Aha, what that means is that User:Jacksonmaltmakre is a sock of User:Jaredgk2008, who has been doing Lee Corso vandalism for a long time, and I'd say needs to be blocked. See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jaredgk2008/Archive. Mr Potto (talk) 17:54, 4 July 2015 (UTC)

Vandal

The user that vandalized the Ulisses_FC page has been vandalizing numerous Armenian soccer pages as well. They have created well over 80 accounts just to vandalize these pages. What is there reason? No clue, they have been doing it since 2012. One account gets blocked, they create a new one. That gets blocked, they create a new one, etc. Is there anyway to do a permanent IP block or something? That user has not contributed at all to any article, there sole purpose is to vandalize the pages. Hi I'm 5 days old of using wikipedia and I edited Silverwood Theme Park on the Tremors Rollercoaster section adding how when you go under the gift shop it takes souvenir pictures of every seat and when you get off the coaster you can buy them in the gift shop. I also added that there is a veiwing window in the gift shop to watch people on the coaster go down under the gift shop. And here's why I know its true: my family buys golden season passes every year and a gold season pass pays for one person and lets 2 addional people or friends in for free for the whole season. If I didn't go to silverwood every year I wouldn't know how many people can get in with a gold season pas ( or welll I guess you could be on their website. Well I promise I didn't get this from the website but for more proof maybe if it is on their, see if what I'm proving in said on their website). And since I go there every year I am pretty familiar with the park. And if my family didn't go there every year I wouldn't have gone on tremors for the first time and pass out for what seemed to my dad 30 seconds including when it went down and under the gift shop to take a picture of every seat and when we were done we went to go look at the pictures of us kids that went on ( 5 to be exact) and she saw the picture of me and I was passed out she wasn't going to the pictures before and was just going to see them but she thought mine was just funny or PRICELESS is what she said exactly she bought mine only. So now every time we go to silverwood I get reminded on how I passed out on tremors just beacause of one stinking souvenir picture. I don't care I am still blocked from editing because it was stupid. and imature of me to goof around and vandalize other pages like change the Taliban flag to the cover of escorted (magazine) on their page and also to delete every word on the page deletion I did do wrong so wrong comes with a consequense or as my dad describes it BUY ONE AND GET THIS FREE. But do please add my editing to silverwood back on it was true. and if for some reason you cant add it please tell me why and if i need to do something first. thx colliand000

I read the "common reasons" you would delete a page but ours i dont think falls into any of those categories!

Nightcore

Hi, I noticed that you are the most recent admin to delete the "Nightcore" page (on July 14, 2013). It was my intention to create a redirect page to Trance music, since it is generally considered to be a sub-genre of Trance, also often referred to as "happy hardcore," which is referenced once in the Trance music article. I figure a redirect page is a decent way to get people looking in the right general place without necessarily facing the usual rigor of relevance applied to Wikipedia articles. I have been trying to create a page for a medical ethicist named "Charles Culver" since yesterday. I did not seem to have any problems yesterday but earlier this morning the page was deleted due to a copyright infringement (because I copied things directly from one of his obituaries on the University of Miami website), and it was deleted about 10 minutes ago for the same reason but this time I did not copy anything from anywhere. Can you please help me out?

Deletion of K-TEC Earthmovers

Hello!

I just had a chat with GEOFBOT regarding the deletion of our company page (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=K-Tec_Earthmovers). He told me that it was deleted due to being "too advertise-y" so I am here to request an emailed copy of the page so that we can rebuild it and resubmit.

Also, I am hoping to get a few tips/recommendations to prevent this from happening again, unfortunately I am new here and trying to figure this all out. Our marketing department was in charge of this and I am the new sysadmin now in charge of this unfortunately. I see that the page has been deleted twice before as well for the same reason, so anything we can do to make it stick this time would be welcome.

That is particularly concerning but not the first time it's happened and I'm not sure if this is at all related to this SPI as noted at ANI. It's worth noting I recently encountered this editor that was starting separate but identical articles for Asia's Next Top Model and was subsequently blocked for 1 week for persistent editing. There's such a thing as good intentioned edits for starting the crystalball articles and then competence (such as the Asia's Next Top Model editor). There's simply no evidence supporting what Adrian2526 was putting and starting articles with little content with no signs of improvement (example this as far as December 2017 with nothing but TBA is unnecessary). @SwisterTwister: Might be related or maybe not. There is a lot of people who like to create year/season articles for reality TV competitions, pageants, and sporting events way early. Most of the sports ones seem like good faith, but once you get into reality TV competitions, it starts to get ridiculous or plain made up. There is also this online gaming site that seems to drive a lot of people here that use their user pages as a web host to keep track of their made up games. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 03:13, 30 July 2015 (UTC)

I was going through various Wikipedia pages and then I came across a page of Raheja Developers. I noticed that there are some unusual activities going on this page that are going beyond Wikipedia Policy. After I reviewed that page there are some unusual references that are not related to the content. Also when I went through the history I found that there are some users who are aggressively and intentionally making changes that are of no use. There is a column in which aggressive changes are being done. The page is not giving any information regarding the company of which page is created. Wow, that is such a mess, I don't even know what to make of it. One of the biggest issues is that their editing is not consistent but still extends to longer periods of time (i.e. protected for a few days and it started again). Hello

I am a new user of Wikipedia and while editing some pages I went through the Raheja Developers page. I wanted to make certain edits then went through the page in detail again and again and then noted some activity in one part of Raheja Developers especially the section Investigations and Legal Challenges. I found some points and references which are not related to the article or intentionally given so as to extend the section.

1. Like reference number 22 and 23 are not related to the company but these are inserted. I am not able to understand why are these links mentioned and seems as if to just extend this section. Also in these links no information is there from which readers can get that the company is under Investigation.
2. The reference number 26 is also not stating anything about the company.
3. The links 19 and 32 are like a blogging sites which are not credible for Wikipedia reference.

When I reviewed the History section of the mentioned page I found users namely Leoagust and Sitush who are deliberately editing the content into negative. According to Wikipedia policies the page should be Neutral instead of only promotional or harsh Negative content and should provide true information to the readers in neutral way. The only thing I can imagine they're talking about (blue links and characters) as in Wikipedia links (i.e. WP:TNT, WP:AFD, etc.) and by list, they probably meant the entire list of Wikipedia links (markup and such [[ ]]). I don't think salting it is necessary at this time. It was the same blocked editor that spammed the link in the article in July. I don't see any history of the blog being spammed by multiple accounts, so hopefully the block of the editor will put an end to it. All of the blocks that I have done were set with talk page access revoked, but if I different admin runs into him and has yet to become familiar with them, talk page access is not immediately revoked. Mammatus Cloud (butt?)

So I went to look at the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mammatus_butt article and there has been some form of modification that I am not sure how to rectify. It seems that when I first load the page it shows the words "butt" normally. LGBT RIGHTS

Hello! I'm disappointed while you redited my views on LGBT RIGHTS. I don't think people should feel shy to express their love towards same sex because India does not foster it. Government should foster LGBT, bring enlightenment to this issue. Liking and Loving someone of same crime isn't a crime. It's nor a law. Higher Authorities have no rights to declare it as illegal. Change mind set. If someone's feelings are blocked since childhood because of being a part of LGBT and couldn't confide his her feelings towards his her sex then there's no use of constitution to be formulated. It's a right a preference whom we want to marry. I hope you're getting me. My age is 17 and my thoughts are much beyond of people from my age. If people couldn't do something and shy because of Indian's culture they are bounded within then no one can ever bring a hope. I think what I'm doing is right because I've seen people following LGBT, they themselves are on twitter but they never upload their own pictures just because they shy to do so. People of India upload are videos and pics of lesbians and gays. There are Lesbians and gays in India but they never confront it. Please Take it Serious. That "Hit the Quan" song and G3

Hey, I was trying to look up this song after seeing it on the Hot 100 and I noticed that you deleted it for being a "blatant hoax." Can you please explain how this is the case? Google reveals an article with poor citation and formatting, but the song is undoubtedly real (at #24 on the US Hot 100 this week). I think the person making those edits was relying upon Billboard's chart dates for their dating, which ends up sounding like WP:CRYSTAL when discussed poorly (i.e. "debut on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 41 on September 5, 2015" instead of "peaked at number 23 on the September 12 Billboard Hot 100" or something along those lines). If you look at Billboard's website, you can see that the latest chart (released September 8) is dated September 19, the Saturday after next. Judging by the Wayback machine and a video of that week's Hot 100, the song did debut at #41 on the September 5 chart (issued August 25). From the mouse-over information for the song on Billboard itself, it can be easily discerned that it rose to #23 on the September 12 chart (issued September 1) before falling to #24 on this week's chart. A bit confusing, but probably not an attempt to predict the future or trick people into thinking it will reach those positions in the future. Best, RocioNadat 00:40, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

Quick block request

Would you mind blocking User:Pluto2012? I blocked him five days ago for stalking another user (Settleman), and as noted at my talk page, he's already resumed stalking the same guy: Pluto shows up at Talk:Bezalel Smotrich for the first time just after Settleman edits the page, and his first edit there is partly to confront Settleman. Basically the same with Murabitat: Settleman creates it, and Pluto quickly shows up at the talk page. I don't see the significant difference between this behavior and the behavior that led me to block him, so I'd like to restore the block, this time for a longer duration. However, I fear accusations of WP:INVOLVED: Pluto objected to my original block because you are a contributor of Jewish ancestry (the information is important enough at your eyes so that you mention this on you user page), so I suppose that it would be better if he were blocked by someone who doesn't self-identify this way. Sorry to bother you; I already asked someone else, but he thought it required an understanding of ARBPIA — that's not a factor, because this is strictly a matter of one person stalking another. 10:24, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

@Nyttend: I'm going to decline to issue another block because I don't feel that I'm in a position to thoroughly understand the issue. I am aware of the general issues related to the topic at hand, the details and nuances are something that I am not well informed about. I am also a bit leery about involving myself in a current ARBCOM case. (talk page stalker) @Nyttend: I'd be unsure about making this block myself, because "stalking" is really slippery. I "stalk" (in the sense of follow) people all the time, where I think they're poor editors, and sometimes I revert them, even if I've never been at that page before. In order to tell if this was actual stalking, in the sense of harassment, I would first have to figure out whether the claim that Settlemean is editing disruptively is true or not. On a quick look that's a pretty subtle question, involving evaluating sources in an area I'm unfamiliar with. (I'm not talking about ARBIPA, that may well be quite disconnected.) Not a matter of two minutes at all, as you've told both Gogo Dodo and SpacemanSpiff.[2] I'm not saying this to impugn your original block, because if you do know the background and use your judgment to determine that one editor following another is harassment, that's within your admin remit; but I wouldn't have had the background to make it. Apparently Gogo Dodo and SpacemanSpiff feel the same way.

Admins are totally responsible for the blocks they make, and I think you're quite wrong to demand of two other admins that they block without making themselves masters of the stalking issue, and attacking them when they won't. Your sour comment to Gogo Dodo is out of line. If a second block is warranted in your opinion, I recommend you to place it yourself; the delinquent made a fairly scandalous attack IMO, in accusing you (implicitly) of being biased because of your ethnicity. I don't think the material I added violates policy

Barranquilla Life is a registered media corporation in the city of Barranquilla. BL offers daily news plus information on events and services. In retrospect, after having read the policies, I can see why you removed the content. However, I believe it should reinstated; as an active news organization, it has just as much value to a reader as the other news organizations already mentioned.

The existing information regarding Print Media for the City of Barranquilla is based on a book which was published in 1977. I would like to update that with current info. There are two additional print media companies on the scene. They are; ADN and Barranquilla Life. I don't want to create a new article. I want to update the existing page on Barranquilla.

What is necessary for me to update content on my city with factual information? What do I need to do? Do I need to find a more current reference? How about the Chamber of Commerce list of registered media companies - would that be sufficient? Please help. I've read through the help pages and I cant find anything which would explain this specific situation.

Johnny Madison/Shilo Sixx blocks

Greetings. I noticed that you'd blocked User:Johnny Madison (I was actually writing a nice, reasoned AGF reply regarding his article creation, blissfully unaware of the past history when the block went down) and several other socks, but while they're rightly blocked as a sock of User:Shilo121, this master account was never actually blocked.
