Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Hoary was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
The lead tells us "Her work is in public and private collections all around the world". If this can be demonstrated (for art museums) via reliable sources, then she'd meet WP:ARTIST; but as it is, she doesn't seem to meet either WP:ARTIST or, more generally, WP:PERSON.

I don't believe that she is not notable enough. She has worked with famous printmakers, has had her work juried in Grand Palais in France, and has been shown in plenty of Midwest colleges and public libraries. Given the lack of representation of female biographies and artists, I believe that she is definitely notable enough for a Wikipedia article.

Fails WP:NARTIST you say "Her work is in public and private collections around the world" in the lede but this isn't sourced or mentioned in the article?

They need to pass WP:NARTIST and you haven't shown that they do yet?

You need to state which of the criteria she passes at WP:ARTIST, unless she passes one of them the article would be sent to WP:AFD and deleted, so it would be pointless for me to accept it, I will not review again. Theroadislong (talk) 16:22, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not clear how the subject meets the notability criteria for an artist on Wikipedia. Is her work in the permanent collection of a major art gallery, for example?

She helped develop a printmaking technique. I added that into the article. If you think that's significant enough then I think the article should be approved.
