Dante2326, I don't know what you mean with "requested articles". I asked you all to find a press release, a company website, a blog. If that's what you mean, look on the internet.

Prepex

Dear Dr. Aiij, I am an epidemiologist and new to Wikipedia. I have been working on the circumcision device articles and appreciate your edit to the Prepex article. Sorry, but that's sort of outside my jurisdiction right now--my students and I saw a problem with the somewhat extraordinary claim that so many millions of lives would be saved through male circumcision. I haven't looked at the history of the article, so I don't know if I'm messing with your work, if you know what I mean, but in general I can say that Wikipedia articles need to be based on secondary sourcing, esp. when strong claims are made. So if you run into primary sources that do much more than simply confirm a somewhat obvious fact, I urge you to look into the matter, either by tagging or by adding secondary sources. Oh, no. Now you got me thinking. Here from WP:MDS A primary source in medicine is one in which the authors directly participated in the research or documented their personal experiences. They examined the patients, injected the rats, filled the test tubes, or at least supervised those who did. Many, but not all, papers published in medical journals are primary sources for facts about the research and discoveries made. A secondary source in medicine summarizes one or more primary or secondary sources, usually to provide an overview of current understanding of the topic, to make recommendations, or to combine results of several studies. Examples include literature reviews or systematic reviews found in medical journals, specialist academic or professional books, and medical guidelines or position statements published by major health organizations. I have my doubts about that. I do not believe that UNAIDS is a health organization in the sense of WP:MEDRS (though I'm sure someone like SlimVirgin knows that better than me), and what's being cited there (last note in Prepex#History) is hardly a review study or meta-analysis--it's a press release. Basically, yes. You put a footnote at the end of a word, phrase, sentence, set of sentences, paragraph, whatever it is that you got from that source. Makes for much easier reading too! Say, do the Azande practice Vaginal steaming? Dr Aaij (talk) 19:26, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
