Rex RyanLong time no see, Eagles! How are things? I'm currently working on bringing Ryan back to FAC and I was wondering if you may have any ideas and/or input in regards to whether or not I need to add or remove anything from the article before I list it. I'm not in a rush but if you have some spare time, I would appreciate your feedback. Thank you. -- The Writer 2.0 Talk 17:00, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
Tommie FrazierHey Eagles 24/7, Hope you're doing well. Man, I was seeing how I need to start adding some of the offline sources I used to write portion's of Tommie Frazier's biography a while back. I'll start with information from analyst Tom Lemming. Lemming rated Frazier as No. 3 in his Top 101 recruits from 1992. Here is the source: "Athlon Football - Nebraska & the Big Eight - 1992 Edition, Volume 16 (magazine)". The page where Lemming's Top 101 recruits is listed is page 131. How do I make this as a citation, as I cannot locate on the web Lemming's Top 101 from so long ago? You've helped me so much in the past, and I thank you for that. I'll shut up and listen. Rod Hayes (talk) 13:10, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
Thanks, Eagles 24/7. I will try to work that into action. Hope it isn't too complicated for me to grasp. Also, I found Tommie Frazier's Jesus quote (his grandmother was a very strong Christian, woman of faith) in Bob Schaller's book "Touchdown Tommie" on page 132. I think the info about coach Dr. Osborne being so happy that he cried when Frazier signed with Nebraska is in that book too. I have so many other things I have to accomplish today. I know what you said though. "There is no deadline". Rod Hayes (talk) 14:59, 31 July 2012 (UTC) Wearing myself out, Eagles 24/7. I have been completing so many URLs converting them to true citations that I am about to give out! Hope you're doing OK. I was going to tell you that I've gotten back into working on football players' biographies. I have improved many, many of the bios that have been placed Wikipedia. I checked out a ACC team's quarterback's bio back in June, and I said to myself, "Man, I need to pick this up to help out with the quality and boost Wikipedia." Now, I just have to go back - when I have spare time - and complete some of those references I subbed in while not realizing how to cite them correctly. You're help with the "Cite Journal" info has done so much to lift me in the understanding of it all. Thanks.Rod Hayes (talk) 02:42, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
New England Patriots Roster spam revertsI would like to report someone who is constantly reverting edits. On the roster I added Kareem Huggins as a FB(press release: http://www.patriots.com/news/article-1/Patriots-sign-two-Veteran-G-Robert-Gallery-retires/bcba3166-5242-416d-a655-1cd44903dc3b) and user ChrisJNelson (I don't know how to link user pages) continues to revert it back based on Wikipedia:Speculation because of his size. Also, he keeps putting Derrick Martin (a new signee) under Devin McCourty because he pronounces it MACCourty and somehow puts a mystical A there putting Devin's name AHEAD of Derrick. According to this, he is wrong http://www.mhhe.com/business/buscom/gregg/docs/appc.pdf (How to alphabetize) Can we please settle this with this user so the roster can be displayed correctly? Fresh Prince Carlton (talk) 05:30, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for clearing that up. I did some research, and the rules say you must ignore symbols and MAC always goes before Mc (and it's a preference on whether you say MIC or MAC). Yeah, I had no problem keeping tabs, I just know that speculation on Wiki is a mortal sin lol (hell, by tomorrow we should know along with his new number) How do we prevent an "edit war"? Or will you message him? Side joke, imagine alphabetize Belichick by how you spell his real last name which is spelt Bilicic with odd symbols above it. "Psychically unable to perform"E247, I don't know if you're still collecting Wikipedia malapropisms and other funny edits, but I thought you might appreciate this: [1]. Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 02:57, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
If you have an account on UTRS, could you please review this user's unblock request? I am considering offering them a second chance or the standard offer.--v/r - TP 13:47, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
Vandalism of Knowshon Moreno's Wiki biographyHi Eagles 24/7. I just noticed Knowshon Moreno's Wiki late last night. Some kid got a hold of it. In the intro paragraph, you can clearly see a reference symbol sticking out - unnatural in appearance. Now, I am not familiar with how you go about clicking to remove a page that is damaged by Vandalism. I was hoping you could help out with this matter, thanks. Later, I will add Moreno's college stats Wiki box to his biography. Thanks,Rod Hayes (talk) 20:02, 11 August 2012 (UTC) Somebody got on Moreno's bio and - it looks that - that person tried to add specific details to enhance Moreno's early history section. I could try and take that person's work - and fix it up. Just too tired right now. Someone also did some stat update after the vandalism too that is good Wiki work. I guess I will tweak the biography. Just wanting to let you know about the vandalism. Rod Hayes (talk) 21:11, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
Page move requestCould you please move Southern Air (Yellowcard Album) to Southern Air (album)? As there is only one album entitled "Southern Air" on Wikipedia, period. --ıʇɐʞǝɐdʌɐиƭɐqǝoɟʎouɹqoɐʇ [✉] 22:40, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
conversion of CFB player to NFL player infoboxesE247, an IP user (69.171.172.125) is converting the infoboxes of undergraduate football players to the NFL player infobox. Since all of these players are still undergrads, and the IP is adding NFL teams that have not drafted or singed these players, this appears to be intentional vandalism. Can you take a look? Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 02:50, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
Am I Clinically Insane?Hi Eagles, I wanted to get your opinion on something. An IP wrote on my Talk page yesterday (My replies are on their TP) claiming their edit to Bill Parcells fixed a misalignment in the infobox however when I viewed it, it appeared the IP had did more harm than good. When I explained this to them by showing the diffs, they proceeded to tell me it must be my monitor because it was misaligned. I viewed the article on three separate monitors with no "special settings" on three different desktops/laptops and it has been fine every time. Can you tell me if I'm losing my mind (and need to replace a few monitors) or if this IP likes to test the patience of editors? -- The Writer 2.0 Talk 09:11, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
Bert Bell and the Eagles worst record everHow do you fix this: "wherein Bell led the Eagles to a 1–11 finish, their worst record ever." It's supposed to say "wherein Bell led the Eagles to an 1-11 finish, to date(some wikipedia template here) their worst record ever. Ijustreadbooks (talk) 00:55, 18 August 2012 (UTC)

Ijustreadbooks (talk) 02:27, 18 August 2012 (UTC) Biggest to-do NFLHello Eagles247, I am in one of my spurts of activeness on Wikipedia and noticed that I still have the "this user participates in the NFL wiki-project" thing on my userpage and thought that I should, you know, participate in the aforementioned project. Looking at the to-do list, I couldn't tell what was the highest priority and thought you, being a right-minded NFL fan (Go Eagles!) could direct me on something that needs done. Have a good day. Go Phightins! (talk) 01:34, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
bert bell and kenny washingtonI had to override you. I have well over 500 edits since your peer review. I humbly and respectfully believe the Bert Bell article can not include the fact that Kenny Washington was a running back. The Wikipedia Article on KW should decide whether KW was a rb, a qb, or whatever and it's way off topic. Just because I disagree with u on this does NOT mean i do not have the utmost respect for u. KW as a rb is deleted without prejudice. Ijustreadbooks (talk) 04:31, 23 August 2012 (UTC) Ijustreadbooks (talk) 04:35, 23 August 2012 (UTC)fix grammar
and btw on bert bellThis is a crucial crucial crucial article. I hope you will continue to assist me. I think he is just nothing short of lovable. I hope, I realize his sons are still significant public figures and they still love their father very much, and really most of all the article should show that Bell eschewed his blue-blood heritage to make the NFL a blue collar successful enterprise. You are missing some stuff, but one of his son's (i forget which one) nailed it down; Bell was not focused on commercialism but more on ..................*think* the game. Ijustreadbooks (talk) 04:44, 23 August 2012 (UTC) Bert Bell and his childrenThey have not been hurtful to the article; they have been helpful. Ijustreadbooks (talk) 04:51, 23 August 2012 (UTC) Greatest Redskins navboxWhat's your take on this: Template:The 80 Greatest Redskins? Is this an acceptable navbox, or does this have notability, subjectivity and cruftiness problems? Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 19:07, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
Bert Bell and the Pro BowlI don't know what to do about it. The Pro Bowl is under attack everywhere. The Pro Bowl is part of his legacy. In order to keep npov, I have to update the article that the Pro Bowl is under attack. This is not original research. This is a tough balancing act because the Pro Bowl article should really be the primary focal point for this controversy. It's really complicated for me to handle. Any input you have would be greatly appreciated with respect to how to handle this in the legacy section of the Bell article. Me personally, I think the Pro Bowl will end within the next 5 years. As of now, there is no finality to whether or not the Pro Bowl is a viable entity in the NFL. Ijustreadbooks (talk) 01:54, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
bert bell:pomp and circumstanceto make a long story short; one of his sons are right. Bell was, at heart, a blue-collar guy. It's supposed to come out in my edits. To make a long story short, one of his sons resigned from an executive position during the 1960s (i think it was w the Baltimore colts) over Rozelle's transformation of the Super Bowl into a media spectacle. I believe I have faithfully reproduced his passion for the game and supported it with citations, but not gone overboard. I could add one anecdote on his anti-gambling stance but I feel it is not necessary. I only think 1936-1939, and of course WWII, is a problem. WWII will always be a problem - there is nothing I can do about missing info during WWII - it's a blackhole. Ijustreadbooks (talk) 06:08, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
fix required on the owners of the eagles in 1940Alexis Thompson did not own the eagles until 1941. It's messed up in some kind of template thing in the Bert Bell article. Ijustreadbooks (talk) 03:45, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
