14th anniversary on Wikipedia!
Happy First Edit Day!
Overdue QPQsEdwardx, while it's great that you are continuing to write articles and submitting them to DYK, you currently have three older nominations that are still waiting for QPQ reviews, from April 11, 19, and 26. It feels like I have to regularly remind you of missing QPQs, and that's not something either of us wants, really. QPQ is a necessary part of of DYK, and I'd appreciate it if you would take responsibility for promptly doing your own. I realize that not everyone has time to do the QPQ prior to nominating, but it shouldn't take more than seven days to supply a missing QPQ. There have been complaints at the DYK talk page about nominations stretching out for a long time, and this is one reason for it. DYK used to be stricter about how long was allowed for lack of response before nominations were closed as unsuccessful, and I think you'll see fewer tacit extensions given in future. Thanks for taking care of these QPQs. BlueMoonset (talk) 23:41, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read!
