2009, JulyWiki-meetup Nashville on Labor Day weekend!
Stubborn editor tampering with the Lisa Kelly articleHey Huntster, We got a stubborn editor, 75.23.77.202 (talk), who is keen on keeping Lisa Kelly’s actual birth name out and just have it read “Lisa Kelly”. I was hoping I may get your help on this one...cuz at this point, it doesn’t seem like this editor isn’t going to back down on this. Thanks. KeltieMartinFan (talk) 20:14, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
Hey youHey Huntster. I noticed that you updated your page recently. I wanted to mention that there was another "vandal" thingie a couple weeks ago, if you check your page history. I reverted and blocked the "editor" - and due to his reply, another admin made it an "indef". So, just saying - I guess you can up that "vandalized" thingie by one. Anyway, it seems like ages since we talked. I miss that. I know you have a busy life and all, but please don't ever forget how much I look to you for what is right. I hope you're still keeping an eye on me my friend, I've gotten a bit "bold" at times lately. Yank me back in when I get stupid please. If you're thinking about going to that Nashville "meet-up" ... PLEASE .. let me know. I'll find a way to get there. I so owe you a few drinks! Hope all is well, and all my best buddy - Ched. — Ched : ? 06:36, 11 July 2009 (UTC) Re: W for We'reHey Huntster, I'll double check around about the W (We're) thing.. I don't think it's a hard and fast rule, but I used to work at WKPT-TV, and the W was used in promotions when the station first signed on the air, as We're Kingsport (in fact, it was actually "We're the ones in KingsPorT," to distinguish Channel 19 from the other stations in nearby Johnson City and Bristol. I also know specifically, that WLAC in Nashville was promoted as "We're Life And Casualty," meaning the insurance company that put the station on the air, WTVC in Chattanooga was We're TeleVision Chattanooga, and WHBQ in Memphis (We Have Better Quartets--alluding to the old radio promotions). Some stations used variants of the W, as World's Best Textiles (WBT, Charlotte), and Welcome South Brother (WSB, Atlanta), but the stations that I have a list of, definitely used the W to mean "We" or "We're." I've got the list somewhere, and will forward it to you ( or the appropriate website) Csneed (talk) 02:55, 16 July 2009 (UTC) Mini Schnauzer picture warsThere is no point in a war over these pictures. I've included them both. The classic head shot is a fantastic picture, I agree. But the other user will keep adding the picture (it is back again). I moved some pictures to the gallery, and expanded the captions. I also took some out. How many salt and peppers do we need. We could use some of the other colors, even if they aren't accepted as "show" in AKC. I saw my first white mini the other day. There is a small, stubborn little group that is putting up the next season of all the CSI and Law and Order shows, with absolutely no citations whatsoever. I am afraid to blank them, as then I will get flagged. Any advice to me? They are not all the same people, but there is one person who is responsible for much of the page creating. Thank you. Trista (user Triste Tierra - cannot log in at work) 24.176.191.234 (talk) 17:59, 18 July 2009 (UTC) questionIf moving to Pennsylvania would be an option - perhaps I could help. You have my phone number from my confidential info that I sent in the event that my WP:RIP would need to be addressed. I don't want to pry, but you have been a good friend that I would be willing to help in any way, shape or form that I could Huntster. My thoughts and prayers my friend. — Ched : ? 23:22, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
Yep...I'm pretty dumbfounded at the moment. ;) I'm wondering if I'm working with a prodigy that I soon won't even be worthy of. I've seen some absolute brilliance come his keyboard - and at times I'm downright intimidated. I guess I'll hang on as long as I can, and try to learn as much as I can. ;) — Ched : ? 03:58, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
2009, AugustAww Crap ...Now I've gone and done it. Can I come and hide here for a while? ;) — Ched : ? 10:45, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Convert bugThanks for fixing the bug in {{convert}}. We didn't, however, kill the bug, only side stepped it. I tracked that bug down to {{precision}}. It's alive and well. I've got a new version on the talk page which kills the bug. JIMp talk·cont 00:39, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Nosebutton : ? Barrett FoaNCIS: Los Angeles Episode 1.01 Press Release Link is a press release from CBS, regarding NCIS: Los Angeles. It lists Barrett Foa as a recurring cast member. 2009, SeptemberGA reassessment of Hayley WestenraI have conducted a reassessment of the above article as part of the GA Sweeps process. I have found some concerns with the referencing which you can see at Talk:Hayley Westenra/GA1. I have placed the article on hold whilst these are fixed. Thanks. Belated thank youIt was a pleasure meeting, eating and conversing with you at the Nashville meetup. Sorry that the show got rained out, we could have talked more there. We had all kinds of good conversation on our side of the table there at brunch. Incredibly, I had to explain the joke behind your t-shirt to our tablemates; what the hell do they teach kids these days? Mentos + Coke = high-powered good times. I hope I run into you again sometime. :-) If you'd ever like to collaborate on anything on enWiki or just need a hand, please don't hesitate to drop me a line. Until then I remain yours truly, User:Bullzeye contribs 00:01, 14 September 2009 (UTC) Sun Dancer editHi there, I thought something was wrong! When I saw the figure I instantly new it was too small so I calculated it for the correct one. But, to lose roughly half the internal volume to storage et al is somewhat large, especially considering its application. I hope the source is correct, or that no misunderstanding has occurred. Thanks for your attention. It was removed by Snigbrook with the following edit summary '(add chart position, remove prod)'. Please consider discussing your concerns with Snigbrook before pursuing deletion further yourself. If you still think the article should be deleted after communicating with the 'dePRODer,' you may want to send the article to AfD for community discussion. Thank you, SDPatrolBot (talk) 20:47, 25 September 2009 (UTC) (Learn how to opt out of these messages) Hey ...... Haven't heard from you in a while ... hope all is well on your end. — Ched : ? 03:10, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
