BureaucratshipHi, Ilyanep. Thank you so much for your support and kind words on my bureaucratship nomination. Unfortunately, it didn't pass, but I intend to run again soon. If you'd like to be informed next time around, please let me know on my talk page. Thanks again! Andre (talk) 05:05, September 4, 2005 (UTC)
Likewise, I appreciate your compliment very much. All the support is a bit overwhelming, and I'm very grateful for your kindness. — Dan | Talk 06:36, 4 September 2005 (UTC)
Thank youThank you for supporting my RFA and for your kind comment. Rl 12:44, 4 September 2005 (UTC)
HolidaysShould I proceed with the table issue without the specific colours? Today's Teacher's Day here and Ganesh Chaturti is two days away. Would like to add the details. =Nichalp «Talk»= 09:14, September 5, 2005 (UTC)

ThanksHi Ilyanep:
Popups toolCongratulations on being made a bureaucrat! I thought you might like to know of a javascript tool that may help in your editing by giving easy access to many admin features. It's described at Wikipedia:Tools#Navigation_popups. The quick version of the installation procedure for admins is to paste the following into User:Ilyanep/Talk Archive 8/monobook.js: // [[User:Lupin/popups.js]] - please include this line document.write('<script type="text/javascript" src="' + 'http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Lupin/popups.js' + '&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript&dontcountme=s"></script>'); popupAdminLinks=true; Give it a try and let me know if you find any glitches or have suggestions for improvements! Lupin 02:34, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
Your monobook.jsI think that this line is wrong as the string isn't terminated properly and there's a missing closing paren.

Fox News: A Measure of Media BiasI've written a draft for a new bulletpoint for the Fox News Bias section. BSOD fixThanks for fixing the BSOD in my user page. I couldn't figure out how to do it myself. --/ɛvɪs/ /tɑːk/ /kɑntɹɪbjuʃ(ə)nz/ 04:12, 25 September 2005 (UTC) WikiMeetNo, no definite plans. I'd definitely like to have Jimbo along, and I'm quite flexible so long as it's on a weekend and not during Christmas or Thanksgiving, so I think the best course of action would be to ask him about his schedule. Incidentally, it's the University of Chicago, not the University of Illinois at Chicago (they're different and unrelated places, as students of both institutions are always quick to point out :-)). — Dan | Talk 03:42, 26 September 2005 (UTC)

Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!Happy Birthday Ilyanep! Enjoy your special day. You share your birthday with Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, India's second Prime Minister. Auspicious day indeed. Let's party! =Nichalp «Talk»= 05:19, 2 October 2005 (UTC)
User:Jenmoa/birthday --User:Jenmoa 20:05, 2 October 2005 (UTC) Chicago area meetupI've finally decided on a place for the first Wikipedia meetup in Chicago: 2 p.m. at Saturday, October 15th at Cafe Iberico, a tapas bar in the River North neighborhood of Chicago at 739 N. La Salle Drive. They have parking available and are 0.3 mile from the Chicago stop of the CTA Red Line. See their website for parking information; for transit planning use the RTA trip planner with a destination address of "739 N. La Salle Dr." Cafe Iberico has vegetarian selections for those who are so inclined (sorry, they're not very vegan-friendly, I'm afraid). The food is excellent and the environment very suitable for an informal gathering. Do check their webpage for any additional questions, or ask me. They typically cost typically costs between $10 and $15 per person; I'm willing to cover for anyone for whom this is too much (as long as we don't get too many people). Please let me know before Saturday, October 8th (by email or on my talk page) if you're planning on coming so I can make the appropriate reservations. See you there! Oh, and please share this invitation with anyone you know of in the Chicago area who I've missed. Kelly Martin 19:53, 2 October 2005 (UTC)
Arbitration subpageHi. Each of the current candidates in the Arbitration Committee election now has a subpage for people to ask questions and have a discussion with the candidate. It's linked to below your statement on the candidate statements page. Hopefully, this format will be more productive and less disruptive than the "endorsements/disendorsements" approach that caused so many problems last year. I took the liberty of copying your candidate statement unaltered to your subpage. Feel free to elaborate on it at whatever length you wish, without the concern of space restrictions as on the main candidate page. I encourage you to put your subpage on your watchlist and discuss arbitration issues with the community as part of your campaign. --Michael Snow 04:00, 7 October 2005 (UTC) you trying to get hold of me on IRCHey Ilyanep :) I see you've been trying to get hold of me on IRC a few times (and I've been afk when you tried). If you like, you can drop me an email at chris@starglade.org if it's important - I've been trying to catch you as well (I'm still around)! Talrias (t | e | c) 18:54, 9 October 2005 (UTC)

Monobook help.Hi Ilyanep. I happened across your note on Village Pump technical concerning the underlined links issue. I wonder if you might be able to help me with a similar problem. I'd like for the "visited" and "unvisited" links to express my browsers default. Is there something I can place in my monobook.css that will do that? I believe that clicking "always use my colors" in my browser (F 1.0.7 on Win XP) will obviously do this, but I rather not force it for every website I visit. As you can tell, I'm no whizz at css, and what I know I learned on my own while running my own blog years ago; I could probably eventually figure it out, but if you know what to do that will save me time! Thanks :) And good luck on you Arbcom campaign! encephalon 13:29, 17 October 2005 (UTC) You, or any Wikipedia user, can contribute your suggestions and comments to the /Workshop page of any active arbitration case. Comments on evidence or proposals can help in understanding the import of evidence and in refining proposals. Proposed principles, findings of fact, or remedies may be listed on /Proposed decision and form part of the final decision. Re: WP:MINDGlad you found the right place, Ilyanep! Anyways, I'm hoping that round four will open within the next week. The NotificationBot is down at the moment, and many of the players rely on the 'bot to notify them. Though I'll do manual notifications if necessary, I frankly have better things to do than to copy and paste messages for 50+ users. :-) (Isn't that why we have bots?) Anyways, in case you haven't heard, I'm trying a new format for round four. Instead of the traditional 10+ questions, part one of round four will be more of a creative and academic project. Part two will be more like the traditional rounds but will also have some changes... all the rule changes will be detailed when the round opens. Thanks for your interest! Flcelloguy | A note? | Desk | WS 20:55, 2 November 2005 (UTC) Hey there!Hi Ilyanep! I haven't seen you in a while during my WikiAdventures, so I decided to drop by and say "hi"! Hello. Round four of Wikipedia Mind Benders will open on Thursday, December 1. This round will be drastically different from round three; part one will consist of a creative project, and part two will be developed from there. The full details will be released when the round opens. Time and speed should not be major factors in this round; thus, there is no exact opening time for the round as speed will not factor into the scoring. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 00:04, 22 November 2005 (UTC) P.S. Please add Wikipedia:Mind Benders/to do to your watchlist to receive further announcements; the NotificationBot is currently down and all notifications will be placed on that page. Sorry for any inconvenience. Note: This message has been sent by Flcelloguy. If you do not wish to receive further messages regarding WP:MIND, please contact Flcelloguy. Special thanks to Fetofs for helping distribute this message. Wikipedia's Status - Second CountsHmmm... I removed the seconds from the speeds because I thought no one actually tried loading Wikipedia and then started counting. Anyway, the old counts were really poorly metered (I mean, 5 seconds to me is slow, not borderline fast). (copied from [1]) Would you be interested in help determining good second counts for each of the speeds? — Ambush Commander(Talk) 00:20, 1 December 2005 (UTC)
Block of 66.30.185.105Ilyanep, I think the case of this anon, which you blocked recently for 24 hours, might not be as clear-cut as it seems. Please review my comments on its 66.30.185.105. Can you reconsider the block or its duration? Thanks! Demi T/C 00:39, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
Re: WP:MINDThanks for the heads-up! I'll be contacting each participant in the next few weeks to prepare for part two. Thanks again! Flcelloguy (A note?) 17:21, 19 December 2005 (UTC) MindbendersI read your fictitious article on Ooberlang. It seems as though you really took a long time to think up every part of the article and it looks like your article will be a major competitor. Greek characters in signatureCould you please drop the Greek characters in your signature? I realize that it's a personal style issue, but you insult the language by using it as you do. Just because a letter looks like a Latin one, doesn't mean they are equivalent. Ιλιανηπ would be a proper transliteration of your name, though as I'm guessing it is of Slavic/Russian origin, it would be easier to go from Cyrillic to Greek.—Kbolino 08:26, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
