User talk:Husond/Archive 3Thank youMy administratorship candidacy succeeded with a final tally of 81/0/1. I appreciate your support. Results are at Wikipedia:Recently_created_admins#Durova. Warmly, Durova 21:58, 17 October 2006 (UTC) ThanksThanks for reverting the vandalism to my page. --Nlu (talk) 06:46, 18 October 2006 (UTC) A review requestHello. I know you're probably quite busy, but I've seen your name pop up several times on both Editor reviews and on active RfAs. You seem to have a fairly stringent series of requirements for both, which is exactly what I'm looking for. If you could spare some time, I'd love for your feedback on my Editor review (especially since I'd eventually like to submit an RfA. Thanks! EVula 21:08, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
Re: Long overdue thanksI have a natural tendency to rebuke injustice whenever possible, so I was certianly not going to stand idly by while you were being wrongly accused of incivility! By the way, how did you manage to grasp 6 languages so well? That's very impressive. -- WGee 02:00, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
edits to ESPN College Football Broadcast TeamsI removed the link to Jimmy Dykes on all of them because the Jimmy Dykes article states that he was a baseball player who died in 1976; therefore he cannot possibly be an announcer! The Jimmy Dykes who does sideline reporting for ESPN does not currently have an article. (153.104.80.121) 1:02 October 20, 2006 UTC Sure, I'd be glad to help out with the portal. I already made one fix to the main portal page (just fixing around location). It is a good start so far, and I'll try to help out with the red links. Nishkid64 00:37, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Muchas graciasHey Húsönd, thanks a lot for supporting me in my recent RfA. It succeeded, and I am very grateful to all of you. If you ever need help with anything, please don't hesitate to ask. Also, feel free point out any mistakes I make! Thanks again, —Khoikhoi 04:07, 21 October 2006 (UTC) Coffee loungeI feel so terrible about what I wrote... Let me emphesize the fact that it was NOT meant to be a personal attack on anybody. I was complaining about smoking in general, not people who smoke. I've got nothing against you for smoking, believe me! The fact does nothing to lessen my admiration for you. Again, I am so sorry. Editor reviewThanks very much for your comments.
You're welcome. I've tried using popups, but I've actually found them to be annoying :-P. I have been using Godmode-light though, which emulates the "rollback" admin feature. Only trouble is that it doesn't provide an autmatic edit summary, which may come back to haunt me. I'm working on trying to fix that, however. Hope to see and RfA with your name on it soon. - Mike | Talk 01:27, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

CVUHey Husond, what's shakin'? (Please don't answer that.) Anyway, your words have instilled in me a want to protect Wikipedia; so I've joined RCP and CVU. I did a bit of anti-vandalisim and I got a few (Yee-haw!). Any tips or recomendations? I am currently using Lupins Tool, which do you use? Do you recommend VandalProof? Re: Editor reviewThanks for the pats in the back, and glad the review was useful for you. As you can imagine, a featured "something" is enough for those claiming 1FA, however making a featured portal sounds hard. Good luck with that! As for the parts where you lack experience, if you decide to post your nomination, explain your lack of experience in those matters and that you will try to stay away from them, at least until you have obtained enough experience, and that you will be focusing on what you do best, dealing with vandals and closing article deletion discussions. Again, good luck with your future nomination, and remember, failing once does not mean you won't have another opportunity. -- ReyBrujo 18:10, 23 October 2006 (UTC) ThanksThanks for the welcome! Editor reviewHi how are you? Oh btw, is today your birthday?? Happy birthday! Wish you all the best and have a great day! I just want to beg you if you want to drop some lines on my editor review. Wikipedia:Editor review/Imoeng. Actually I was thinking to apply for adminship in the future, but I think my 3 months contribution is not enough for now. I like the way you review some other users on that page, so here I am, begging you to review me too :P. Cheers -- Imoeng 12:28, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
Thank youThank you for that really cool Barnstar, did you create it? I was really being honest in the review you should run for administratorship in the next couple of weeks or even days! TangoTango has kindly written up a script that once a week lists all of the new members to Esperanza. The list can be found at User:Tangotango/New members of Esperanza; it is updated once a week, and will show all of the new members since the last update. If you're not sure if everyone who joined the past week has been welcomed, that is a great place to check! I hope that helps you in your welcome, and thank you for making a point to greet new Esperanzians! -- Natalya 18:42, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
Edit summariesI noticed your link to the edit summary tool. Ran it on me and got a bit of a surprise. I have been using edit summaries for quite sometime now. Reviewing my last 500 edits shows that all of them have edit summaries. Any idea why this tool only shows me at 85%? Thank you in advance, and happy birthday! --Pascal666 18:55, 26 October 2006 (UTC) IP removal from AIVI'm not aware of a policy against this but apparently you told an IP not to remove already blocked user from WP:AIV and that this was an admin only thing. Is there a policy that says that? When I was not yet an admin I removed dealt with cases all the time and no on objected. JoshuaZ 01:52, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

EsperanzaThanks for the welcome message. I won't be spending the majority of my time on Wikipedia doing Esperanzan activities, but I'll get involved in programs such as admin coaching and Barnstar Brigade (not to mention feeling more welcome when I use my sock in the Coffee Lounge)! --Gray PorpoisePhocoenidae, not Delphinidae 03:17, 28 October 2006 (UTC) ReversionI'd suggest that you review the revert you made of my edit here, as it was incorrect. Be careful not to bite potential newcomers who may be behind anon IPs — I'm an admin (just didn't bother to log in), so it's no skin off my back, but in my time here I've found that a welcome message should always precede any warning. It's far more inviting, and in some cases, the newbie isn't the one who's mistaken. Cheers. 66.139.12.121 05:50, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Esperanza User Page AwardHi Husond! You've signed up to be a judge for the Esperanza User Page Award! You'll have three user pages to examine. The user pages you get coincide with your signup number. So if you signed up to be a judge in spot 1 than you will get nominations 1-3. Pick your favorite one, and list it in the finalist section. After all 5 judges have chosen a finalist it's time to award them 1-10 points in the four categories:
Please remember to include Subpages in your judging criteria. See the Scores section on this page for additional information on your job as a judge. Keep in mind that your scores are confidential! Email Celestianpower with your scores and final picks. As soon as all the scores have been tallied, a winner will be announced! Thanks. Just to start the ball rolling and institute a culture change, I'm trying to get all admins closing things at AfD to remember to check the page history of an article before deleting, so that drastic changes in the nature of a page are spotted, and also urging those voting at AfD to do the same. See the following for details: Copied to closing admin, restoring admin, deletion nominator, all who voted in the AfD discussion, and the AfD talk page.
