Hi I've corrected the Grammar on Fresenius (company), having no space between the hyphen and the word is incorrect. There must be a space between them or no hyphen, which was my first edit which you undid.

Overdue QPQs

Edwardx, while it's great that you are continuing to write articles and submitting them to DYK, you currently have three older nominations that are still waiting for QPQ reviews, from April 11, 19, and 26. It feels like I have to regularly remind you of missing QPQs, and that's not something either of us wants, really. QPQ is a necessary part of of DYK, and I'd appreciate it if you would take responsibility for promptly doing your own. I realize that not everyone has time to do the QPQ prior to nominating, but it shouldn't take more than seven days to supply a missing QPQ.

There have been complaints at the DYK talk page about nominations stretching out for a long time, and this is one reason for it. DYK used to be stricter about how long was allowed for lack of response before nominations were closed as unsuccessful, and I think you'll see fewer tacit extensions given in future. Quinndo Very few were really errors, merely opportunities for minor stylistic improvement. Writing biographies of business people is tricky as the sources tend to talk up the person, and we need to rephrase things such that they comply with Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. As for Christine Holgate, there is generally no need to reference anything in the infobox (or the article lead), as long as it is mentioned and cited elsewhere in the article. The infobox and the lead are intended to summarise content found elsewhere in the article. Keep up the good work! I learn new things about Wikipedia editing every day. @Edwardx: Thank you! It is really hard to find her year of birth. I found some sources said her birth of year was in December 1963 (http://www.checkcompany.co.uk/director/3149496/CHRISTINE-WENDY-HOLGATE) but no quality source confirmed this information. Based on information "Christine Holgate was 54 in October 2018" (https://www.afr.com/work-and-careers/management/australia-posts-christine-holgate-is-on-a-mission-to-win-back-trust-20180911-h1584v) and simple calculation, I could confirm this information. Quinndo Good question. This is a perennial problem with business bios, and other people who are not very prominent. We must follow Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons, and in this case particularly the section WP:BLPPRIMARY. So, a site like checkcompany.co.uk would be considered by many/most editors to be primary. It is most likely scrapped from old data produced by Companies House and their website, Search the register. As you can see, their are several Christine Holgates, and none are likely to be "ours", as there is nothing in her article to suggest that she has ever been a company director in the UK. AFR meets our Wikipedia:Reliable sources criteria. A good resource for this is Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources. If you are unsure, you can ask at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard, BUT do search the very extensive archives first (link to the right of "Contents"), as many sources have already been discussed.

For the "birth_date" field in her infobox we would use the {{birth based on age as of date |yy|yyyy|mm|dd}} template to show that she was 54 on 11 October 2018. Of course, it is very likely that AFR have based that on primary sources, perhaps using the Australian equivalent of the UK's Companies House data. AFR is fine for our purposes. Wikipedia is essentially a tertiary source summarising information published in reliable secondary sources (such as AFR). And coming back to an earlier question, this is something for which a reference in the infobox would be appropriate. Edwardx (talk) 10:38, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

If no article yet existed, one could start Draft:Christine Holgate. The alternative would be to suggest changes on the talkpage, which would be best practice if one was a paid or COI editor, but this can otherwise be quite cumbersome. Your NPOV concern is valid. It is difficult to write good bios of businesspeople without slipping into PR-speak, as that is what happens all too often even in reliable sources. Do your best, encourage other more experienced editors to tweak your efforts, and try to learn from their changes. The key is to cite everything. Edwardx (talk) 11:49, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

Thanks, Robvanvee. I will endeavour to leave a warning if and when I revert again. In my experience, this sort of editor usually eventually gives up and goes away, and (on average) reverting them repeatedly is less work than reporting them and posting warnings on their page which they rarely read, and even then, almost always ignore. Perhaps I am too cynical. And as per point 7 of WP:3RRBLP, I would hope that this sort of revert to Bourla would be exempt from the 3RR rule, although I realise that it is a grey area.
