Kızılırmak DeltaYes if you can write on its talk page some more suggestions that would be great. I don’t mean about grammar or tiny details but more big picture suggestions - such as what aspects are missing or whether to include long lists of species or not. Also if you know of an example from another country that would be useful as a model. Particularly if there is a good map example. I know we can go to Openstreetmap from the coords but that may not be obvious to the reader. Speedy deletion declined: Alpena Power CompanyHello Grungaloo. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Alpena Power Company, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: In my opinion, this article *as it is on 3 Feb 2024*, would not pass any or all of WP:GNG, WP:NCORP. Looking futher into to the context, a WP:BEFORE might indicate this corporate entity may have been of some historical significance. Please see the UMich mention I will add to Talk:Alpena Power Company next edit I do. As always, more that happy to be proven wrong. . Thank you. I had to be careful with this article, since the house is currently privately owned. The current owners are not mentioned because I had privacy concerns. They have signs that say their driveway is a privately-owned road, and would probably not be happy if they caught me in front of their house taking pictures. I talked to someone from a family that owned the house for many years, although that is not something that could be put in the article. As info, I often have two days each week where I do not have access to my office computer. For this week, I will be unavailable on Monday and Tuesday. P.S. The pond next to my house is visited by a Great blue heron, Green heron, ducks, and occasionally geese. I saw a bald eagle there once—it seemed huge. TwoScars (talk) 16:25, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
GANI believe the nomination was closed too soon. In my opinion, it was not worthy of a quick-fail. You didn't give me any time to respond, which I find unfair. In any case, I completed implementing your suggestions in slightly over two hours. I ask you to either re-open the GAN or start the second review. Best regards, Wolverine XI (talk to me) 09:56, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
After a six-day hiatus from the article, I examined 71 sources and discovered that majority of them repeated the same information. Based on my thorough research, most of the sources addressed a particular aspect of the species' distribution or the interaction between humans and fishing cats. There is also a dearth of information regarding behavior and reproduction. To avoid another botched attempt, I am reaching out to inquire about your thoughts before I re-nominate it for GA.
