Help! - Havent used this for ages{{helpme}} Um, I kind of need someone to help me design one of those assessment tags for a new wikiproject. Im a bit confused using the Class parameter thing and I need a bit of help. The wiki-project that I'm doing it for is Raymond E. Feist series (WP:RAY). Im not too sure about images but maybe the Image:Rapiere-Morges-2.jpg would be good. Thanks! Fattyjwoods (Push my button) 00:00, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

New! BCAD drive from MilhistCan I invite you to particpate in our new assessment drive? It's strictly for experienced editors and has a degree of friendly competition built-in. It involves re-evaluating around 3500 Milhist B-Class articles to ensure they match our new criteria. As ever, we're offering a range of awards as our way of expressing our thanks. The drive doesn't start until 18:00 (UTC) on March 10 but you can sign up in advance here. It would be great if you can spare the time, --ROGER DAVIES talk 05:33, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
My RfAHello again! The other day, you offered to nominate me for adminship on my talk page, and I'd like to give you the chance to do so. I've been nominated by another user, Neil, and would be honored to have you as a co-nominator. Thanks for your offer, and I hope to hear from you soon. Hersfold (t/a/c) 15:59, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

re; RFA - Removal of "Spurious" questionsHi, and thanks for the comment on my talkpage. If you review the history of that RfA, difficult enough considering the number of !votes - almost all support, you will see that a number of questions were previously included that were later removed as not being appropriate. The remover gave his reasons at WP:RfA/VanTucky 2#Discussion, point 2. Under the circumstances, there being plenty of questions upon which to judge the candidate and the number of responses made on the application, I considered there was no merit in the questions that had not already been made in earlier questions - and responded to. Please note I am not saying that there was no merit at all, only there was nothing apparently original. I understand that it may not be gratifying to have your considerations "dismissed", but I assure you that it was not vindictive. I hope that my response, while likely not satisfying you, provides the reasoning why the questions were removed. Cheers. I am unclear why you reverted an editFattyjwoods, you reverted my removal of a completely unsupported and purely speculative section of the Piracy article. The "Brain Damage" section is someone's theory pulled out of thin air. There is not a shred of evidence to support it. Such fanciful speculation completely ungrounded in evidence does not belong in Wikipedia. And yet you restored it. If you have an advanced degree in History (as I do), you will know well that historians who attempt medical diagnoses on long-dead persons almost always find themselves humiliated when subjected to peer review. The section is completely without evidence or support of any kind. It is nothing more than someone's fancy, and does not belong in Wikipedia. I have no idea why you defended such an inappropriate and absurb section. Please be so kind as to undo your reversion.

ConfusedI am curious as to why you reverted my last edit. I used a legitimate source, and cited it. Although I do admit that the absence of an edit summary was my fault. 129.74.229.16 (talk) 23:26, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
That is the name of the speech. Snowball is a real person, using an alias. When the discussion of gun control came up at a recent dinner, he had strong opinions. If I cited it incorrectly, by all means help me. But, I think I am starting to realize your point. Not everyone's opinion can be published on Wikipedia. I think I am just a little excited since I have just learned how to really use Wikipedia. Please don't talk to me in such a condescending fashion. 129.74.229.16 (talk) 23:38, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
What in the world are you thinking?Where do you get off deleting a question that I have posed to another editor on his or her talk page? Are you totally daft? Reverting with the language
is intended for a) for vandals, and b) largely for those who have performed their edit in the mainspace. So what did I do? The editor on whose page I left my message had reverted my edits to an article, and I was unclear as to why, and so I left him a bleeping question asking him to explain? There was nothing rude, profane, or even mildly heated in my comment (unlike now, when I think I'll burst a blood vessel in a moment). And you took it upon yourself to delete my question. Well, look, Fatty, get a clue. Unless something is clearly and obviously an horrible violation of ettiquette (major profanity, personal attack, etc.), it is not your place to "protect" another editor's talk page. Those comments are between he and I, and if he needs protection, he can leave a message asking for it. JFC. 68.218.222.40 (talk) 04:15, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

The Mickey Mouse ClubI am having trouble with an editor removing information of mine that is sourced and cited very well. They are telling me that an "uninterested" editor needs to publish the information, which makes no sense to me as an "uninterested" editor would have no reason to do so. Zachary Jaydon was a cast member on The Mickey Mouse Club, and I have cited numerous Official, Reliable, Non-Secondary Disney Publications that provide this information clearly. The editor keeps removing the information without taking the time to check the sources, which can be done if a small amount of effort is put into it. I believe that this goes against Wiki policy as well as a major lack of the assumption of good faith. Removing unsourced information is one thing, but when an editor takes the time to make an article more informative and accurate, it's very discouraging. Please help! Zachary JaydonYou helped me on the previous AfD of my article on Zachary Jaydon, so I am once again asking for your help. I have sourced the article as well as I know how, and even provided album and magazine scans, etc. What else can I do?! Thank you for your help! There seems to be confusion as to the relation between Jaydon D. Paull & Zachary Jaydon. They are one in the same. A large percentage of performers/artists don't go by their legal name. Any notability no matter which of the two names they are credited under are still assertions of nobility under either or both. Many people are eliminating anything that can be user uploaded or changed. I agree with the principle of this in general, however, videos, magazine scans and the such are irrefutable proof of events or facts no matter where they came from. If there is a video of Mr. Jaydon playing with a National Rock Band, you can't say that because it was put up by a "user" that the fact doesn't remain. While every sentence of this Wiki Article isn't strongly sourced, it doesn't mean he doesn't meat notability requirements for an article. I have scanned and uploaded quite a few of my sources at: http://zacharyjaydonwiki.blogspot.com/ Also, the following was taken directly from WP:N#MUSIC: Criteria for composers and lyricists For composers, songwriters, librettists or lyricists: 1. Has credit for writing or co-writing either lyrics or music for a notable composition. Jaydon has written material on several Multi-Platinum records, including *NSYNC, Craig David, Ryan Cabrera and others. These WERE songs that were included on these albums. They weren't scrapped, or obscure B-Sides. These were songs included on official releases by MAJOR artists. He obviously has notable talent if these artists are choosing to work with him. This is obviously an arguable issue, but given the success of the albums his work has been featured on, it seems at the VERY least, notable. These credits are easily verifiable here: The 3 above sources are all from www.ASCAP.com which is one of the most trusted sources used on Wiki for Songwriter Credit Verification. ([5]) also shows from a VERY large, Fortune 500 companies website with information on Close To Home and confirming Mr. Jaydon's Songwriting Credits. This website would be considered reliable on any front, and also independent of the subject himself. Skyler Morgan (talk) 22:53, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
