re: warning to User talk:38.100.105.133Greetings Dmadeo! I noted that you recently left a level 2 warning at this IPs talk page. This IP is a chronic vandal, and unfortunately, there has been some difficulty in blocking the IP because editors have not been giving graduated warnings that allow for blocks (I'm not sure if you have seen the IP's talk page, but this is obvious). Since the warning given prior to yours was already a level 2, could you consider changing your warning to a level 3? Thanks for your hard work! You are now a ReviewerHello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010. Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages. When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here. If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Nice to see you at NYU WikiconferenceThank you for coming up and introducing yourself on Saturday. Alas, I can't remember what was making me busy at the moment; probably figuring some aspect of hustling up lunch or something for the crowd. I did get a chance later to discuss geotagging for a productive hour with a bridge fan and sometime Wikiphotographer from Philadelphia. Someday we should organize a picture panel or similar attention getter at one of these annual Wikiconferences. Jim.henderson (talk) 12:15, 30 August 2010 (UTC) The Signpost: 30 August 2010

Nomination of Sacks spiral for deletionA discussion has begun about whether the article Sacks spiral, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy. The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sacks spiral until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion. You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. The main issue is that the article appears to contain original research. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion".
