I know, it is getting tiresome everytime something like this gets seen on registered user's watchlists or those who watch articles via means of related changes in categories (example [1] where he is included.
Have no idea if it's the same vandal or not, but if it's the latter case it would seem that now we have a battle of "height-vandals", one changing it to 1,83, the other to 1,85! What the hey?!
In case you haven't noticed this, I classed this as "tedious". Looks like from Geolocate the IP addresses point to Indonesia so probably no coincidence. I always inclined to go with what the Premier League website says. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 18:29, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
LOL, i stand corrected, height continues to be vandalised at will! Also, we seem to have another disruptive editor in the article (i saw him even revert user/admin Mattythewhite several times!); i improved the wording and the display of lastly-added refs, they reverted me today, reinstating nonsense like "his goal in the draw saved his team from losing" or something to that effect; i also feel that stuff in red in personal life does not belong in article (maybe in the Indonesian one, do not know for sure), but i still left it just adjusting the size of the dashes and was also reverted there. Source int'l goals (not the same as int'l caps), was also reverted by this chap!
Your version should be the better one, especially as trans-title is needed.
That user has disrupted Mattythewhite a while ago, and I also agree this article may be affected of occasional reverting as with height before. Who knows... Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 15:55, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I see, thanks for the tip! Indeed, this article about a relatively obscure (by all standards) player has proven to be a handful (the height issue, anyone?), i'll continue to keep a close eye there for my part, not to worry.
Maybe my eyes are deceiving me (50 years old, pushing 51), but i think i've seen, just THIS WEEK, more than 30 new IPs. All that just to add a dash in the full name in box and in external links? What a waste of time and resources!
Agree, waste of time @RevampedEditor. I already have enough problems on Wikipedia with other vandal editors (sometimes cross-wiki) in the past, names of those vandals I won't mention. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 15:05, 7 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
(By the way: it would appear this has been judged to be a sock account as well. Surely they have better things to do than disrupt other people's watchlists on Wikipedia.) Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 20:58, 7 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
LOL, this (height) is so out of hand now i got completely mixed and actually reverted the IP who reverted the nuisance! Luckily, a fellow user reverted me as well.
I just don't see that type of change stopping anytime soon. As soon as I saw the page history I realised that you made the error, which is usually accidental in established users. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 15:09, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's silly stuff; I have asked for increased protection. The account is editing against consensus and is combative at their talk page. Eagleash (talk) 19:05, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As well as some IP addresses which I think belongs to Lewis but for me that's gut instinct. I am aware of everything that's happened before this section started.
Everyone is welcome to contribute to edit Wikipedia but anyone who does edit warring will simply not getting away with it, they will be found out and admin action should be taken against it.
If we look at the pageviews analysis, for May 2023, the page has been edited 90+ times this month[2], a rare number of edits for an article not making headline news for typical reasons. I am also aware about the rangeblock after the second protection request as I was thinking there would be a duplicate entry for the article at WP:RFP (and that request you made has gone to Wikipedia:Requests_for_page_protection/Archive/2023/05#26_May_2023 which I am now aware also). I pray that editing will stop soon. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 21:22, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oh great... I knew the requested level was wrong but still didn't change it! I have tried again and if it fails again I give up; (I really am not able to do this any more!). Eagleash (talk) 22:25, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well it's something, but only 24 hours; it might be interesting to see how they react to the block; my guess would be negatively and then just carry on; no indication that they understand about EW or consensus at all. Eagleash (talk) 07:49, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think that will be used wisely but we'll see how Sunday turns out, both on Wikipedia and to see if Leeds go down as in the past some other people change the divisions too early after seasons finish. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 07:57, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Straight back after block expiry. RV'd and pinged the admin involved, and also left further message (as if that would help!). 13:14, 28 May 2023 (UTC)
Recent edits with IPs beginning with 154 on articles in the football scope, yes. However, not all IP addresses beginning with 154 comes from Egypt, but HazemGM appears to be from that place. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 15:51, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for fixing my error on my addition to the USS Mitscher page. I couldn’t work out where I was going wrong. I’m from the U.K. and in dates we use 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 21st 22nd 23rd 24th, you get the picture so I’d say “on the 9th August” not “9 August”
Sorry if I’ve done something wrong in trying to say thank you I don’t know if there is a message space or anything I’m not an avid wiki user so thank you :) Rob213A (talk) 20:28, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hold on for a minute, I can see an IP address who made the edit before I made some correction to the article. Anyway, everyone should follow MOS:DATES to write dates without st, nd, rd or th after every numbers. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 20:35, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah that was me I used the Google app instead of safari so I wasn’t logged in. Made some changes on a few other pages so I hope they are okay. And I’ll give it a read. Thanks once again. Rob213A (talk) 20:49, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Jordi Amat
@RevampedEditor: - you may or may not notice this, I have noted about the height of Amat on Talk:Jordi Amat (footballer)#Height... about the correct value but still people keep on changing that figure by one centimeter. I have put that note there so I can read which version of this height should be correct. Otherwise this results in a 4th protection. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 10:55, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Notes or no notes, do you think that will stop the height from being vandalised? We will be here to stop them in their tracks!

and many thanks for yours. After yesterday's performance, two focused defenders would be nice, four would just be greedy... Have fun over Christmas, and all the best for the new year. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 12:59, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
