you clarify your thinking? Thanks. M Pinck (talk) 04:40, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
As for your edit, please provide evidence of what you are stating in the article is true, and I'll be fine with it. I will remove the hidden comment you are using to explain your decision for your edit though. ImperialMonarch (D•R) 04:52, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I will allow the edit for this reference [2]. Considering your history, Take my suggestion not to do this [3]if you have a disagreement, you can easily discuss the issue with the editor in a calm manner.ImperialMonarch (D•R) 05:30, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
As you recently got rollback, and have been doing some good vandal patrolling... I just wanted to welcome you to the club. We're a small (too small) group, and we don't get much thanks for our work, but know that it's critically important to this project. So even if you don't hear anything encouraging for a while, just get angry messages from people you RVed, occasionally incorrectly, hold in there, because so long as you're doing this in good faith and with some degree of accuracy, you're helping the project. I respect that. Shadowjams (talk) 08:36, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thankyou for the welcome. I have noticed the change since I got Rollback, my page has been vandalized a lot. I'm just glad to hear I have been helping the site.ImperialMonarch (D•R) 08:42, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not too sure what I did myself. I tried to fix the problem as fast as i could because i was removing a high level of vandalism from a specific editor in a very short period of time. ImperialMonarch (D•R) 10:41, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I just wanted to understand what was taking place... No problems!
Hey, there is an other interesting thing that happen. I have seen that changeswere made by only certain editors (registered) to articles and talk-pages I am watching that are not shown in the change list... Can you possibly know the reason(s)? Thanks. Aregakn (talk) 11:22, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, see... for example I am watching your talk-page and I did not get the report that you made a comment.
Try this, go to your watchlist and at the top, there is a section called "Watchlist options". See if everything says "Hide". If they all do then go yo your preferences (found at the top) and click on the Watchlist section. See if the first 6 boxes are unchecked. If they all say "hide" and the boxes are unchecked, then i have no clue. ImperialMonarch (D•R) 07:54, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Have a barnstar, because of your cleaning of my user page (as well as others, it seems), and because I don't give out nearly enough barnstars for the good things people do. Poulsen (talk) 19:51, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Why was my edit "unconstructive" & "vandalism" and reverted? I reported the ClueBot false positive ... there is CLEARLY nothing in my edit that is vandalism or unconstructive ... it is in fact fixing a glaring error. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.10.134.119 (talk) 21:01, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Since my IP will likely change soon, this is my last comment on the subject. It is probably best if you re-read civil ... in it's entirety, then have a boo at Humour ... kick back, down a brew ... or 6, and reflect on the deeper meanings. Have a good one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.10.134.119 (talk) 02:31, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If it helps, I just filed an SPI; I know they're behaviorally similar but I'm starting to smell a possible man on a mission here, so there may be more socks or an unblocked IP. —Jeremy(v^_^vDittobori)00:06, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've seen worse attacks, but don't you think "Because you have hair problems?" is a little too much? If you have a question about his action, just ask, don't add your speculations.ImperialMonarch (D•R) 16:57, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
sorry...I made confusion...the user chemnerd removed citations in androgenic alopecia without discussing, that's not correct...--250GP (talk) 17:20, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my talk page. It is oh so annoying when people do things like that. At least it doesn't happen too much to me. :) Hi878 (talk) 17:37, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not sure what set this off, but a user using proxies created a bunch of pages in your userspace which I put on CSD and were deleted very quickly. Im letting you know because from what I understand, users arent notified of such pages by the MediaWiki software. —Soap—14:34, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The user was blocked indefinitely and all edits were reverted. If you have any further attack incidents. Please feel free to ask me directly (or really any administrator) for an immediate block.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 15:42, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, sorry about that warning i left on your page a minute or so ago. That was my first edit on Igloo. It doesn't tell me much about who last edited it. Sorry! Pilif12p21:39, 26 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
According to Check-user this account is also a number of other users as shown in your block log. Examination of your contributions show that this is clearly not the account of a new user. Your editing rights have therefore been revoked. If you wish to appeal this block use the unblock template or feel free to email me if you wish to provide a private explanation.
