Hi! I just noticed your recent edits at this article. I thought it better to revert these edits for several reasons. Ernest Hemingway is a featured article and great effort should be exerted to maintain the necessary characteristics. If you look at the format of the citations you will find that they are consistent, and the same format should be preserved for all edits. In addition, the references used here are from the major modern biographies of Hemingway. In particular the AP study guide source provides no path of verification. References #2, #5 and #6. "Primary sources" does not only mean his own website, but also covers off any organization or company with which he has a direct business or professional relationship. A writer's notability depends on the work being sourced properly — so books can't be sourced to the webpage of their own publisher, and plays can't be sourced to the webpage of their own producing theatre company. They need to be sourced to media coverage about the books and plays, if you want to ensure that he's safely out of reach of having his notability questioned. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. Hello, Howkafkaesque. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
