Hey, before i put him up at RFA, do you mind if I remove the comments about him not accepting yet, that was my mistake and i don't want it to affect his candidacy. -- SmthManly / ManlyTalk / ManlyContribs14:01, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
Actually, i'm off to work now until this evening, if you agree then could you please do it on my behalf, if not, then please add his candidacy up because I won't have internet access for 9 hours. Thanks. -- SmthManly / ManlyTalk / ManlyContribs14:08, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Sign up if you would like to be interviewed for the newsletter. Sign ups and details are here.
Assessment Scale
You will see Assessment scale information on each of the SpongeBob SquarePants article talk pages. The article will be rated according to the Assessment scale. Please consider looking at the status of the article to improve it. If the article has changed and the rating is outdated, you can change it or bring it up on the WikiProject talkpage.
We are trying to improve these articles, hopefully bring some to good or featured status. We would like your help reaching this goal. We are currently working on SpongeBob SquarePants, Krusty Krab, and Bikini Bottom. Please help us improve these articles, based on the peer reviews and your knowledge of Wikipedia featured articles.
Project objectives
Episode Pages:
Infoboxes need to be completed on each episode article. All infoboxes have been completed on the season one and two articles. See here.
A screenshot of each title card for each episode needs to be complete on each episode article to improve it. Only the season 5 episodes (except for Rise and Shine and Fungus Among Us) are missing title cards.
Please try to help incorporate all trivia into the rest of the articles.
Please incorperate all SpongeBob SquarePants episode and character quotes to Wikiquote.
Expansion - Many articles need expanding, please try to help us with these. These include game articles (See games section on template and book information here.
Portal
There is a portal for SpongeBob SquarePants here. If you can, please help keep it updated and contribute to the discussion.
Concerns and questions
Please leave a message with AMK152 if you have questions concerning the project. You may also post at the WikiProject's talkpage and someone will answer.
Although having the newsletter appear on everyone's userpage is desired, this may not be ideal for everyone. If, in the future, you wish to receive a link to the newsletter, rather than the newsletter itself, you may add yourself to the Opt Out List.

Hi, thanks for joining the Cartoon Network WikiProject! I'm Treelo, the co-ordinator for the project and I want to know some things. Firstly, what will you be helping with? Any area or specific articles? I'd like to know this so we can use the best people for the right jobs. Thanks again for joining. --treelotalk18:13, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
Hey Suit I just wanted to notify you about a disscussion going on on the Wikiproject Dragon Ball page about the ki article. We just wanted to know everyones thoughts so let your voice be heard! DBZROCKS01:58, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
On Friday 30th March, a deranged fan was held after attempting to force his way into Paul McCartney's mansion. See here for more details.
Apple Corps continues to make news, after the recent settlement with Apple Computer over the use of the Apple trademark. On April 10th, the company announced that long-time chief executive Neil Aspinall had stepped down and had been replaced by American Jeff Jones. It was also announced that another long term dispute, this time with EMI over royalties, had been amicably settled prior to Aspinall's departure.[1][2]
Project News
The article "Jeff Jones (music industry executive)" suddenly becomes of top importance in the Apple sphere of Beatledom. User:Kingboyk has created a stub on the man, but the article needs urgent beefing up (including basic biographical data such as date and place of birth) and, if possible, a photograph of the new Apple chief executive.
With the debate over "the Beatles" vs "The Beatles" continuing to cause ill feeling and a number of resignations from the project from advocates on both sides, Kingboyk attempted to diffuse the situation by blanking the Project Policy page and tagging it as {{historical}}. Although this unilateral action hasn't been reverted as of the time of writing, the reaction was mixed, with two members rejoining the project and others stating their disagreement. With the issue still not resolved, the page was sent to Miscellany for Deletion, for the wider community (and WikiProject The Beatles members) to consider the issue.
Member News
The membership list has been trimmed, with inactive members listed seperately to help gauge the status of the project. If you've been incorrectly listed as inactive, please don't be offended - just move yourself back to the main list.
From the Editors
This has been a tumultuous month for the project yet again.
We need your input on how the project should work and what it's role should be. And we need to start getting Featured Articles, folks! :)
Next issue
This is your newsletter and you can be involved in the creation of the next issue (Issue 013 – May 2007). Any and all contributions are welcome. Simply let yourself be known to any of the undersigned, or just start editing!
As the project is currently just starting, our more experienced editors are working on the project infrastructure, classifying articles, and listing/assessing red links. Your assistance is welcome. If you would prefer to just edit - and why wouldn't you? - we have a choice selection of red links to turn blue and articles to clean! Now let's get busy.
Project: Add {{WPBeatles}} to the talk pages of all Beatles-related articles. Send a newsletter to members, canvas for new members, and coordinate tasks. Enter articles classed as stubs into this list (under To Expand) and also list articles needing cleaning and other work here.
If you complete one of these tasks, please remove it from the list and add your achievement to the project log.
Want to help on next month's newsletter? Don't want to receive these in future? Don't want it subst'd next time? – It's all here.
i only care about it because i spent a long time integrating every bit of it that could be integrated, it used to at least twice as big, and sourcing it
i'd just prefer it if after all that work it wasn't just deleted —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jac16888 (talk • contribs) 20:32, 28 April 2007 (UTC).
The April 2007 issue of the Films WikiProject newsletter has been published. A taskforce dealing with LGBT publications has been proposed. If you are interested in getting involved, consider signing up at the projects' page.
Our core topics list is looking good. It's still a bit slim on LGBT history articles, non-American LGBT media, and important LGBT biographies. Do you have suggestions?
David Shankbone has done an amazing job taking photographs of LGBT celebrities. Thanks David! People interested in collaborating with him and setting up a photography taskforce should contact him or drop a note at the project's talkpage.
The LGBT Portal still needs a bit of love and attention :-). Again, any good quality (free) photos you come across on LGBT articles can be added to the gallery here. Volunteers to help out with the Portal are extremely welcome- make yourselves known on the Portal's talkpage. Updates to the current news items are helpful.
Deputy coordinator elections
WikiProject LGBT studies is looking for new Deputy Coordinators to help out with various essential tasks in organising the project. To nominate yourself or contribute to the discussion, please go to: Wikipedia:WikiProject LGBT studies/Coordinator/May 2007. The deadline for nominations is May 5 and the elections will last a week after that.
The elections will be pretty simple- everyone just endorses their favourite candidate(s). The three with the most votes at the end of the week are the new deputy coordinators, who will assist Dev920 in keeping the project running.
To stop receiving this newsletter, or to receive it in a different format, just ask Dev920. If you have any news or any announcements to be broadcast, do let her know.
Vegeta.

Hi $UIT. I know that you are a member of WP:POKE and I was wondering if you had Pokemon Diamond (or Pearl). I was thinking that a member of WP:POKE would know where to get the HM Strength. I can't find it, and I need it to get to Snowpoint City, through Mount Coronet. RyanGot something to say?11:53, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
I knew I've seen your name before! Yep, you helped vote for the sysops/admin. to be elected, right? I've been neglecting that DB site for a while though. It is an embarrassment. It deserves better than it currently is: waddya say we upgrade the majority of those articles with references from the manga? You, me and Kayla could be a good team, since it appears the users' Recoome and Master gogeta are inactive there (not sure about Tipo de carne, or whatever the person's name is). Oh, we don't have to team if you don't wanna. I'll understand.
Signed, ~I'm anonymous
That's good. Oh, thanks for cleaning up Belzi's article. For Paifu, what do you suppose should be trimmed there? Looks coherent with what WP:FICTION is about. Also, I don't see anything wrong with citing an abundance of references. ~I'm anonymous
Just shorten it to the main points of the story rather than the entire plot of the manga. References are fine but it was citing every minor event: you don't have to cite that they fight a dragon, etc.. --$UIT05:23, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
I'll see what I can do. Hopefully, you'll give me a hand if needed, correct? ~I'm anonymous
Orphaned fair use image (Image:P.Eric.JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:P.Eric.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. User:Gay Cdn(talk)(Contr)23:47, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Happy Birthday
Just a happy Birthday message to you, GroovySandwich/Archive 7, from the Wikipedia Birthday Committee! Have a great day!
I actually thought about doing that. Problem is, well, the long name? And that slash mark looks a little strange, especially for a category title. That's not a problem, is it? ~I'm anonymous
Truth be told, I've got no idea. But the people at CfD will know, which is why it's probably a good idea to suggest it there. --Deskana(talk)04:08, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Ah, I'll leave it to whoever wants to do it, do it. Thanks anyways team. Sorry about that discussion before Deskana, if you're still upset. ~I'm anonymous

deletion of 'what looked like spam'
HI,
I noticed you deleted my contribution because it looked like spam.
Let me see...
I'm registered with Wikipidia so you know who I am; spammers usually try to stay anonymous.
You could have contacted me about my post or even better, visited the link I added.
It's about a fishing trawler being converted into a cruising trawler. It has no ads, I has a ton of information on systems that you find on trawlers. It's very educational.
So why delete it without even having a look at it? What exactly 'looked' like spam in my edit?
